Woah! I'm gonna use it when I obtain my OPO. Good job man!

mac?

Masterlists just updated to include flashing XNPH44S factory pack, wasn't aware they finally released that yesterday. Cheers.

Doesn't seem to be working for me... I'm updated to the newest build (KTU84Q) and also version (XNPH44S). Every time I try to do a backup of my apps+data, it says "waiting to reboot..", but phone doesn't reboot, then it goes straight to "waiting for device..", then just hangs there and eventually times out. I have MTP disabled, and USB debugging enabled... any one know what could be the reason?

Edit:
I post the question in Q&A thread.

Woooo! It's great! Thanks

Finally !!! Bacon made one for you! thks

Thanks for this!
Been using your toolkit for my Nexus 7 and just love it, even donated for some beer

I donated just to show my appreciation for porting this kit to the OPO. There are other OPO kits but they are pretty basic compared to this kit. I plan to continue to support the developer and I hope this kit will be around for future OPO models as released.

I have subscription this thread because I 'm very interesting to its development
I Don't undestand why a lot of posts are unnecessary like "thanks" "ohhh" "amazing". Is this useful for the tool or only for incremental the own posts? This unnecessary post hide questions and informations.
I'm not a moderator here, so If they accept it no problem.

Awesome...
Will download & let know how this works for our ONE

Because a product like this requires an incredible amount of time and dedication by the developer and will likely (and hopefully) go on for a long time to come. It's important to show both verbal and financial appreciation if you want the developer to remain in the game.

Finally!
The best toolkit for android smartphones! On the Nexus 4/5 it was perfect!

* Windows Phone Power Tools 1.0 - Stable Release!!!

O I found something!!!
Released: Sep 12 2011
Updated: Sep 12 2011 by nachmore
Dev status: Stable
http://wptools.codeplex.com/
The Windows Phone Power Tools are a natural extension to the developer tools that come with the Windows Phone SDK. Instead of allowing you to only install developer xaps the Power Tools let you test update scenarios by allowing you to update an existing developer app. Instead of having to step through the IsolatedStorage file browser on the command line, the Power Tools provide a GUI to allow you to interact with your applications.

thanks jack. keep us posted
It does work with mango but once again, we can no longer see marketplace app isolated storage. This is nothing to do with this program, its something different with mango and its a real pain in the arse. Gonna have to dodgy download apps that i have paid for on this very phone to side load them to allow me to backup and restore that apps location, crazy days!
oh it doesnt yet replace GUIDs with propper names, thats a tad enoying
XAP sending etc is fine, just needs some work on the file browser side.

xboxmod says thare in some dll but i dont know ware i just need to get my hands on the default stuff so i can make some drastic inprovments!

[DEV] [REF] Splash Updater Utility - Modify source to add a GUI to any script!

Background
Here is a program a whipped up as a learning experience.
My goal was to demonstrate a way add a GUI to any batch script as a standalone EXE.
I did some research and found a small program developed by Dion Nicolaas called Wizard's Apprentice. This program uses a well-described and portable API to create a good user interface for most script languages (e.g. Perl, PHP, VB or batch). This is an old (2006) but effective program and I am sure there may be newer and/or better programs that could have been used.
Armed with...
close to zero experience with batch
the manual for Wizard's Apprentice
benjamminzIS's code from here
Bat To Exe Converter 1.6.0
a nifty website called google
and LOTS of trial and error
...I was able to make this program.
This project demonstrates that almost anyone can add a GUI to almost any script…and really that means the options are limitless. I am not going to write a guide on how to do this but I am releasing all my source code/files for anyone interested.
I encourage anyone to modify, repackage, repurpose or even continue developing this program as your own.
I require no credit and it is my hope that this program will be used as a base (or reference) that will stimulate more meaningful development.
All I ask is that if you are experienced with batch scripting that you do not make fun of my scripts (at least not to my face), which should be functional but are surely not the most advanced or efficient.
Overview
This program will allow you to choose a 540 x 960 image file (e.g. jpg, png, bmp), convert it to a flashable format (.img), optionally save the converted file and/or flash the file to your phone.
All things considered this program is nothing to be too excited about except that it can be used as a base to add a GUI to other scripts.
This is and always will be a beta release and I plan to only release (at most) a couple of updates to fix any critical issues that are found.
I personally tested this on my device and found it to work perfectly but do your own research and please only use it at your own risk.

Ben, thanks for code!
You know batch better than me, you could do much more with wizzapp than I have...it's a cool tool...very straight forward.

I am curious to hear some feedback from those (few) that downloaded this. Feedback?
Hey man.
I am very impressed by what you were able to do here. I have been trying to edit your source to make a GUI for my batch file but I cant get it to work right. The code looks nothing like normal batch to me.
What are you looking to do?
The the manual for Wizard's Apprentice is really helpful BUT it took me a lot of trial and error...it is not standard batch but pretty straightforward.
Works great!Super easyyyyyyyyyy!Thanks aloooooooooot!:good::good:
I have a batch script that roots the republic wireless defy xt. It is outdated now with the most recent update to the phone but I still wanted to test it with wizard apprentice.

