As Name suggest this is state of art Call recording application.I have tested my N910G for blutooth recording and working fine.
Installation :
Here at end of the post described three version get it from there.
For XDA version - You needs to have Sounds folder on IntSD
File location
-Rooted version : Int SD/Sounds
-Non rooted version Int SD/Voice
Dr.Ketan Auto Call Record For Rooted (XDA version)
Features : Full version, No recording limitations. Requires Root. Requires to make "Sounds" folder on Int SD if it is not there. No UI. Just click on app to activate,(Super SU permission will be ask at end of first outgoing Call)

Features - All features of Pro version but records upto less than 250KB file size

Is there anyway to have the recordings save to the extsd card?
When I use my bluetooth headset (Motorola HX550), it doesn't record both sides of the conversation - only the audio from my headset is recorded. I have the N910U.
Root permission was granted.

On exynos I can confirm (I bought app) that only audio from headset (not both sides) is recorded. Can u fix that?

Please test this app: Boldbeast Call Recorder
It can fix the bluetooth recording problem for Galaxy Note4 SM-N910C, SM-N910CQ, SM-N910H, SM-N910K, SM-N910L, SM-N910S, SM-N910U.
Root is needed. Please enable the "Change Audio Controls" option in the app, this is the key.
Note 5 All Files 0 Bytes
Hi.
I am getting the files saved in the voice folder but none of them will open and they all say 0 bytes.
This app was working fine on my phone very recently.
Did something change?

So have been testing call record with my car's bluetooth and it seems to work,got the Bluetooth alert telling me to switch to speaker mode,I left it connected to bluetooth(I have a galaxy nexus which doesn't seem to support line recording(made my recording with microphone default level 2 gain)) I dont know if the recording was made with bluetooth or with the microphone,quality was ok,certainly clear enough and I could understand fine,

Also I am sure I got PhoneLine working once although I know the GNexus is listed as not supported so I guess I must of dreamt that
One final thing in the app it says it is version 1.2 but you provided me by email 1.3 and Titanium backup reports 1.3 so maybe need to correct that?

Its a Galaxy Nexus GSM phone,the voice came from the car not speakerphone,I had recording set with microphone as source(as line does not seem to work) and although I didn't switch to speakerphone as per the alert,it still seemed to record and voice came from the car speakers,so record over bluetooth worked,whats the chances of getting Line working?

Exactly, Automatic Call Recorder by Appliqato. I use it on stock 4.4.4.

I've found a very nice app for call recording, that is feature-rich and doesn't require root.
It's called Automatic Call Recorder and can be found in Google Play here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.globaleffect.callrecord.
As the name suggests, it automatically records incoming/outgoing phone calls in any file format you wish (mp3, mp4, 3gp, wav) and you can adjust the quality.
Very importantly, it allows you to save the recordings on an external SD card, saving space on your device, even on KitKat.
It also supports linking to cloud services (Dropbox, Google Drive, SkyDrive).
Also useful is the option to have an alert dialog asking you whether to save a recording after every call.
That way, you can only save recordings of important calls, instead of just maintaining a huge archive of calls some of which are not worth keeping.
The recording is clear and loud on both sides, I am using the app on my Note 4 and my boyfriend on his Xperia Z3 (all running KitKat).
I recommend trying the fully-featured 2-week trial, it'll certainly make you want to get the full version!
All in all is an excellent solution that, once set up properly, according to your needs, will give you hassle-free, high quality recordings.
The overall UI is very nice too.

This app will enable native call record on N4 different variants. This will simply replace add call (+) button with record button. This app have no any control on Recording nor this app itself Records call. This is Tool simply enables samsung hidden call recorder. You can Uninstall this app once you enable this feature.
Installation and use
-Install attached app as regular apk
-Open app and long press on enable manual call record to enable it. (same way you can disable it too)
-Grant SU (Needs root)
-Wait till pop up message to reboot device.
-Once you reboot device, dialer + button will be replaced by record button
-You can uninstall app now.
Just add a line in the System> csc> others.xml

Of course it won't. This doesn't add anything. It just enables an existing feature. (Also why the app can be removed after enabling it.) For now, this app is most probably only for a TouchWiz ROMs, and I'm pretty sure it only applies for rooted stock.

Yes, this is samsung hidden feature and app in op just Enable that hidden feature. And for this reason it won't work on non Samsung base.
That's why header name is enable native recorder.

No. Because this is native Call Recording and my app have no control it just Enable it. My play store version have this facility.

Edit : I have tested and disable call recording working fine. You just need to long press on Disable call recording from App.
I have been reading a lot about call recording issues regarding Android pie. So I decided that i'll share a call recording app that I have been using that works very well on the Nokia 8.
Call Recorder found on F-Droid has been serving me quite well (https://f-droid.org/en/packages/com.github.axet.callrecorder/) even before I rooted the phone. I have attached screenshots of the last 2 calls I recorded earlier in the month. If you are unrooted I suggest you leave settings as default first before fiddling with them. If you are rooted then you can use "Voice Line" as your source since it already works for me. Dont forget to select "Calls Recording" option in the 3-dot menu before testing it. It might also be wise to ensure that the 'skip silence' and 'disable battery optimization' options are enabled.

Has anyone else used this app to confiirm if it works? Many android pie users have been complaining about their inability to record calls on their phones but it works perfectly on mine.

It worked on the Android 9 January security patch i used before I rooted the phone. Just glad that it works for someone else because I was starting to think maybe I got lucky.
It works for me no rooted phone with 5.14 build and March SP.

It works really well, coming from miui which has a great call recorder function built in, on Nokia 8 or any other android one device running pie this is the best way to have call recorder functionality.
My nokia 8 is non rooted and this app is working perfectly with no cracking sound from mic recording and proper contact name instead of unknown as with many other recorders i tried from play store.
