Using micromax canvas nitro a311 using kitkat 4.4.2 lock screen does not lock home button.I have all 3 lock screen modes.In my samsung music duos it was locking home screen button.Is this bug or not.

to lock the phone properly
you need to go into settings > security and then screen lock
then select your type of pattern or pin or however you want to apply it
and then see yourself the home button would not unlock the device
My Micromax Canvas Nitro A310 screen is locked by password which I forget. I am not able to open this phone. I forget its password please suggest me how to start my phone.

Hi guys.. I got my canvas hd upgraded from mmx service centre.. No problem there but after upgrading I m not getting the notification same way as before..
Previously notification showed 7 to 8 msgs of whatsapp at a time. But after upgrading to 4.2.1 only one msg is shown in notification...anyway to get back previous notification style?

I got my canvas hd upgraded at chaitanya teleservices, azadpur.. Near azadpur metro station..
They took 15 mins to take away my phone and just 5-10 mins to upgrade it:thumbup:
But note one thing in case u decide to go azadpur, Google map and even map on just dial is providing wrong location..

Hmm.. I stay in Noida, So, would try here first tomorrow, if nothing worthy here, then will go to azadpur...
I have no idea where is it, SO, would locate the Azadpur metro station in Google Maps. What is the name of Service centre??
You first go to Micromax website..
Go to support, I think!
There they'll ask for your pin code.. Just write it down there and they will provide you the location of your nearest service centre..

After I lock my screen its automaticly switch on like when I press the power one.
Did anyone faced this problem?

Have you tried going to Settings > My device > Lock screen > check/uncheck 'lock instantly with power key' ?

Maybe a sensor is faulty that is why it's waking up the phone. I haven't heard anyone else having this problem

I am facing an issue in my phone .app like Whatsaap, Fb uses Hindi fonts. It shows well on some ROM . But some other ROM include stock jb which I am using , is showing the text going cut from sides.
I tried exposed module for changing DPI , smaller font size for putting it in the right order but none worked. Here posting the screenshots of two of my test phones and the text.

I am facing serious issue that my phone reboots frequently when I press power button to unlock the screen. I had this problem after upgrading to kk4.4.4. I thought it will be resolved in the new update. But now in lollipop also am facing the issue. Now my device is not rooted and only installed WhatsApp, Facebook, telegram, clash of clans and XDA. Stock recovery with lollipop 5.0.2
Rebooting is more in lollipop than KitKat. Is it software problem or hardware problem?
Please help.

Lol doing so will be useless and a good feelings killer, this is a hardware issue, hence it can be seen in kitkat and lollipop and also will be seen in all future updates.
I used to face the same issue as you.
The fix:
Settings -> Security -> Uncheck "Power button instantly locks"
Set Automatically lock to - 5 seconds after sleep.
I tried it already. But no use...

You could try reflashing stock ROM and try using the stock launcher instead of Nova launcher or any other custom launchers and check if the reboots persists.
I have stock ROM and recovery. Had installed google launcher and removed it. No luck.

Hi guys ,
I had my S3 but after a while the touch screen got lag and seems to not response until I press the power button to lock the phone then unlock it so it works normal again (touchscreen I mean ) but the problem shows up again in few minutes or hours or days ..
I tried to change the rom (CM11, Blisspop , back to n00t ) but with no changing
Is this a hardware problem ?? Or u wanna say something ??:thumbup::thumbup:

Wipe and flash stock rom to test.
The problem started with my 4.3 stock rom .
Note : the problem repeats more frequently when the phone heats when i use Facebook for example..
