This right here makes me want to flash this. Thanks for sharing!

Rocking this with lean kernel! Waiting for trinity!

I almost didn't want to buy a N6 because I knew it would lead to me being a flashaholic again. I've seen TWRP more in the past week than my homescreen! Thanks for feeding my addiction, can't wait to try this baby out. :good:

Sorry if this is a dumb question. But where can I download the gapps?

Has anyone had the issue of the navigation bar home button not working?
Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

it has optional encryption, before people ask. if you are encrypted, itll stay encrypted. if you are decrypted, youll stay decrypted. if you want to decrypt, flash everything as needed, then format data. this will wipe your storage clean. so flash first, then format, or you wont be left with anything to flash

Thank you for bringing your ROM to this device. I have always loved your work Rascarlo. In fact, I still run the SaberMod compiled version of your 4.2.2 ROM on my Nexus 10 because it is so perfect

Anyone have any idea why always listening doesn't work across aosp? I haven't seen much about it other than it not working.... I can't even get it to work from any screen

*sigh* Of course it does. There's nothing left for me to try. I've wiped everything but internal storage. I guess I can try re-downloading it...

And buddies, this is the first version based on AOSX. It's more difficult to base it on AOSX than CM. So relax and enjoy the ROM and support devs by providng detailed info on bugs etc. along with steps on reproducing it.
And sorry for spam.

OMG, a rastapop ROM here.. This is the happiest day of my N9 short life so far.
I tried building from rascarlo's git some time ago and miserably failed. I don't have any free time at the moment and I stopped trying after a few attempts... My vm is still installed and the repo is still synced with some 5.0.1 tag... Now a fully working rom is here. What a great day for a rascarlo's fan.
Awesome to see rastapop on nexus 9 !
Really nice to get some Rasta for the N9!
Wouldn't 64 bit GAPPs be necessary for flounder? Like these?

Ah your right. I've always used the generic 32 bit and it works fine but probably best to have the 64. I'll update the op thanks!

I'd like know as well, if there are any of the rasta flavors that are included or if it is just the basics.
Also, is it safe to assume that encryption is enabled?
Ah, crap. I guess it doesn't really matter. Gonna flash it anyway and find out. Loved rasta on my n10 and n7. Thank you so much for bring it to our device.
Congratulations. And thanks for the love.
You forgot shamu in first post
I think you didn't use the bluetooth fix ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/nex...r-volantis-t2933831/post57926244#post57926244 ) for this build, right?
I can't turn it on...
Other than that it's running as any rasta should run: smoothly and with much jah love.

I can't seem to modify system partition. SuperSU detected root permission and I allowed it, but it seems system is read-only. Perhaps it may be rectified in a later build?

I just mounted my /system as r/w and modified my build.prop with the text editor that comes with root explorer, so that's not really a rom issue...
Is your supersu binary updated?

I'm using the latest SuperSU from CF. 2.45. I have also abandoned permissions and tried again, only to have no success. Maybe I need to reflash. I'll post later regarding my situation.

Really weird.
I flashed an old 2.37 zip of SU from CF after flashing the rom and gapps, then let the SU app tell me I needed to update the binary, and rebooted after that update. It's working ok for me this way.

FAQ
Q) No SD bug after flashing build?.
A)Run these commands in terminal emulator:
su
restorecon -FR /data/media/0
Q)cm12 themes fails to install.
A)Use those kernels having 'themes' added in service_contexts.
Or use a kernel that comes in 'Any-kernel' format. I use ZEN-KERNEL (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nex...3-10-zen1-dollar-drink-night-bfs-msm-t3062814)

OK, you how have both the coolest avatar and set of rom offerings for this device.
I'm flummoxed.
But the anachronistic creation and last updated dates are icing on the cake (how'd you do that?)...looks like I'm posting whilst you're editing.

Thank you! Downloading now! Was saddened when they closed the other thread and stopped building for shamu.
you sir just made my night/day! i absolutely love this rom! thank you! you kick ass!
Just out of curiosity, will this eventually be RRO Layers or continue with CM Themes? Rom is pretty smooth so far. Thanks again
So happy to see this here. Will flash as soon as I get home. Exactly what I've been looking for.
@VECTUS
Hey,
I'm from the SAOSP dev team. We know it's open source and all, but at least as a courtesy we'd expect you to ask permission before opening a thread that's built over our work.
I also see no mention of the original contributors ( except Banks, who is not even a part of the team anymore ). I don't want to sound rude but I never expected this from a mod.

Yes it supports
Seems to reboot to recovery for some reason. Either it's from leaving phone idle, or maybe the wave/pick up ambient is causing it. Not sure.
What about G camera it supports
