Must say with the stock rom the battery is real bad 30 min of screen with browsing and settings is 20% battery. Standby seams ok but when working the battery will last only 2-3 hours.
So if there is a bigger battery pack or a better ROM let me know. Phone is nice but not worth the money.
Grtz,
Rob
Hi, got it last week, wrote a review which you can find on http://chinese-smartphones.com/iocean-x1-review-great-sub-120-phone/
Can android 5 be installed on IOCEAN X1.
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, maybe they should release a 32gb memory also. lol
This device is going to be released in Singapore tomorrow. Can't wait! They have live sets in the store. Played around with the UI. Dpi seems to be at 320. Everything seems bigger. Things seems quite snappy on one but another is lagging even when navigating thru the interface.. Having mixed feeling about this monster....

I believe that display units have different clock speed. I'm not sure about that though. Well, It is still a wonderful phone and I'm looking forward for your on hand review about that in time Thanks
Regardless, I think I am still going to take the plunge. Love device from sony though most of the time was disappointed by the performance.. Something keeps drawing me back to them.. I know it's conflicting but that's really how I feel. Probably getting it today. The white one. The black looks really plasticky. Stay tune for a short review once I get it today. Hopefully.
Sent from my beloved Z Ultra.
Bummer... They told me to collect only tmr...
Just bought it few hours ago. So far so good, no bugs, no issues, no lags.
I'm truly impressed. :good:
Now I have to wait for the custom roms/kernels heheheh.

I too will purchase the phone, hopefully after a week or so.
The large 6'' screen and sexy looks are to die for!
Also, considering the price tag of around 365 euro, it's cheap!! Excellent price tag, very affordable.
5.1 announced and coming soon. Hopefully will fix the existing bugs.

That's good to know.
I hope there are front and rear glass screen protectors available.
I'm yet to buy the phone, however, I'd like to apply protectors to be on the safe side...

After the fiasco of software problems with the Axon 7 I don't think I would spend a significant sum on one of their phones again.

Yeah that was quite the nightmare, especially with the ban and having a not good last update. Glad GSI's are doing the trick, but I think ZTE should work on their updates a little better.

I hope they survive the Trump administration fiasco of trade wars because their phones are very good.
I got my wife a new Mate 20 recently, as long as it's modern she won't care if it's on Android 10 or 11. She wouldn't have a clue and it will get 10 at least.
I don't care about the bootloader as modern Android is great as long as the OEM doesn't make it with too many bugs (looking crossly at ZTE).
My Axon 7 and Axon 7 Mini are both stock and it doesn't bother me from a feature point of view.
Rooting and modding them was all in the past because the OS was so fragmented and basic. Now it's just not a concern for me.
I'd have a new Huawei right now if needed. The new models coming out from now on are where the problem is, not the pre-existing ones.
