Pure Car mount

Does anyone know if I can use a international diamond 2 car mount on my att Pure? How different are the case deimensions? I'm thinking the rounded corners on the pure are no the same as the square looking ones of GSM in pics but can't tell for sure.

Lots of these for cheap from Hong Kong. Looking for an active or passive holder designed for the Pure so I' don't have the retractable sides that are so bulky on the universal fits.
Pure (ATT) = CompactV (TMob) right?
I have this one and am pretty happy with it.
The extUSB-cap needs to be opened before sliding the phone into the mount - but I can (or have to) live with that...
Take a look on Brodit. 5 different setups for your device... (You can choose English on top.)

Bought one for my Pure, it's just a little too big, I think it's the rounded corners on the Pure that makes it so.

go to verizon, get lg versa holder. perfect fit for $5
if you want to charge, you'd need to cut out a part of bottom molding.
Another one is a seidio model for bb pearl, but one that fits pearl in a seidio case (one with no case is too narrow).

$7.21 case for Amazon Prime members

If you are looking for an inexpensive case that will give you good protection, I had bought this case for a netbook but discovered it works pretty well for the G-tab. It is memory foam padded. It has two clear vinyl straps that will hold the bottom of the G-tab in place and which allow you to still view the screen. It can actually function as a stand in landscape mode but it can't handle more than light taps this way unless the back is propped against something. I have attached a couple pictures.
Price is $7.21 shipped if you have amazon prime and $9.20 if you buy from third party amazon seller Senyx.
Outer Dimensions: 11-3/4" by 8-1/2"
Inner Dimensions 11" x 7-3/4".
link: http://www.amazon.com/Booklet-Netbo...1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1295738870&sr=1-1
$4.21 for similarly sized cases of the same brand
The following two cases are cheaper ($4.21) and have the same dimensions (11 x 7.75 x 1 inner compartment and 11.2 x 8 x 1 inches outer shell) despite being marketed for smaller sizes netbooks, they are same brand (case crown) and provided by same seller (fulfilled by amazon as well).

8.9" Slim Case For Acer Netbooks - Nylon Gray
I have ordered the above two, one for the GTab and one for a netbook
Thanks for tip OP.
From the single review of 8.9" case:
I accidentally browsed this netbook case and though it says it's for 8.9" netbooks, I was able to fit my 10.1" netbook comfortably.

sanvara: can you please confirm your amazon case dimensions ? Thank you in advance.
Good research. I didn't consider those since they seemed to be made for smaller netbooks. When I bought the case above a couple months ago it was on sale for $4.21 shipped too!
The outer dimensions on the case I have are 11-3/4" by 8-1/2" and inner 11" x 7-3/4". There is a fairly thick ring of padding around the edges which accounts for the difference between the outer and inner dimensions.
I personally like black and the slim design version over the double pouch for daily use but I may pick up the double pouch for when I want to carry the power cord somewhere.

I got mine the other day. It fits perfectly. The only thing to be careful of is remember the the "top" of the case is actually the "bottom." I already opened it once and forgot the the straps to hold it in are up by the handles. Luckily, I caught the tab before it fell out.
But I've already used the case to take the tablet on the road and it works and stands great. Watched a movie with absolutely no issue at all in this. I'm thinking about ordering the other one aasoror listed as well for the extra pouch for accessories as the tablet is taking flight this week.
Great find on these guys!
Thanks to both of you!

I looked at my local sears. They have the EXACT SAME case in the store, under the Case Logic brand for $15. But if you buy the G tab case online, it's currently under $5.00. Honestly, I think you're insane NOT to get this case for the price!
Agreed and its padded and the quality is good.

I just received this case. It doesn't fit. The inner dimensions are roughly: 9.5 x 7.25 inches. The G tab is roughly: 10.5 x 6.75 inches. So the case is about an inch too.
aasoror, where did you find the dimensions when you searched. They aren't listed in Amazon's page. Maybe they sent the wrong one?

Thanks more letting us know it doesn't fit. I almost ordered one. I wouldn't have thought it would fit since it's marketed for a 9" netbook.
The case I posted actually has a bit of room. When my case with the keyboard comes I'm going to see it it fits in there, I think it will.

Recieved my Amazon case today. Fits well and is a good deal for the $7
I am thinking about purchasing a basic neoprene sleeve to put my G-Tablet in. I don't need a normal case, as I have a custom carbon fiber weave on the back, and prefer holding it without a case. I just need something to protect it while it is in my book-bag. I was thinking about the following sleeve, but am worried about the size.
(apologise for the lack of proper link, I don't post very often)

It lists for 10 inch netbooks, and its listed dimension is 11x8.25, which theoretically should work for the tablet. What do you guys think? There are similar sleeves for 12 inch netbooks, but I don't want the tablet sliding around inside too much.

