Voice Recorder - Sprint LG G3

I have the voice recorder as a option when I make a call. I can record the call with no issues but when I try to play it back, it says not compatible. Please help!

Anyone have any ideas??

Mine works from Tweakbox/Xposed. My recorded calls are found and played from the stock voice recorder app.

That's where I got the call recording from - tweaks box. But when go to play it back, it gives me several options including the stock player but none of them play, says incompatible.

I'm not sure how you are accessing your recordings but in your voice recorder app, it's in the menu. Audio type says 3gpp.

I went into the voice recorder app and see my recordings but when I click on it, it's saying internal application error.

It's weird, when I go into the voice recorder app and make a recording, it plays fine and shows how many seconds the recording is but when I record a voice call it shows the length of the recording as 00 and keeps saying internal application error.

I don't know then. Maybe remove the option in Tweakbox, reboot, add it back, reboot again and see if that fixes it. I've never had that issue.

I have done that, unchecked and rebooted, checked again and rebooted and tested but still the same thing, internal application error. This is very frustrating.

Only other thing I can think of is to find the folder where the phone recordings go and see what audio file type it's saving.

Call recording Samsung Galaxy II

Hello guys
I am owning Galaxy S I and can upgrade in June to S II.
I need Call Recorder app to record both sides with good quality.
Could you check please if any application form market records a decent quality calls. If not, do you think it is possible in futuer to have this option on SII
I am using Juve 1.9 on S I and Phone.apk with automatic call recording which works perfect.
Cheers
I would also like to know this.
All call recorder doesn't work. it says your phone doesn't support recording the other party.
I think the kernel will need to be tweaked to allow it like on my HD2
hi im already try totalrecall last v with strategy A the surprise is that other sides part of any call recorded very well but my voice not recorded at all ,i dont know what is the matter im usually hopes to record other side but now with s2 my hope is my voice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hopefully from xda dev can help us ???????????
thanks in advance
u can use totalrecall call recorder, it can record all your incoming & outgoing calls. lot of settings are there which you can set according to ur preference. just go to ipmart-forum & search it in android apps....
i hope it helps ur query.
It is not available now but I think it is very easy to modify the Kernel to be able to record two-way calls. Now I have exams, and there is no recovery menu for the SGS2 yet. But as soon as I finish my exams I will be working on this issue. I should have call recorder on my sgs2
I use "Call recorder" (icon: green android) and it works nicely

I tried TotalRecall and I cant seem to figure out how to make it record both my own voice and the person I'm talking to.
When I make a call it only records the voice of the person I'm talking to.
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Can you check if call recording works when headphones are attached ?
That call recorder app (greenandroid icon) does seem to work with headset plugged in too so it ISNT using the speaker phone to record. Awesome!

Guys can you really record both sides with good quality???
Are the both sides loud enough???
Can someone provide the link to this app pls? Can't find it on the market.
If so I am buying Galaxy II next week!
Cheers
Yes it really works with great quality.
Only thing to note is if you reduce the volume during a call, the recorded volume goes down too but is still clear. And as I said above, it isn't using the mic to record other party from speaker. Its captured directly.

Just search 'callrecorder' by dsoft in the market

And THANK YOU ALL FOR SHARING THIS APP <3

Anything better?
For sure, there must be something better out there, even if it is not free? I used to have Resco on my HD2 and works fine, with several option and the best of all was the ability to rename the audio files based on the recipient/callee's number and hence making it easy to search or archive. Plus there were several configurable options!
Sorry but I am new to Android and with 200.000 apps, this should out there....!

[Q] Problem: +1 added to calls

Having a problem making calls. When I dial via Google Voice, or by clicking a number in my browser, a +1 gets added to the number, and as a consequence I get an error stating the network is busy. If I delete the +1 before dialing I have no problem connecting.
I've played with various options that I found, to no avail.
I'm running Liquid Gingersense 1.6 (happened on 1.5, too), and I honestly can't remember if it happened on my stock 2.2.1
any help?
Try disabling assisted dialing?
Settings---call---assisted dialing. Unchecked the box. Not sure if you have to reboot or not.

Did that..no luck..

Seems its an issue with the Google voice app, since it never does that via my sense dialer. Maybe copy the number, then paste it into a text message or another app that parses, and dial from there?
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
Do you have Facebook syncd up? All contacts imported from Facebook will have +1 and therefore not let you call or text that #
Sent from my ADR6400L using XDA App
Google Voice tends to do that because it treats all calls as international calls. If you log into your google account online you can disable this by making a call online. Your phone will sync your preferences from there.

So just place a call from within GV on my computer? I don't need to change any settings? Can I enter a # to dial or do I need to select one from my contacts?
That's what it looked like when I was on there

That's weird but it worked. Actually, it stills adds 1 but not the +, and that's corrected the issue.

[Q] Icscrewd Call Recording

Does call recording working with Icscrewd 2.0? I can't get it to work. If its working where is it storing the files?
They are usually on the sdcard search for files with .amr extension.
All I seen when I read this thread title was 'I screwed call recording'

I can find call recordings under sound with Icsrewd 1.6 but if I run 2.0, recordings made with 2.0 do not show up. Any suggestions? Thanks

Didnt know you could record a call. Is this a feature in ISCrewed? I am on UnNamed and when I attempt to record my call it says "unable to record during call".
I reflashed 2.0 and now I can find recordings but now the file size will be 0 and of course will not play. Any suggestions? Thanks for everyone's patience

Messaging app slow, crashes after Marshmallow update. Help?

To all the folks with bigger brains than I,
Ever since I updated the phone via LG AirDrive, the stock text messaging app has been slow and crashing a lot. It's not my phone service, as Hangouts works just fine. But once I jump into the stock text messaging app, it eats it and crashes.
I searched this forum, could find nothing specific on this problem, so I submit this to you awesome people.
I've turned off haptic feedback, I've disabled Swiftkey and am using the default keyboard. No difference.
Thank you.
Try to backup via lg backup then factory reset phone and restore again.

I notice a definite lag with the stock messaging app also. But no crashes. It opens very quick, but when I tap a conversation it shows the tap instantly, but it takes about 3 seconds to open it.

Maybe try going into Settings/General/Apps/Messaging then force stop, then click on Storage, Clear cache. Reboot phone and don't touch the phone and maybe wait 15 minutes then reboot phone again and see if it's still lags or freezes.

Same thing is happening to my V10. Started 3 days ago. It starts when I reply to a message. The app crashes and when I relaunch it instantly failed the message and I have to click retry to which then it works. Super annoying though. I did the marshmallow upgrade via air Drive when it was launched also.
Textra FTW
Hey guys, OP here.
Instead of messing with the stock messaging app in Marshmallow, I downloaded and installed Textra. Has all the same functionality as the default messaging app, and unlike the default messaging app, it works flawlessly in Marshmallow on my V10. You get a week of the full program for free when you download and install it from Google Play, and I believe it's $1.99 for an ad-free experience. A great investment, IMHO.
So, TLDR; Textra works where messaging doesn't.
Good luck everyone.
Google messenger seems to work flawless as well for me (now that T-Mobile finally fixed my mms issue)
But yeah Textra is a fine alternative if needed
