[Q] Can anyone confirm, *#*#4636#*#* and ability to chose wcdma only on mate 2 - Huawei Ascend Mate 2

can anyone corfirm that we can choose "WCDMA Only" with hidden menu *#*#4636#*#* ?
if hidden menu not appear, and using some apps to open "phone info" menu, is it able to choose WCDMA only?
is there any way, to make this possible? even with rooting? i just need to set mate 2 to wcdma only, some people say huawei locked this kinda stuff.
using mate 1 now, will start using mate 2 in a days,, just want to make sure about this. before i mess aroud with custom rom.
(i can set wcdma only with custom rom for mate1)
thank you.

That code doesn't do anything for me, I can't even dial after it.

Phone info (radio info) is locked but you can do what you want by using gravity box then setting the phone setting radio settings in gravity box then set it there. For gravity box you need root and xposed installed.

No file is needed. Be sure you have rooted your phone first then just get the xposed installer from the play store.
Install the installer program. Use that to install the xposed framework, reboot.
Then use that program to download the gravitybox module, enable it and reboot.. Then you can adjust gravitybox's settings.

[Mod][Xposed] [09/17] 30/45 steps media and call volume Xposed module

I made an Xposed module it should work on any device with installed Xposed framework. Feel free to try and send me feedback.
I can not guarantee that this will work with every device/rom but it should on most! There are several reports of issues with TouchWiz based ROMs
UPDATE:
Module is now available under Downloads in the Xposed app itself. Please Download it from there!
guide:
1. install http://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk
2. open app click "Framework" and "Install/Update"
3. click Download and choose XVolume
4. click Download again and install app
5. click Modules and tick XVolume30
3. Install my apk
4. open Xposed app and go to "Modules"
5. tick XVolume
6. Reboot
7. enjoy
If it dosn't work for you please post me your /data/xposed/debug.log here.
UPDATE: Simple UI added. Remove old app before installing the new one in Setting->Apps please.

It works perfectly on Cataclysm ROM (Google based) on GNex. Thank you so very much! I had another module that had tons of mods I did not need. Happy Happy!! I'll post this in a couple threads and get more traffic here.
Works great thanks!
Working great on both of my Nexus 7 and 10 running Rasbeanjelly. Thanks.
using Xposed v2.2 installed but will not show up in both Xposed modules or in the Apps list.
EDIT: Installed through the new v2.2 download interface and that works.

[APP][Xposed][Youtube AdAway]

This is a simple Xposed module to help you get rid of ads on the official YouTube App.
Requirements:
- Xposed Framwork
How to Install:
- Install Xposed Installer and framework
- Install YouTube AdAway App
- Enable the module on Xposed installer (ex, LSXposed)
- Reboot
Notes:
- Reboot is a MUST after updating the module.
- This application is NOT a modified YouTube App
Bugs Report:
- If you still get an IN-VIDEO ad, please report an issue here with your xposed logs.
Download.
Mirror.
I dont have any issues while using Vanced and SC, along with Magisk too. lol
It was last week. I used the root method.
I got banned from Snapchat 2 days after installing Lucky Patcher & Youtube Vanced. I went to Lucky Patcher and " reinstalled " Snapchat as it was supposed to delete android patches related to Snapchat.
2 days later I got banned once again. I have uninstalled Lucky Patcher and Youtube Vanced, since then no ban from Snapchat (for 1 week)
I think I will try one more time with only Youtube Vanced installed to see what happens but I fear I will definitively banned
Other people have experienced the same issue.

Don't use the root method. I never have. Best practice for security in general is to only provide root for apps that truly need it. It's considered bad security design to achieve something with root that could also be achieved without root, hence YouTube Vanced providing a non-root version. Just make sure magisk hide is enabled while you're at it

I'm on the same Rom + Xposed beta with no issues, just make sure the module is enabled, clear YouTube App data. and and reboot.
This application was tested against the latest YouTube update (5.3.24) and it's been downloaded more than 1500 in the last 10 hours with no such reports! if you are using any other version upload it.
EDIT: YouTube AdAway V1.1 posted.
The new update V1.1 requires Xposed framework 2.3+ (API 31+), because it includes some check helpers to detect Xposed installation status.

So since you said that this module requires that we be on Xposed Framework 2.3+ (API 31+), I'm gonna assume that this also includes people that are running the new Xposed Framework BETA...? I know for a fact that I haven't installed the BETA yet, but I'm not too sure how I can check and see which Xposed Framework "API" I'm running. When I open up Xposed, I can click on "About" and under "Version of this app:" it shows "2.3.1". How can I check and see which Xposed Framework API I'm running?
Thanks! :good:

I'm running the beta2 of Xposed Installer too.
You can check the API version on the framework tab of Xposed installer.
Anyway you will get a notification on the Xposed installer modules list if you are running a lower API level, and you won't be able to activate it, also my App should let you know if the module is not enabled.

Thanks for the key info! I took a lil break from fiddling with my phone, but I just now went and messed around a little bit with YouTube and I haven't seen one single embedded "In-Video" ad ! So far, so good!! Thanks man!!! Oh yea, one quick question..how's this module gonna be affected when Google spits out another update to the YouTube app? Is it possible for an update to the YouTube app to "break the functionality" of this module, or do we not really have much to worry about when taking any YouTube updates? Thanks in advance for the info! :good:

If you have root, the xposed framework has an "Advanced power menu" module you can install. That is just one of many solutions but unfortunately you can not add it on to stock without root as far as I'm aware.

Thats what i do, keep stock rom, root so i can debloat the stuff i dont want or need and use xposed modules to customise. With all the great modules available i dont feel the need to change roms anymore.
GravityBox an Xposed Modul can do this.
And a lot other modifications to make the stock rom perfect.

Bear with me this is my first sonny phone lol.
Pardon my ignorance.
Cant remember exactly how i got the xposed framework app, i believe it was prompted from within unicon which is also great module for icon changing
You need Root and the Xposed installer (apk), which will install the Xposed framework
I rooted using easy root method (search). Then backup your TA. Then install/sideload xposed apk (search). It's very simple. Everything takes about 15m.
Root + xposed + stock rom > custom rom
You can also try towelroot (which is just an app you run) to "1 click" root. That takes about 1s. Didn't work for me on the z2, but it has worked for others.

Accessibility setting is being unticked after every reboot

Nexus 5, Lollipop 5.0.2. Greenify always tells me 'something is blocking the Greenify service' but I've got all the services enabled and things like that. I checked accessibility, and the greenify option is unticked. It becomes unticked after every reboot.
I'm using the donation and Xposed package, does anybody have any tips to fix this?
Is your Greenify running in root or non-root mode?
Accessibility service only make sense in non-root mode.

I too am having the same issue on cm12 nightlies. All my greenify experimental settings are getting unticked after reboot. I'm using built-in root with Xposed and donation package
Accessibility setting- Greenify Off
I am using Xiaomi Redmi 1s and I am also facing this issue. I noticed that the setting get unchecked even without reboot. It will run for some time and when I check greenify , it will be showing greenify (no auto-hibernation..) and several apps will be listed under "waiting for manual hibernation". When I go to accessibility setting, Greenify will be off

In MIUI, you need to whitelist Greenify for auto-start settings. MIUI may block and kill the cleaner service of Greenify unless explicitly whitelisted.
