This is my first thread for moto g 2nd generation ... previously i did this for micromax a110 canvas 2 now am presenting you various boot logos for our device
Requirements :
1.adb fastboot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317790
2.download the required boot logo from the link
3.reboot to boot loader
4.flash the boot logo by following commands

I've made a flashable zip out of the nexus.bin using ZIPme app, but it doesn't flash, though TWRP says it was successfully flashed... any hint about the issue?

How to install
1) Download the file.
2) Copy it to SDcard.
3) Using Root Explorer, goto /sdcard and copy bootanimation.zip(the downloaded file).
4) Goto /system/media/, mount it in r/w mode. Then paste it there.
5) Change permissions as below.

First rename the downloaded file as "bootanimation.zip" then paste it at system/media by using root explorer. change the permission as r-w--r--r

first install these attached file with new boot sound in recovery mode...
then u can replace any bootanimation...

just need some touchup for marshmallow image and android its showing a black shadow..

i think if you had taken the backup of your original stock rom on that zip file you will find the bootanimation.zip in system/media/bootanimation.zip
if you not find then tell me i will upload for you

yes, it just flash your splash, and will not be removed even you flash another rom and wipe all the data.

Oh you can a fastboot package and unpack it. Find a file called ''splash.img'' that's it.

But they are pretty easy to install using fastboot and the .bin file provided in the original post.
Edit oh shoot I forgot to upload the zip file containing the .bin files.

So it seems like to be able to flash it using a zip file in like twrp I would need to extract the kernel and stuff as the logo.bin file is in the kernel and not located on the accessible storage. So with a bit of tinkering of the kernel I might be able to make it work.