Hello world !!!
I've created a project of a new kind : The RecoverX Project
The goal of this project is to gather ALL the recoveries for ALL android devices in ONE tool which install them on the devices. RecoverX is coded in C++ thanks to QtSDK and allow to install a recovery on more than 150 different devices !!!
You just have to select your device and the recovery, click "Install" and RecoverX does the rest !!! It's that simple
This program require different prerequesties, depending of your device
- Wether you need an unlocked bootloader to flash the recovery partition (and fastboot drivers on your PC)
- Wether you need root access and usb debugging activated (if busybox is not installed, RecoverX will ask you the permission to install it).
This program have been published on XDA News : Here
Here is the list of supported devices :
Finally, a small preview
Awesome !!! Where is the download link ???
Here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1773227
Nice dude, but what mroe futures does it have besides the Flashtool from Bin4ry and Adroxyde? Is it just the Gui?
But really appreciate - nice! Best for people who are new to flashing and stuff!
One-click- tools FTW!
Nice! I'll test it later... Looks really to use
Thanks guys !!!
Ok guys, in my next version, I will add Xperia Ion CWM recovery and many improvements because I'm preparing a big project !!! Stay tuned !!!

This is just a recovery installer. So nothing else interesting here. Good idea though, if only we have a lot of choices of recovery, so we might need this.
Hey, I never said the program was finished !!! The project had already evolved a lot since the initial release and will continue to evolving a lot because I'm preparing big updates !!!
And if you read the post, you already have the choice between xRecovery and CWM for some devices...
Please, consider my work,
Thank you
Post updated with a new Icon !!!
Enjoy !!!

Dont wont it to sound bad, but why are u bother with this app? FlashToool is very useful so theres no need to create any thing else.
Maybe U should contribute with Bin4ry and Androxyde on their work.
One more thing FlashTool can be used on Windows and Linux so for developers its more interesting.
But wait to see next improvements which are coming soon... I never said the project was finished...
And Flashtool isn't coded in C++
Hi bro .... your recovery show ..... device not connected .....
even I connected my x10 with computer
any solution?
please
Have you activated USB debugging in "Settings" and have your phone drivers correctly installed on your computer ???
RecoverX works for my device ! Thanks !
The RecoverX project is now open to all android devices and all recoveries !!!
See the first post for details
Enjoy

[Q] Looking for "permissions" control solution/app

Hi,
Total noob here. Just came from Blackberry 2 days ago and my head is about to explode with all i have learned about rooting, bootloaders etc.
I Got a Galaxy S4-VRUAME7. Rooted it last night.
I am trying to find an app that will allow me to control permissions given to installed apps.
I have tried a few out with not so great results.
LBE reboots my phone (known problem with Jelly-bean)
and a few others i tried that froze (cant remember which)
Is the best option to use a translated chinese version of LBE? like this?
And if so then do i need to install from my desktop following instructions such as these
or is this a better route:
PDroid Privacy Protection which needs a patch. What would I need to know about using this one with my rooted droid?
or....?
Thanks for any suggestions/guidance.
Xposed framework with xprivacy is what u need.. No hassle of patching framework like pdroid but got the same function, probably even more powerful.

thanks! But now my head is really spinning.
Is this my required reading for the night:?
430 pages here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2320783
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=biz.bokhorst.xprivacy.pro

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=43892381&postcount=1703&nocache=1&z=9436779862769084
I would pay a good amount if i was able to just install one app. but i guess that would mean i would have to find something else to do tonight.
Just read xprivacy thread. Reading first page is enough I think. Usually first page of any thread is full of info on howto do things right. Basically what u need to do is root your phone, install xposed installer then install xprivacy.
Ok, I installed the Xprivacy Installer and now I am at this point:

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
When I click the "Download/install Xposed" link I am taken to this post.
From here do I just click on the "....latest.apk" link and it installs?
Do I need to install any other patches? What are the chances of getting into a "boot loop" as i did with LBE ?
I would like to help out however possible so I would buy whatever I can to support this developer. In this case would i install the "XPrivacy Pro enabler" and then also get Xprivacy Pro ? or are they the same thing.
Try asking in xprivacy thread. I haven't got enough experience using xprivacy to guide u through it but asking actual people who actually using it on its dedicated thread would be better.

will do. thanks for the help.
I got XPrivacy Pro Installed and working ! Now i can install worthless aps like facebook on my phone and limit the permissions.
I thought when I left Blackberry 3 days ago that i was done monkeying around to get stuff onto my phone! I was wrong.
If I had posting rights (i think i need to do 10 posts before I can hyperlink) I would write up a description of all it took to do the install. Definitely not easy for a noob to do. The installation consisted of multiple parts/components and instructions were not clear to a noob like me and they were not all on one page.
But it was all a good learning experience which will help with my next hackadroid venture.
thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
Glad to hear that u nailed it at last. Enjoy your secured droid. Probably more secured than berries now

I've had issues with ADB on my OnePlus One too. This guide might help. Skip to Step 3 and you should be able to use the ADB Drivers from the toolkit.
Will this tool format the phone when you unlock it?
Will this work with the OnePlus 2 MM Community build 3.0?
I know TWRP wont work as that still needs to be updated, but the rest of it?
Sir will this toolkit also work for Oneplusone on cm13-Incremental-OTA-Official?
searching everywhere but couldn't find any guide to unlock bootloader on official Cos13.If anybody has successfully unlocked his bootloader on official cm13 then kindly guide the same to me.
Thank You.

Mr.Ak
