Would really like to give your app a try, but there is no trial version avaiable
... which also makes this thread a violation of the rules. Unpaid advertising for paid products is *not* an acceptable use of this forum! I get that the OP is new and all; that is not an excuse though! READ THE RULES, PEOPLE!
... sigh, carry on. I don't even know why I bother checking this forum section anymore, mostly just commercial spam.
can you please offer a free trail version?
Or just post the sideloadable .XAP here... did I miss some memo stating that XDA rules just don't apply in this sub-forum? Not that posting the XAP is required, but it's one of the easy ways to come down on the right side of the mods...

OnePlus 2 phone Giveaway!

Here is your chance to win a OnePlus two phone. Enter at the link below or here
Mod edit: Link removed
There is only 1 week left and still not that many entries so far, so odds are quite good.
I do hope the invites wont be so difficult and it'll be easier to get our hands on one of these phones. But who knows, may wait till later this fall until the supposed rumored 2nd version rolls out.
We do not condone device giveaways or other activities that require users to participate in third-party forums.

What used phone to buy for my wife?

Hello everyone my wife has an iphone 3gs for 6 years. He began to tire at the application level and speed.
I'm looking for her a used phone. She does not want it too big. (the phone )
Me I want something of quality and powerful enough.
I have no knowledge in small phones. Does the Samsung S5 mini is a good choice?
Please tell me the obvious I really do not know the small models.
A big thank you to those who will take a few minutes to answer.
Hi there,
There are threads already established that are devoted to discussions about devices, please read, and if necessary, repost your question in one of these threads: The what should I buy thread or the The Device Suggestion Thread or the The Device Comparison Thread.
There are also several other discussion threads that you probably should review to help you. They are What phone do you wish you had? or
The Worst Android Device That You've Ever Had & Why or even this place that talks about The best phone you ever owned.
I will have to close this one. Thanks for understanding.

Brief Survey -- How many of you like your device?

Hi all,
I recently conducted a user satisfaction survey for the Oneplus 5 to see how the majority of owners feel about their device. The results (linked below) were very interesting, and showed that what we see in the news often differs greatly from what device owners actually think.
Anyway, I received several requests to conduct a similar survey for the G6, so here it is. It should only take about a minute. Thank you in advance to those who participate, and I will be sure to post here again once I have the results.

App idea, where to start or right place to post?, help a newbie.

Im Hoping that this is the right place to post this if not please let me know and I will gladly move.
I will just start with some background info on how the idea formed. I bought a new laptop and after spending $1000, I wanted a case to protect it. I spent 3 days searching laptop cases and each time I found a case I thought I liked, I wanted to read the reviews from people who have already purchased and used it.
Well, one site that sold that case had no reviews, 2nd site (same case) had one review, 3rd site had 4-5 reviews. Then there are company's who review the cases as well, but Im not sure if I should trust those because they might or probably are being paid to say good things about it.
After 3 days of going site to site to read reviews on multiple different cases, I was frustrated. But I realized that the process is the same no matter what item Im looking for.
So my idea is to create an app, when opened, a person can type in the name of the item that they are looking for then post a review of it, or read through the reviews that other people may have posted, if no reviews have been posted the person can either post one themselves if they have the item during which they could post pictures of the item to accompany their review, or they can post a request for reviews of the item they are searching, which people can see at the bottom of the initial page below the search which requests scroll through. and above the search would be a scroll of recently reviewed items.
So its basically an app for consumers to post and/or read reviews of items they have or are interested in purchasing.
This idea now being spelled out, the only other thing I have is a name for it, and thats it. So... how would I go about to creating such a monstrosity. I have no knowledge on coding, so please use layman words.
Im willing to do the work and learn but I don't even know where to start, do I need software, hardware? I have not the faintest idea.. Please any help would be appreciated. Thank you

You need to learn Android Studio and Java Programming Language.
Android Studio is a software for developing android apps.
As to learning Java, I recommend that you use SoloLearn android app.
It contains tutorials for learning programming languages.
