Help recover phone. - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I unfortinately formated system in clockworkmod touch recovery. Afterwards phone gets stuck at sony logo when i power on the phone. Am able to boot into fastboot and flashmode using key combinations but cant enter into the clockworkmod with key combinations as i used to do before the system format. However, i unlocked my bootloader and rooted the device before i had this problem. As a result, am not able to get sony pc companion to repair my phone. I tried flashtool but then upon flashing, it asks me to enable usb debug mode and am not able to enable debud mode since the phone doesnt boot past the sony logo.
I will appreaciate it greatly if anyobe can help me get my cute phone out of this situation

[Q] Samsung recovery problem ( Help fast :s )

Hi. I'm new to here so please i appreciate any help you can give .
So the story is... I own a samsung galaxy gio S5660 (i have Android 2.2.1 ) and i wanted to flash a custom rom on it. Well i forgot that i had to root it, so i just flashed the CWM recovery on it and now i cant get into the recovery, the samsung logo just stays. The phone works, it boots up but only not in the recovery mode :s. Also, i cant root from the pc either because i get unknown device, i installed kies, reinstalled the drivers... I get the error : Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). It charges via usb but doesnt connect as storage or something like that :/ i cant figure out what to do. The root programs dont recognize/find the device so am i screwed or what :s. I know i was stupid that i didnt think about the root. I've done the rooting on a tablet many times so i dont know why i forgot to do it :s
Thank you for reading. Hope i get an answer
BUMP BUMP-
I did a factory reset with the code from the phone and now its stuck on the samsung logo :s. It enters download mode and fastboot but the most important problem is that the pc doesnt recognize the device so i cant use odin or any similar program to flash a new recovery on it :s. Is there anything i could do?
I tried reinstalling the drivers multiple times.
I tried on 2 laptops and 1 desktop but it's all the same :S.
BUMP.
Help please
BUMP T_T
jaja
Prepare ODIN with the firmware you want to flash (in my case was Gingerbread 2.3.4) and get it ready to go.
-
Remove battery, wait for a bit. Insert battery again.
-
Flash a recovery with your specific filesystem (EXT4 or RFS)-(If you have EXT4, download ext4 only, don't get ext4+rfs)
-
Enter recovery & Wipe | Format:
System
Data
Cache
Dalvik Cache
Have ODIN ready. Connect phone to PC.
-
Reboot to Download Mode
Hold Volume down + Power + Home button at the same time.
-
At this point Odin should have detected your Galaxy Gio (Yellow rectangle should appear).
-
Insert the Stock Rom or Custom Rom.
-
Click Start button in Odin and wait about 5 min.
-
Reboot and wait

Method 3: using usb jig: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=METM3teG5rI
It's not my fault if you hard brick your phone using this methods.
Thanks for answering, but i cant enter recovery as i mentioned early and also odin doesnt detect my phone in download mode :s. When the samsung logo just stays i plug also the usb in then the pc says it cannot recognize the device and its listed as unknown which i before also mentioned. When i attempt to enter recovery it just also stays at the samsung logo and isnt entering it :s..
Bumpbumppp
Guys i still dont got the answer :c

[Q] Cant even boot into recovery anymore

I've tried holding down the up and down volume keys both separately and together and nothing. I can still access fastboot, but other than that, it's stuck on the "Sony" screen. I tried installing the recovery again (and tried two different recoveries) and it goes through just fine but when I reboot it STILL wont go into the recovery. What can I do?
Anyone? I've tried everything I can think of.
If your getting to the sony logo thats a good sign, it means its not a hard brick
Download and flash a stock ftf with flashtool
Or try recover with sony upgrade tool
http://www.flashtool.net/index.php
Make sure to disable windows driver enforcement ( google it) when u install the driver package included with flashtool for it to work properly

Same problem here.. Got my Xperia Z2 a few days ago, successfully unlocked the bootloader through the official method, but no luck actually getting into recovery mode. Tried getting CWM to work - flashed successfully, but no LED lights up during boot and pressing the volume up/down buttons doesn't help either.. Sad Face.

[Q]

I used to be able to boot into recovery pressing the volume key down, but now nothing seems to work. I exchanged the phone with my father and he just used it as a caller. I got it back yesterday and now I just cant boot into recovery, I remember flashing the stock rom back to it when I gave it to him.
Already tried:
Installing CWM recovery using x-parts.
rom-manager shows cwm and RWRP both installed
Tried flashing the original rom using Sony PC Companion but it also couldn't proceed further into booting my phone in flash mode
Tried every key combination during boot.
I also noticed the green led is flashed for a quick second when plug it into computer with volume down key pressed but it still boots normally.
Please guide me on how to boot into recovery .
my phone:
model: LIVE WITH WALKMAN (WT19i)
rooted:yes
boot loader unlock allowed:yes
presently using:ICS stock rom .587

Sord bricking!

Hi there,
I need your help with my device which I just bricked in a peculiar way...
So, something I flashed was not correct. That resulted in an infinite reboot loop (the logo is shown for half a second and it reboots... endlessly). I just used the volume-up rocker to go into fastboot mode to fix the thing as I usually do. I booted into fastboot and this is where it become weird: I cannot do anything!
If I try to use fastboot continue, the phone reboots endlessly again.
If I try to boot to any img (TWRP or signed recovery or signed boot), the device tells me it cannot because it is locked.
If I try to unlock the bootloader (again, because it was), I am told that I am not allowed to do it. The problem is that I cannot boot into a ROM to go into dev mode to allow this.
If I try to flash things, it obviously doesn't work either as the bootloader is considered locked.
The worse here is that since my phone is "not" hard-bricked, I cannot go into qhsusb_bulk mode and use Qualcomm tools to unbrick the thing.
Can I still do something myself or am I screwed?

Still you can do that hard brick recovery method it will work for sure..switch off your phone completely and try to connect qhsusb mode.
I had no idea that I could force the qhsusb mode. It worked indeed. Damn ARM devices with their non-standard way of doing anything...

Hardbricked my A10, what to do?

A few months ago, I successfully rooted my SM-A105FN/DS with Magisk and Odin. I remember I had TWRP on there, but I think I flashed my phone again, therefore causing my phone to lose TWRP. I recently decided to install the TWRP recovery again, yet I installed the wrong recovery, and after flashing with Flashify and rebooting, I was met with a boot loop. I only saw the Samsung logo with the official software warning and bootloader unlock warning. This would restart constantly until I plugged in my phone, to be met with the logo stuck on the screen. I cannot enter adb, fastboot, Odin mode or recovery mode. My PC doesn't recognise it. I spoke to some Samsung support people online, and they hand no clue whatsoever. I don't want to pay for a repair (I doubt they'd repair it anyways because I have bricked it with a rom and have rooted it). Is it possible to fix it with software, and if not, how can I, and is it possible to replace it with the motherboard of another A10?
you solved that?
i have the same problem, this situation is very nerve wrecking. anyone got a fix on this one?
You cold try to wait until the battety get flat, then you hold vol + and - buttouns then plug into a computer, you should see the download mode
can you open the fastboot mode with volume down + power? it may enables the odin again
