Disable Notification Bar Icons?

Hi everyone,
I searched the web for quit a time now, but did not find anything to answer my question:
Is there any way to disable the icons in the notification bar which appear while apps running in background without losing their full funktion?
For example I have an "Anti-Virus Program", "LBE Security Master" an "Tasker" running in Background. There a little Icons shown in the Status-Bar and big notifications when I pull down the notification bar. Of course many apps have an option to disable this, but they tell me that they won´t work right anymore if I would disable that. Since Jelly-Bean, I think, there is a way to disable notifications from every app but same thing here - apps seem not to work right anymore.
Is there a way to get rid of the icons or the big notifications without losing their funktion?
Thanks for answers

Really no one has that problem?
This is a very good forum but sadly in very most cases no one answers...

[Q] {advanced} How do i hide apps completely? (serious)

TLR, looking for something that hides apps or a browser etc that's not a mainstream app (Everyone knows about all the hide it pro apps and photo lockers and "hide application from drawer" type stuff, you can easily access it from settings). All that stuff is online. I'm looking for something that can maybe hide the app from drawer/settings and maybe have a "blank" app icon or blank settings menu space that activates it.
It still has to be easy enough to access frequently but be able to exit really fast and leave no traces in case someone barges in.
This is honestly to stop snooping of family/parents/friends. I'm of age to have my own privacy to have things on my phone that I want, but due to living with parents, in essence it's their rules and they can do as they please or I get kicked out. I simply want to keep things private like conversations and apps but normal hiding techniques are hardly adequate.
Do any of you know of an Xposed module or ROM with abilities like this? My dream thing would be to hide a messaging app and
-HIde app from drawer AND app manager in settings
-Close on home button press
-Discrete notification to inform of messages
-Password locked
-Quick to open
-Hidden opener(ie invisible button on homescreen/settings menu/widget)
I'd create it if I had the know how. Audio Manager does stuff well but it's well known that it's a hiding app and rents probably already know if it. Plus to hide an app with it, it takes a long time to "unhide" the app and open it and then close it. Plus there's no notifications. All the other hiding apps are cheesy like the calculator one (obvious to just google) etc.
Please refrain from making "judgemental" statements, this is a serious question and you don't need to go off topic and talk about morals, it's nothing illegal/bad/worth hiding tbh but some parents are psychotic (literal sense there's official medical statements)
Thanks. :fingers-crossed:

disable hiding of Chrome's omnibox on scroll

In Chrome, when you scroll down it will hide the omnibox. Is there anyway to disable that? Is there anyway to make it sticky? I want the omnibox to always be there, no matter if I have scrolled or not?

Is there something to hide apps that stay in notifications? (smartbands)

Hi, there
there is many devices and apps that require them to be running all the time to make them work for example smartbands, they have a notification saying connected, maybe one is fine, but i have 2 apps that require this and have to notification there all the time that I find annoying, is there any way to maybe have them running still but just hide the notifications?
If you're running Nougat, you can slide the notification to either side and open the settings for that app. There, press the encircled A and select the priority of the notification accordingly.
bump, can someone have a look

Floating bar mods? Better customization, at least?

Coming from a V20, I'm familiar with the content that was accessible via the 2nd screen. (I had BoredSigns installed as well, but I don't expect that additional functionality on the V30... yet)
I was surprised to see that you can't have the same shortcuts (like the flashlight, for instance) on the floating bar. Or any shortcuts, for that matter, other than the few they recommend like "take a selfie" and "new memo." You can't even have the same app shortcuts that you get from long-pressing on certain items. They're all just literally shortcuts to open an app that you might as well have on a homescreen anyway. Am I wrong?
Is there any development planned on the floating bar? I understand the floating bar has been ported to an app so any phone can use it... so my next logical question is if there are any BETTER 3rd party apps that I might as well install and use instead of the stock V30 floating bar app.
The same shortcuts from the 2nd screen are on the always-on display shortcuts... but the problem with that is that you can't get to them when the phone is on, as well as the fact that while I have to AOD disabled during the nighttime hours... that's often when I need a flashlight (logical, right?).
Any help? Thanks
