im stuck with my U20i because of the lock pattern i cant unlock the phone, its asking me for my favourit movie which i dont remember because i have many favourit movies, i tried to update the phone but it didnt work because its locked
can anybody plz suggest a way to reset the whole device to get rid of this lock crap

Shutdown the device then repair your device through the se update service it will definitely work .
follow the instructions on se update service software to repair your device.
NOTE:all your personal data will be deleted while the update.

I updated my Xperia S to the latest version and I decided to try out the new feature-unlocking via face recognition. The problem arose at the beginning of the code, which I gave as an alternative way to unlock did not work. After a few hoursthe application responsible for face recognition also stopped working. And there was a really big problem: I can not in any way unlock the screen, because the code does not work, so I can not hook up the phone to the computer completely, because it requires unlocking the screen. do you have unlocked Bootloader? if not you can use the Update Service and reinstal the firmware and everything should be OK ( whit the risk of losing ur data and apps) just like a brand new phone, you mention that you have the lastest firmware so the Update Service will tell u that you already have it, just ignore it and choose to update anyway.
if yout bootloader is unlocked you can relock it and then use the Update Service.

After I make a wifi update , my P760 crash, .... wifi is not working.
My phone was rooted before update.
I try downgrade, recovery with original software, nothing,...wifi is not working.
On wifi menu, I see that WPS push button, WPS pin entry, wi-fi direct is greyed , only Advance is working, but on this menu Network Notification is greyed out,...mabe from here is the problem.
Someone has this problem, some solution?, some ideas?

So what ROM are you ON now (after downgrade/recovery)?
If nothing else, ONLINE flash LG official ROM(kdz) is always the last thing to try, and should be able to fix your problem.

I make last week a downgrade to 20B, no result, ...now I have latest 20H EUR, make with LG tool, latest from LG.
My phone is still in warranty, but I understand that is lost if I rooted phone.
Now phone in not rooted, only bootloader say that is unlocked.
Is possible to cheat warranty service?
Let's make it clear: you already tried to flash different versions of KDZ files with factory reset every time, and in all cases, WIFI is not working?
Once bootloader is unlocked, you lost warranty, and there is no way to re-lock the bootloader for our phone.
If both of the above is correct, my advice is to try your luck with warranty service. They might take the phone and not bother with your bootloader.
If you want to try cheating warranty service try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2404035 as i read on mother therad on http://forum.android.com.pl phone will boot only once after this changes. next boot will cause security error on LG Logo screen, it was tested by one user so information is not well verified. bring them working phone and if you get lucky they will brick it .

... yes, I try different versions of kdz and factory default. No result,....but is strange, after wifi update to crash imediately,....i think that is something software,...but with other kdz and reset need to be ok,...maybe is something that is not in kdz file.

I have an issue with my Xperia M4 E2303.
I am looking for solution of my problem which is - how can I make my phone full stock again?
I have root made, bootloader unlocked, recovery installed and custom rom installed also.
I have to return my phone on guarantee, and I have to wipe all things I've done.
I didn't register my phone on myXperia or any other "safety services".
Can I do it just by Sony companion by updating software?

Is the bootloader unlocked?
No, boot is locked
Search in the installed apps (3 dots at the top right display all the apps) google.
Delete data from:
Services framework/play store/google play services.
Restart and check if there are updates then check if the play store is certified (sometimes this is not indicated immediately).
Or
go to the updater and download the latest package.
what should i choose - Clear all or clear cache in app's info page?
