Gear Notification Extender, as per gottahavit, is the best one out there.

wish there a whatsapp app for the gear .. that you can replay for the gear without the need of the phone
Notifications for Gear S work only on Android 4.4.x not on 4.3
I have both apps and disabled one and it doesn't allow me to reply In whatsapp at all. Tell me what's going on. . Using note3
uninstall both (with clear cache ) and re install only one! i tried only the PY version and works fine.
I've been using Notifications for Gear S and have had no issues.

I've both apps, too! ...i prefer gottahavit's app
Look in settings, there is an option "prefer keyboard" check it an replay should work

it is now automatically you can reply using whats-app, you don't have to install any 3rd party app

I meant the facebook messenger android app. It should let you reply from your watch as long as you are getting notifications on your phone from messenger.

Now that there are so much options for push messages in the new facebook app and the messenger was integrated, I thought that the push messages would finally work. But they don't. Is there something I have to set up for it to work?
I mean what the hell is so difficult to make that feature work? I don't get any notifications for new messages, not to mention about any friend requests, likes etc.
Do other apps' push notifications work well for you?

Yes, this problem only exists for the facebook app! The messenger app does work fine though.

well fb app is a crap,but ive got on my phone too an it works ,all of them check ur settings,an if unsure uninstall an reinstall

Did you ever log into your fb account with a blackberry? Because that seems to activate push notifications somehow.
Check your phones settings. Settings > Accounts & Sync.
Check your push frequency within the Facebook Application. Unsure of where it is. I deleted the application all together. Too much of a battery drain. Good luck

Yup, pretty much. I did this using my sister's blackberry and push notifications worked fine afterwards.

What other apps can you suggest? The latest Facebook sucks, it shows that I have new messages but it doesn't show the message itself, only from browser.

How can I reset a default app action on my G Watch?
I have Keep and Evernote for making notes, and the first time I made a note he asked me wich one I wanted to use. But I can't find a way to reset this preference again..

You have to change it on the phone in the wear app. If you can't change it there reinstall Evernote, then it should ask again

As most of you know, Facebook chat in its app doesn't work anymore and now you need to install Messenger.
I personally made a simple app to make chat working again in main Facebook app without Messenger.

Hey jinesh, even if package name is the same, digital signature is different. So, will never say update available for Messenger app

i would like to use chomp sms, but when a new sms is coming the default app became the stock messagge apk, if i uninstall via adb, i have trouble or it works? thank.
You should be able to change it in default apps
If i receive an sms the standard app became the default app. I don't if i uninstall the default app by adb, i can use only chomp sms.....
