Hi
43MB is a lot for the app.
The sample screenshots are absolut great too look at.
And then, I've clicked on first image after Download: Great feeling! Good job guys.
Again I hate ads on the top. I will uninstall if it goes fullscreen. But if not, it is ok. Those ads will take all the good look of your app
But the keying of images and the photos are great. Also the idea to have image templates in cloud.
How is it about copyright if I make my compilations public?
And why I am not able to select images from my whole picture gallery?
Regards
I will leave it on my phone and rate it 5*

App Development Proposition - "Zusix"

Hi guys, before I begin the pitch to you all I just want to say that I do NOT want to make money off of anyone here and I also do NOT wish to take credit for others work.
I have just started to develop a new Music application which I have named "Zusix" (Zoo Zix). I would love this to be a community made application and thought XDA is the best place for this to occur. So lets get started:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
As you can see I have started on the layout and design of Zusix and have a good idea on the theme I want to use the colours also will change depending on the system theme. I have little knowledge of coding, this is where everyone fits in.
There will be no splash screen for the app and the first page when opening will be the now playing section of the panorama page. This section will display the playing artist, album, song name and will have a play, pause and skip/previous control. When a user taps the album art they will be taken to a now playing screen which will feature the full player screen (below) with the playing artist, album, song and will feature the playing controls and will display the next tracks etc.. below. The user can then swipe to the left to get artist info and maybe related items?
The next part will be the collection viewer, this is on the left of the Now Playing screen on the first panorama page and will be completely built into the first page (hopefully) and should make choosing a new song quicker.
The "Store" panoramic page will include a link to the store app and tiles of featured artists and albums for users to explore and discover.
The History page will contain previously played items - this page can also be allocated to something else im not sure what yet
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, this is what I have so far; I just want to get an idea on who would like to take part, whether people think this is a good idea and some feedback on the design.
Thanks for reading!
Any questions about anything to do with the project just ask, I will be more than happy to try and help.
I have also uploaded the XAP for this project so people can get a feel for the design so far - baring in mind there is no functional use yet, its only a design preview.

Watchmaker Review

I came across an outstanding watch face application called Watchmaker. The tool is easy to use and the support has been outstanding. Watchmaker is very addicting I started making a simple face and slowly kept on adding more refinement to my faces and now have 3 for various activities. Is anyone else using Watchmaker?

Moto 360 Faces Google Drive Folder
Just wanted to share this video I made about how smooth the animation is in WatchMaker vs Facer :

The whole thread is over at the link below, but I figured it was worth noting for people on LG Watch too …

Great app but I'm having trouble selecting an image for a background. Every time I try to pick one or modify an existing one, the app crashes on me straight away. Anyone else with the same issue or know a way to fix it?
Really great app. Do you know where to get more .watch files?

There is a "WatchMaker" community on Google+ that is quite active. They post links to a lot of Watchmaker designs on there.

Designing Your App Icon

Designing Your App Icon
Get an Idea
Alright so you've got your app idea and maybe a basic wireframe layout. You sit there thinking "What is the perfect icon to represent my 'Goat in heat detector app'"? Well let's start by thinking about what is the simplest image that gives some sort of representation of what you're all about. It could be a mascot, a letter, a prop or anything that sounds good to you. For this, we will want a goat engulfed in flames as a play on "Goat in heat". It's clever and tasteful.
Design Guidelines
Once you have an idea, you'll be eager to whip something up in AI. But wait just one second, space cop. There are tools to help you design your icon within Google's material design standards. It's very simple and it will help you make a great looking app icon.
Start by downloading the "Product icons" sticker sheet from here.
Download Icon Sticker Sheet
This will provide you with an outline to design in. Check out this brilliant and quick guide on how to use the icon sticker sheet.

The way that Google lays out their guide is in such a way that you do not have to be very good at graphic design to obtain great results. It's a very simple and fun process.
Inspiration
Ok so you've done all of your reading and know how to make an icon. Now it's time to get inspired! Take some time to look at icons that have been created by others. My favorite place to go is the freebies sections on the MaterialUp website.
MaterialUp Icons
Browse through here and download some of the free icons that are available. You'll find something that will spark your creativity in here for sure.
Now you should have everything you need to create the perfect icon for your Android app. Have fun and post if you have any other tips or resources that you'd like to share!

Adobe Premiere Clip: Best Video Editor For Android

Adobe Premiere ClipI'm not sure how but this app was released and seems to have gone under the radar. Did you know that Adobe Premier was brought to Android on December 22 2015? Well neither did I. Android has been lacking a decent video editor for ages. Most editor apps can only cut together a slideshow set to music. When it comes to the apps that actually have some decent editing functions, they're so littered with ads that they become unusable.
I ran into Premiere Clip that is more or less Adobe Premiere for Android. You can edit your videos, trim your clips, add transitions, add audio and everything you need to create an awesome video. The craziest thing about it is you can save your video to the cloud and open it up with Premiere on your desktop! It will save all of your edits and you'll be able to pick up right where you left off.
While most decent video editing apps will cost you a few bucks or even charge you monthly, Adobe Premiere Clip is entirely free. Considering the power of this app, that is really amazing.
After you've finished your movie you can save it to your phone, upload it to YouTube or send it to Premiere on your desktop.
If you currently use Premiere or you're just looking for a great app to edit videos, you should check this one out.
