Great build, thanks.
I'm experiencing one major issue though:
- Youtube/videos has the dreaded "There was a problem while playing, Touch to retry" error and won't play videos unless I reboot the tablet. This was a known issue in 5.0 but apparently was fixed in 5.1. Is there a fix for this?

@ rcstar6696
i have downloaded the TWRP windy version from the startthread
and do this in fastboot:
- fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
now i have in the recovery a black screen with no recovery
then i do this
- fastboot erase recovery
- fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
with the same resolution. What going wrong?

I had the same problem with the black screen and no recovery, I solved it by installing CWM from this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2708194
I guess it doesn't work with lollipop, but at least you get a working recovery back

Dont use TWRP
In TWRP ,
If you have accepted latest OTA system update, your phone may be in infinite boot loop : during normal boot process, it reboots automatically after less than one minute.
This comes from the fact that TWRP doesn't handle properly the upgrade process. To solve the problem, you phone just need to get back the stock recovery to let the upgrade process run. You'll then be able to flash back latest TWRP recovery.
In CWM no such problem
CWM issues and switching to TWRP
Hi,
I have 2 issues with CWM 6.0.5.0 on my xt1019.
1. I cannot create a backup. I get the error: "Error while backing up boot image!"
2. When leaving CWM, I get this message: "Root access possibly lost. Fix?". I tested my root access with Root Checker and it says that root is enabled and fine.
After Googling these errors, it seems like the best solution is to install TWRP.
Question: Can I flash TWRP using CWM? Or, should I go back and flash TWRP with Fastboot?
Thanks.

Galaxy Light - metropcs - latest kernel
Hi,
I've followed the directions in the thread and my phone does not seem to be flashing the recovery. I'm using Odin 3.1 with the recovery file linked in the post. Odin completes and says PASS, but when I reboot the phone into recovery, it still looks like the stock recovery. I go ahead and try to install Chain's SU file from the SD card and I get an error about file or signature verification, then the phone reboots to the home screen and runs as if no recovery/root was ever attempted. I saw another user said the latest kernel was indeed flashable, however my experience so far is to the contrary.

Not working !!!!!!
@ashwin007 @G33Kparineeti
Hey guys just flashed TWRP 2.8.2.0 for condor by @ashwin on my unrooted xt1022 running stock 4.4.4.
Found out that
- Phone boots into recovery fine.
What does not work
x In MOUNT TAB it does not show any partitions.
x Shows that no os installed (even though there is stock 4.4.4 on it).Rebooted into stock just
fine and tried rebooting into recovery again to see the same error.
After this i flashed TWRP 2.8.2.0 by @#buzz and then TWRP 2.7.1.0 in this thread by @cybojenix and both worked fine !!!!!
Please see to this buddy !!!!!!?
TWRP version?
Hi there, I'm new to XDA. I've been using TWRP from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=57303084&postcount=239 by @ashwin007 and everything's working perfect. The only question I've got is that while the file says it v2.8.1.0, when I go to the recovery the menu on top shows its v2.8.2.0!
Is there anyway I can take screenshots in recovery? I'd have posted the screens then. Did anyone else notice this? I swear I've flashed the correct version and to check this I've flashed the different versions multiple times. Still flashing this shows v2.8.2.0!
Error during backup
Hi,
I just switched from CWM to TWRP because on CWM I was getting an error trying to make a backup.
Now, on TWRP, I am also getting an error while trying to make a backup:
Code:
Unable to create folder: /data/media/0/TWRP
I am using v2.7.1.0 on my rooted xt1019.
Is this a permissions thing?
Thanks.

I am no longer getting this error after installing the TWRP Manager App and running its SC Card Patch. I am assuming that fixed the issue.
I am now getting a 'not enough space' error which is legit. I need to get an external SD Card and direct the backup there.
Solved
I got an external SD card and successfully made a back with TWRP. Yay! :highfive:

download twrp 2.8.5.0 from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/mot...recovery-twrp-2-8-2-0-touch-recovery-t2971601
and use fastboot to install recovery instead of twrp manager
I unlocked my Moto G (XT1033 with Lollipop ) bootloader and Installed TWRP recovery and everything was smooth until I tried for a Nandroid backup (the storage space was little low).
After the backup i tried for the reboot my moto just showing bootloader unlocked warning only.i tried fast boot using the power key +volume down key it shows the AP Fastboot flash Mode (s). Recovery option shows team win logo for 3-4 seconds and then the unlocked bootloader message and loops.only barcode option works.
then i dig through XDA Forum n tried custom recovery using ADB and fastboot tool.
installed moto usb drivers and tried to connect using usb cable as my device in fastboot flash mode my win 10 detects my phone as fastboot falcon s .but when i tried adb/fast boot commands it just shows waiting for device or null no device detected .
what should i do .please help ..
my local serviceman says after seeking motorola forum support(as he said) IC may be damaged.
if like that motherboard changing will be the only option ihave left??

This thread was made for persons looking for custom roms for the Alcatel Pop C2
I found a custom rom for the Alcatel Pop C3 4033x and this phone has the exact same specs as the Alcatel Pop C2 4032a. This is a guide on how to install the rom and report any bugs you may have with the rom other than the ones that are already there.
NOTE: I DID NOT MAKE THIS ROM I'M JUST SHARING IT HERE. The person who created the rom is from the miui forum and you can visit that forum and thank him here.

HOW TO INSTALL
REQUIREMENTS:
Rooted Phone
ADB Drivers
Custom Recovery
Make a backup first in case anything happens.
Download the rom and gapps from the download section and place it somewhere on your computer.
Install a custom recovery, i would recommend using the Carliv Touch Recovery 2.7 or any recovery that can install zip from sideload. YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE A RECOVERY WITH THIS FEATURE IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE ANY DATA( INTERNAL STORAGE). ALSO DO NOT INSTALL USING SDCARD EITHER!
Place the rom in the same folder where it is possible to use ADB, what i did was allow ADB to work from anywhere on the PC. You can do that here if you wish.
Go to recovery by either using the button method or use some app to go to recovery. Do a factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache.
Go to install zip then install zip from sideload.
Open the command window from the folder where your rom is by pressing shift then right click if you are able to run ADB from anywhere OR doing it the other way open the command window from the folder where the ADB is.
Type in the command window: adb drivers
then adb sideload and the name of the rom
It will start loading and sending the rom to your phone.
Do the same for the gapps.
A trick when at the sideload step, press the first two letters of the rom name and then press tab and it will fill out the rest of the letters.
DOWNLOADSROM
Gapps- Download other google apps from the playstore
SCREENSHOTS- The emergency calls only are there because i did not have a sim in the phone but it can work with a sim :good:

If (and only if) you unlocked the bootloader, install a flash app, such as Flasify or Rashr, from Play Store and then flash the .img file.

Open an adb shell or a terminal emulator on the phone (with root privileges, of course) and write reboot recovery, then enter. Otherwise, you can download Quick Boot from play store and choose the recovery option.
If you see the PhilZ recovery instead of the stock 3e one, you're gone.
If you want to access the recovery when the phone is off, you have to do the factory reset process: keep pressed power and volume down. When you see the LG logo, release the power button (keeping pressed vol down) and then keep it pressed again until you see the factory reset menu. Using volume and power keys, start the reset process and you will redirect to the custom recovery. :good:
