##W4TCH0UT## said:
Please change your recovery to twrp for doing this. This will work for any lollipop ROM right now, that is not booting or not flashing. First update to latest twrp 2.8.1.0.
If you try to flash the ROM on twrp, it won't flash because of updater-script error. Open the updater-script and remove the following lines:
Code:
assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "xt1052" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "xt1052" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "ghost" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ghost" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "xt1053" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "xt1053" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "ghost_retail" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ghost_retail" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "xt1055" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "xt1055" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "ghost_usc" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ghost_usc" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "xt1056" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "xt1056" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "ghost_sprint" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ghost_sprint" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "xt1058" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "xt1058" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "ghost_att" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ghost_att" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "ghost_rcica" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ghost_rcica" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "xt1060" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "xt1060" || getprop("ro.product.device") == "ghost_verizon" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "ghost_verizon" || abort("This package is for device: xt1052,ghost,xt1053,ghost_retail,xt1055,ghost_usc,xt1056,ghost_sprint,xt1058,ghost_att,ghost_rcica,xt1060,ghost_verizon; this device is " + getprop("ro.product.device") + "."););
After doing the above wipe data/factory resest 3x times. The ROM will boot after 5-10 minutes. Don't panic when the bootanimation is looping. It's not stuck in a bootloop, it's just rr's bootanimation loop.
Also if you don't want to lose your data, just dirty flash the ROM if you're coming from CyanogenMod 12 only. And also flash the gapps you used for flashing cm12 to avoid any fc. But do remove the above lines before dirty flashing also:good:You're good to go:good:

Some Important Instructions and F.A.Q:
This ROM has been tested on my asia retail xt1052.
If the bootanimation is looping don't think it is stuck in a bootloop! That is rr's bootanimation feature. So please don't panic over that. The phone will boot after some minutes and probably more if you've flashed it clean.
1)Can we get XXX feature in this ROM?
A:If the Resurrection Remix team implements it, yes. Or else, no, most probably.
2)How much time until the next upadte?
A:I can't really answer to that, as I compile ROM's in my free time only. So whenever I get time, new builds will be up.
Enjoy the power of RR in your hands!

TIPS
Animation scale
The animation scale is setted to 2x by default, which makes it smooth but a bit slow for some users.
If you prefer your phone to look faster decrease it to 1,5x or 1x.
(Your apps will take the same time to open. But, it will give you that feeling of speed).
Find it in Developer options tab.
Fully disable navbar
Add this line to your build.prop file (located at /system):
Code:
[CENTER]qemu.hw.mainkeys=1[/CENTER]
And reboot.
Personal gov/sched combination
I personally use PegasusQ + SIOPlus

OTA UPDATES
- You will get a notification on your phone when a new version of RR ROM is available. You can download the ROM on your phone through the OTA updater.
- For now, I have made the link to open in a browser as direct links for the ROM zip on file host might not work at times. I might change this to direct downloading of zips in the future.
- Full ROM will be downloaded, not a delta zip.
- I haven't tested flashing the ROM using the automated scripts in the OTA updater. Use them at your own risk. I advice you to open recovery manually and flash the ROM manually. If you do decide to test the OTA updater scripts and it works, share with the community.

I don't have this phone, but @teddytsen tested this for me and he said it was working fine.
He couldn't make a full test (like phone calls for example) because was late in his country. So please, if there's some bugs report it.

I'm saying about screenshots from Ace 2 (i'm mostly talking about ram usage and smoothness).
If only it is easy like this to make CM official ROM xD
i don't get it. what's the difference between an unofficial ROM and an official one?
Not any bug deal but it is cool to have official rom support xD
I see no difference for end user (hmm at least codina user)

Where is the Linear kenel zip?
No linear.zip is released on xda
How works OTA updates?
The rom has a solid backup system. We use the backuptools function and gapps are temporary saved and restored during the flash. If you want to change Gapps you need to wipe (or format) /system before flashing the ROM. In addition: SuperSU is integrated in the zip and we added a script for preserve the linear kernel configuration during the flash. If you already have used Linearboost and you have a custom kernel configuration, the zip will restore it from sdcard (don't wipe all your data).
Can you split the kernel?
No, we can't. Linear is the engine of the rom. Feel free to flash what you prefer, remember to delete 99linear in /system/etc/init.d before.
What about request?
Request will be ignored. Is the new way....

LINEAR CONFIGURATION (for Linear kernel):
You can change many parameters with this configuration file located in /etc/linear.conf without using 3rd party applications.
Use a file manager with root permissions, making sure you have permission to read/write and the latest version of busybox.
Note - Applications such as trickster there may be conflicts... use script or app, otherwise any post reporting issue will be ignored. This kernel has mpdecision stock, a touch of boost frequency 1267 MHz, this frequency will be displayed as a minimum in applications such as trickster mod. Minimum frequency is 300 MHz.
If you want to use faux sound app download this zip No_sound.zip to remove sound script in 99linear and to avoid conflicts.
After edit linear.conf to apply changes there're 3 methods available:
1 - reboot device
2 - install a file manager with run script feature as root browser, go to directory /etc/init.d and open (as a script) 99linear.
3 - Android terminal emulator and type these commands:
Code:
su
./etc/init.d/99linear
To verify configuration options open log file in /data/local/tmp/linear.log
OPTIONS:
CPU Governor
i/o Scheduler
Readahead Buffer Size
TCP congestion
Vibration
Sweep2wake Sweep2sleep - 0 to disable sweep2wake / 1 to enable sweep2wake and sweep2sleep / 2 to enable sweep2sleep only
Doubletap2Wake - 0 to disable doubletap2wake / 1 to enable doubletap2wake bottom / 2 to enabled doubletap2wake fullscreen
Power Key Toggles S2W/DT2W - 1 to disable s2w and dt2w with the power button turning the screen off

Ho yes please if you can share me the Launcher 3 apk, I want to try your rom. I know the launcher from the Playstore ( I have tried a lot of them ) but I prefere the Launcher3 or Trebuchet on CM11. So I wait your link....:good:
I know it's early but I thought I'd post battery results from my latest cycle.
Linearboost release candidate from just before this public release. I flashed the full version of Linear Kernel, but the version of Linear kernel that comes with Linearboost is awesome and if it had 1 or 2 specific features I like I would use it.
Stock kernel settings (2265 Max, 300 Min, MPD on, cubic cfq 128, default voltages). Wifi, data always on, everything always synced. High accuracy location, location history and reporting always on. Same settings overnight. Screen brightness was a mix of stock auto brightness and manual control when stock auto brightness is too bright.
This cycle included 2 overnights, lots of walking around the neighborhood, and 1 commute to work so lots of location wakelocks.

Hi @Raghu varma
Thanks for sharing this ROM here. I just installed it on my Nokia 6.1 device using the listed instructions, however, there's a major problem that I am facing - and it's with my Wi-Fi.
The ROM doesn't detect my Wi-Fi connection., no matter what I do. All other devices on my network are detecting it fine.
I even flashed Magisk zip file via TWRP (as I read somewhere, that it solves the problem), but seems like - it's a No-go in my case.
Since, am unable to connect to Wi-Fi, I fail to install any application, & proceed with other tasks at hand (that require Wi-Fi).
Can you please assist here on priority & help me determine as to what could be the problem?
Awaiting your response.
Cheers,
Manu
Hello. I have just installed it on my Nokia 6.1 PL2, and the camera apps shuts off. In snap chat it is very dark. Only a full restart of the system fixes it for 1 photo. Is there a way to fix it?

Hi. What about the quality of communication, data transfer rate? Extraneous noises and sounds during a conversation that are not on the original rom?

Hmmm...I had no issues with that. Also TWRP is already included in this ROM as far as I know but I actually flashed it manually anyway after flashin the ROM.
Which TWRP did you flash?

Yes,as mentioned TWRP is included in the ROM. Perhaps I left that in the steps mistakenly. I'm honestly not sure what is causing your issue. Perhaps start over if you can by flashing OOS 10 to both slots and then following the steps in the main post. Good luck!

I used the unbrick tool to get back to stock 10.0.5. I will repeat the steps and check again
Just to clarify again - do i need to flash stock rom to slot A, reboot to slot B and flash again?
Sorry if its a bit off topic now..
Thank you!

If you use the unbrick Tool it will flash OOS to both slots.
So you should have OOS on both slots.

Nope...just perform a clean flash and as always do have backup and stuff.
But when switching roms it is recommended to perform a format data as such.
Sourceforge seem like its not downloading the the ROM - any other source on where to download this OS? Thank you.
Hi guys -
I'm having troubles with Safetynet for Magisk and cannot use banking apps, I've tried all possible resolution - flashing the fix file or going into Termus to correct Fingerprint and none of them works.
TIA...
