Venue 8 - which replacement speaker ? - Dell Venue

Hi Guys,
when i opened my venue 8 3830 i destroyed my speaker-connection. The orginal one sounded bad before. I have to replace the speaker but i wanted to know if anybody tried a better sounding one (from a quality iphone or whatever). So my question is, which high quality speaker fits in the Venue 8 ?

Not for the speaker inside of the venue 8, but I found most of the time when I watch movies on my venue 8, I would prefer connect it to my headphone or bluetooth speaker.

I use BT headset for all my devices.

[Q]Sound Quality

Hello,
I've been looking into getting a Dell Venue and while reading some reviews, found out that the sound quality isn't the best. This isn't good for me because I was looking for a phone that could be a good MP3 player.
BUT...
none of the reviews said anything about using a headphone jack, only the speakers.
So my question is: How good is the Venue's sound quality when listening to music through headphones?
I'm new to android so I don't know if there are certain apps that will make it sound better
Thanks D
I like the quality of the sound via wired or bluetooth headphones, but you will want a music app with an equalizer and pre-amp settings. I suggest PowerAmp or Player Pro (my current favorite).
True. Just use bluetooth headphones coupled with dsp and enjoy some good clarity.

Having used numerous devices, I'd say that the headphone experience is generally identical across all devices (with a few exception, due to interference from software).
Quality from Dell Venue should be like on any device running on an AOSP Rom. If you're somewhere near audiophile, you probably would want to spend more budget on your headphone instead.

[Q] Audio Quality

i didn't own a 800 but ive just switched from using an iphone 4s and i have to say the sound quality is pretty weak. even with dolby turned on and messing with the settings it stll lacks the punch of my 4s.
also not sure if anyone else has this problem but if you pull the headphones out while music is playing, you get a brief burst of sound through the phones speakers instead of being silent

Might have to get a 8x instead then (, just broke my mp3, and i really don't want to buy a phone and an mp3.
EDIT: http://www.head-fi.org/t/635554/nokia-lumia-920-sound-quality/15
read this, they are very fond of the audio quality
I work for EE in the UK and i tried both with my Beats headphones and the 8x was definitely better

Pocketnow's review puts the lumia above the HTC 8x as far as sound quality goes.

are the new headphones cheaper than the first ones?

sorry for my bad english
i found a thread on another forum about a spanish guy who bought an idol 3 (5'5) , when he unboxed the package he realized that the headphones looked cheaper, here is a picture

i mean, the headphones are different than these ones

the guy also said that headphones sound is really dissapointing
what headphones do you have ? and what model is your idol? (for example in my country is 6045l)
EDIT: i can't post outside links, so please remove the space
In Canada, we don't get any headphones with the 6045L

JBL headphone, great quality, with 6045Y
black headphones from idol 3. too much bass from them. poor plastic quality. i sold them very quickly. i don't say they are bad. i just got other so i don't want that they lie in a box.
They are defenitely cheaper than the first version. I got those too, and trust me - their sound is mediocre. However it gets alot better if you disable the JBL sound option. If you do that and plug in a good pair of cans the sound is top notch. And if you want even better sound install CM 12.1.

And don't forget about Viper4Android, that thing makes magic
Having bought four Idol 3/5.5 (6045Y) for my family, I got both versions of those headphones. I find the "cheaper looking" version much better (without the JBL sound option) than the ones on your second picture (the initial version in fact) . This said, both are really sh1tty, compared to my good old Panasonic RP-HJE120 which only lack a microphone. Now, why TCL/Alcatel chose to ship those sh1tty JBL-branded earphones with such a great phone remains a mistery to me, especially when you see the price of my good old Panasonc ones.

Audio Quality in H10

Hey, I want to buy new phone soon and I look on H10 and Zenfone 5(z). Someone of you can tell me something about audio quality in Honor 10 (nice if you will compare it to your previous phone).
Audio quality is excellent, way better than Xiaomi Mi 6
I can tell you that i use Huawei headset AM185, it has settings made for this set as well and the sound is incredible.
as a reference to see what headset i use i ll post this link. You can find it cheaper than that

Audio quality is pretty good...

Stereo Speakers?

All the videos that I've watched and articles that I have read say nothing other than that the bottom speaker is inside the usb port. Is the top speaker stereo, or just for calls?

Functional speaker for calls(low amplified) and music is high amplified at the top earpiece
Looks similar to the P20 Pro
It has stereo speakers as other phones but vol abit too low compare to Galaxy Note 9 even Xiaomi Redmi Note 5/Pro
Yes I have the phone it is dual speakers
The speakers are NICE!! Coming from a Pixel 2 xl.
I've only tested briefly, but played the sample music that comes with it and very impressive. No distorting at max volume, good sounding, nice enough bass for phone speakers. The bottom one is definitely the main driver but they sound balanced and quite impressive.
I have to say that the sound of the P20 Pro is better. Ihave bothphones so i can compare.
Regards
I have both too and will be testing tonight

You are right, p20 Pro is better. That shouldn't be the case with what is its enhanced brother
