Verizon s4 on straight talk - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

So i was wondering has anyone tried to use the galaxy s4 on straight talk? so it would use the CDMA towers. the reason i ask is because i have been using the s3 on straight talk via Verizon towers and straight talk actually sent me a Verizon compatible sim card and literly all i have to do is take the sim card out of my s3 and put it in another galaxy s3 and it automatically transferred my number and activated on its own. so i wonder if its possible to put the sim in a Verizon s4 and use it that way.... And yes it used 4g LTE

bump???

I believe you were told wrong. Verizon doesn't use SIM cards, and I don't think the T-mobile Galaxy S2 gets the right frequencies to get high speed mobile data on ATT's network.
EDIT: my mistake. I guess Verizon DOES use SIM cards now. I didn't know that. But I doubt they use the same frequencies. And also, Verizon's voice network is still a CDMA network, whereas T-mobile's voice network is GSM. Different tech, so you wouldn't get voice.
One more thing: this isn't the forum for the T-mobile Galaxy S2. (that's here)
This is the forum for the GT-I9100, the international version of the Galaxy S2.

Change S4 to a PREPAID phone?

I am in a family plan at the moment..
Wondering if there is a way to turn my Galaxy S4 into a prepaid phone?
I read something somewhere about possibly installing a Prepaid Phone SIM card from AT&T ,
Would that work to change my verizon S4 into a prepaid phone?
if not is there any way to do this?
Thanks.
yes you can totally do that.. the s4 is gsm unlocked so you can use att or tmobile sim cards for pre-paid and get data by setting up your APN

[Q] BAD ESN?

I recently just purchased a tablet from verizon with a data plan. I am wondering if I can take the 4G LTE sim card from my tablet and put it into a verizon Galaxy S4 that has a bad esn. If it works I know that it would only receive LTE and not 3G or voice which is fine because I use google voice and make calls via Voip.
From everything I have researched I think it should work but I am looking for someone that has put a Verizon LTE sim into a verizon phone with a bad esn to verify that it does or does not work.
Thanks in advance!

Sprint to Verizon Galaxy S3

I have a sprint GS3 and I need to be on the Verizon platform...when I got the phone I was under the assumption that it took a sim card.....and it doesn't. Is there any way to make the phone switch to Verizon. The GS3 is a model SPH-L710.