[Q] Accessories

I'm looking to buy a kickstand case, and ebay has a few nice one's for cheap. They are all listed for Intl' version, i9300 and I was wondering if these phones were EXACTLY the same.
I don't want a case to mostly fit, or somewhat fit, or not fit. I would like to buy a case for it, but don't see Sprint versions out there yet, and I don't want to waste money.
Thanks for the feedback,
-Xont!c
Otterbox or seidio or bodyglove make top notch cases. If you get something that has a beltclip holster that usually doubles as a kickstand.

Yes all phones are the same with international version having 1GB or ram with a quad core and the us version has 2 GB or ram with a dual core and the only differences within the us versions is the carrier logo and their apps as far as the size they all came off the same assembly line the same

Will S6 case fit on S7?

The bodies look so similar. I'm wondering if my S6 cases will fit on the S7? Or if anyone has purchased an S7 case that fits on an S6 would be nice to hear as well. I own several cases for my S6 that are headed for the trash can if they don't fit.
i am curious as well. i am in the same situation.
I don't think cases will fit because the dimensions are slightly different (+ there are edges on the back).
The S7 is about 1 mm thicker, but also 1mm less in height and width.
I am wondering whether pouches would still be good for it though since they probably can adapt if the space the phone takes as a whole is the same.

No, the cases wont fit them as the dimensions are different. Try a custom leather case from Story Leather, theyre custom made leather cases
I would think not especially because of the camera being different.
Just to update. I received my Galaxy S7 yesterday and S6 cases are not compatible. The speaker, microphone, and headphone jack are in different locations. Along with the phone itself being slightly thicker than the S6. Nice phone though!
i have a mophie and mine fits but the camera is right on the cut out point . phone charges and everything ..ill post pics soon
It really depends on the case. I just got s7 and I had s6 previously - some of the cases fit with no problem.

Seriously, they are not the same. The dimension of the S7 case is 9 x 5 x 0.4 inches. S6's dimension is 6.8 x 3.5 x 0.8 inches.
But i think they could be mounted forcibly. S6 and S7 have the same location of earphone slot, the usb slot and the camera lens.

I don't know how you're going to forcibly fit a 9" tall s7 into a 6.8" tall s6's case, but good luck!
it almost fit ,but the buttons are a little bit mismatch
so you need to make a decision tho

Haha. I know i will get a humour reply like this. Actually i checked the dimension on Amazon and i found it different in different listings. Some say it's 6.8 x 5 x 0.4, some say it's 8 x 5 x 0.4.
Anyway S6 and S7 have almost the same dimension so i put a 'forcibly' barely in my last reply.
I have an s6 hard case on order, it'll probably need some trimming with a knife, i'll update when i get it.

Hi, may we see the pic of it ? Thanks.
I had a Spigen Neo Hybrid case for my S6 and it 'fit' on the S7. I say 'fit' because it mostly worked. But the camera area wasn't right and the side buttons were just slightly off. I only used it because they hadn't come out with their S7 model yet. I've since made the switch.
I'll take your s6 cases. Hook me [email protected]
I just upgraded to an S7 and the only S6 case I was able to use is the one that Samsung sold for the S6 that basically just clips around the four corners. I like that one because it leaves the sides clear without any lip to get in the way. The others wouldn't fit due to the slightly different shape and the ports are not lined up. My clip case doesn't line up perfect either but it works for now. Meh.
Nothing that a sharp xacto knife can't help you achieve. Did that with two different cases and they both work. Ghetto but they work. The power button doesn't hit full on, but if you're able to do it sideways it works fine. Good enough until you find a case that you fall in love, if not keep doing it sideways...

Pen replacement

Does anyone have suggestions for buying another pen? I've seen them for $30 & $60. Sort of pricey.
Sent from my SM-T830 using Tapatalk
You can get cheap ones on eBay or Amazon. They are just cheap Wacom ones. But they aren't as precise and seem to track about 2mm before the point
Actually, I had an old pen with the my note 4 (phone) and it works fine with the tab s4. I have one in my bag and one on my desk. it is just smaller.
The Pen from my Galaxy Note 2014 Edition also works. The tip is smaller. It was narrow bodied to fit in a recess in the tablet body, works fine, but is uncomfortable to use compared to the bulkier pen that came with the Tab S4. Not something I noticed with the old tablet.
