[Q] Large applications storage?

Since I am new to Android and the Streak, I wanted to know where large applications get stored, such as game downloads? Do they automatically know to go to the storage card or is there an option I must choose to move these files to the card? Since I already have a 32 GB iPhone, should I get a 32 gb sd card for the Streak or is 16 gb enough? How do I back up data and applications? Do they sync to my Mac through a software program such as iTunes? Can I backup games and save files? I know that my iPhone loses all game data when I delete files from the phone.

[Q] Transfer IE Favorites to Flyer

Just got a Flyer wi-fi model. Synced with my computer and transfered IE favorites to the Flyer. Have no idea where they are located. When I open the stock internet program it is not there. Any help would be appreciated. I'd like it integrated with the internet program. I have Firefox installed but doesn't seem to have favorites section that I can find.
In addition how can I access the SD card I put in the Flyer from the Flyer. Thanks for your help.
Alan
I think you will find that HTC Sync created a new bookmark folder on your PC and only items you place in that folder are synced.
The external SD card shows up as sdcard2 at the root level for Root explorer file manager.
Apps by default use the internal SD card for data storage.
I don't quite understand about creating the favorites on my computer. But if it did how do I transfer it to my Flyer and where do I put the folder? What do you use to find the SD card?

Are my Titanium Backups in the right place?

Hey guys, I just noticed that my Titanium Backups are stored in sd storage as opposed to the ext. Sd storage? What did I do here?
Have you tried going to Preferences | Backup folder location | Press back button and look for:
/mnt/extSdCard
and look for your Titanium Backup directory?
edit- you have to "Reload application" in TB for the changes to kick in. I just confirmed this on my rooted GS3 with backups made using a GS2.

Mine are stored in /mount/sdcard instead of /mount/extsdcard, when I go to preferences to change it, it won't allow me to "write files to this location? The only thing on my external sd card storage is my camera folder with my pictures in it? But I forgot to put the sd card in my phone until a couple of days after I had it, but I can't imagine that has anything to do with it? Also, I'm only using an 8gb card, but it has 7.39 of 7.40gb available?

Foldersync alternative which will write to External SD on unrooted 4.4.4 device?

Does anyone know of a folder sync utility which can sync a Dropbox folder with a folder on an external SD card on an unrooted ICS or Lollipop device?

Is ist possible to deactivate the device encryption?

Hello Guys,
is it possible to deactivate the device encryptin on the Xperia 1?
Just found out that files on internal storage can't be read bei Astro File Manager or by Windows Explorer on my Windows 10 Laptop. Only one filemanager for Android can see the internal storage of the device. That's vary annoying because I backup my data with my Laptop to save pictures and backup WhatsApp media and other files.
The SD card can be encrypted and decrypted on the fly but the internal storage doesn't.
Kind regards
Stefan
