is it normal?
is there any way that we can received calls and sms from the sim on gears s while connected to any mobile device via bluetooth?
thanks in advance

Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Use mobile networks > Always on
If you leave it set to Auto on/off, it only turns on the mobile network (voice and data) on when you have no Bluetooth connection.

WI-FI connection

Anyone knows the settings for using WI-FI for downloads at home instead of the cell network?
you simply turn on Wifi, and give it your network password so it can connect, and as long as it is connected to WiFi it should not use the cellular network other than to notify you of texts or incoming calls

[Q] Smart Relay

Anyone actually able to get Smart Relay to work?
It's supposed to open the app on the phone automatically when a notification comes on the watch and then you turn on the phone.
While the actions to open the app on the phone works fine when clicked on the Gear, I have been unable to get the Automatic Smart Relay to work.
I have ATT Gear S and Verizon Note 3.
to get smart relay activated properly you must first turn on the mobile data connection on your phone then the mobile data connection on your watch. if the gear s has auto mobile data defaulted, in 60 seconds you will not have to activate it manually.
This method is to get the calls forwarded. Again, to establish the remote connection both phone and watch mobile data connections must be established. If youre connected to wifi the remote connection will not work.
Once call forwarding or remote connection has been established it is not necessary to keep the mobile data connections on either the phone or watch. The remote setup has been worked out through your cellular provider and there isn't a need to keep data on if you don't need them.
This must be done every time to get it working. I'm using both a tmobile bought gear S and note 4. It all works brilliantly.

I don't even have that option in Gear Manager like I had it with my Gear Fit and Galaxy Gear ...

I think OP was asking about something else. Not call forwarding. This is about how the notification causes the app the notification came from to open up on the phone automatically.

Is my phone blocked?

Hi
I have a galaxy alpha device which is allowing me to use the internet but I can't make/receive calls or send/receive text messages.
Does this mean it's network blocked?
Let me ask do you use mobile networks or wi fi
I've been using it on a mobile network

Question Allow all SIMs to use data in calls?

Hello,
My S22+ (Snapdragon, dual sim version) doesn't have the option "Allow all SIMs to use data in calls" in Settings > Connections > Mobile networks. Do you see that item in your phone's Settings?
This is for switching data to use the SIM, which just received a call, so mobile data isn't disconnected when there is a call to any of the SIMs.
