[Q] Having troubles with ADB on LG Optimus F3 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I cannot seem to get this device to be detected on adb, it's my first time working with anything above 2.3.6. so I'm trying to use Motochopper to root the darn thing. I installed the LGE Drivers, I have ADB already installed and ready to go, but for whatever reason it will not detect my device. I booted into Ubuntu to see if it would detect it there, and it did, but the root script I used didn't seem to do the trick, it installed superuser but no SU binary. Any help would be appreciated.

[Q] Having trouble installing adb drivers for hero on windows 7

I've just recently rooted my CDMA Hero using the unrevoked method and I had a lot of trouble figuring it out. I some how got the adb drivers to install on my phone (I was so annoyed by the time they installed I wasn't even paying attention when they did) but now they have disappeared (I think because I downgraded the phone to get it out of a booting screen loop) and I can't get them to re install no matter what I do. Im running on windows 7 64 bit and even when the bubble pops up and says that new drivers are installing when I go to type in
Code:
adb devices
it tells me that no internal or external paths can be found. Any tips for installing these would be greatful. I want to still use adb in the future.
Yeah nevermind. I was charging my phone via computer and an installing drivers bubble just so happened to pop up after I had been tinkering with loading themes. Figured I'd go ahead and give a shot to see if it was the drivers I needed turns out it was.
No idea what really went down but I'm glad i got adb working properly lets hope it's more permanent

Trouble going from insecure to full root

I can't seem to work ADB or anything like that, I've read most of the threads on here and tried to follow numerous tutorials and this is my first android phone.
I've enabled USB Debugging, however when I run install.bat with superuser.apk in the same folder it just tells me that there is no device found, not sure what to do
-thanks
I had a similar issue. Easiest thing to do is install omega .
Make a back up of your stock Rom first then flash omega without wiping your data.
It has full root built in

Your problem is you need to run adb start-server in a terminal in the sdk/platform folder.
It needs to start so the install bat can talk to the phone.
Had the same issue yesterday in my case there was a strange problem with the drivers. All was installed fine i could see ADB device in device manager however adb did not se the device.
Finally installed kies on a computer that never had anything installed like mobile phones etc than run install.bat and all was ok.it took around 15 sec to find the phone and drivers and finish all the rooting operations.
Still dont know what kind of a driver conflict is it...Some report that reinstalling kies helps but not in my case.
If u can try on another computer.

[Q] Rooting ZTE Kis problem.

Hello. I've been trying to root my ZTE Kis since yesterday, and I keep failing. I've tried rooting programs like SuperOneClick, UnlockRoot, etc. and the method with Android SDK/installing CWM via command prompt.
There is one problem, though. When trying to install ClockWorkMod, it gets stuck on "waiting for device" - the same happens when using SuperOneClick. UnlockRoot just says that it couldn't get shell access.
I think it might be a driver issue, but I've installed and reinstalled them many times, tried doing it on 3 computers (2xWinXP, Win7) and still - doesn't work. I really need to root, because there is so much bloatware on my phone and it takes loads of RAM, almost making my device unusable and very slow. Please help...

[Q] Unable to root this tablet

Hi everyone
I am still trying to root my Trio stealth g2 tablet. I need to update the OS on it to something newer that can use google play and the apps I have but first comes rooting probably.
Root with Restore by Bin4ry has been used, yet all it says is "please connect Device...", along with superoneclick but all it does is freeze up and stops responding every time.
I tried something called framaroot but it ended up being fake and started putting icons on my tablet so I am doing a factory reset.
Any help is appreciated. I have no idea what to do next.
Same thing when I tried it with my linux laptop, nothing happened
I got the bin4ry rooting process working with wine on Linux but it still says to connect a tablet by usb.
The tablet does show up now on the windows computer if I use a different cord. And I downloaded the driver from the adbdriverinstaller.exe but the rooting software still does not work.
