i created this thread because i felt their should be a place were all these great creators (or contributors) of ROMs,Tutorials and other things which we use FOR FREE should be able to go to and feel appreciated for their great contribution which we are all using
so all user of these technologies like me kindly put in a work here to all these great guys lets make them feel happy and appreciated

HTC Gene remains alive and kicking because of all the developers who keep on creating new ROMs with really wonderful features and great utilities.
Sumit, Ankit, Ramersonw, Chayn, Lomlom, Orefov, Mun_rus, NJackal you all have given HTC gene a new lease of life. Hatsoff to all the services you all are providing.
A special mention to Sumit who is putting in great efforts to roll out new and updated ROMs and is helping the newbies /non techies with his valuable inputs.
Not sure why Lomlom and Chayn are missing in action after providing some really useful ROMs.
We have many other members here who continue to make significant contribution through valuable comments ,feedback, opinion and lively discussions. Thanks to all you guys for this excellent forum which is really rocking!!!

I am using a ROm by Krazy and i have never seen my gene like this before. My gene is 1 year old and after getting this rom It looks and works like a new one. Thanx Krazy
once sometime before i had bricked my gene and lose all my courage to flash these excellent rom.but after carefully reading of thread 'step by step guide...' i finally done...want to thanks all those guys for making my life beautiful.and thanks to give immediate reply to my problem....now i have sumit manilla vanilla ultimate...thanks....for that man.i will make donation as i will cimplete my MBBS in one year...thanks a lot

this is truly the saddest day in raph rom developpement history. i wish you good luck and thank you for all the great roms you've released.

no. nobody is forced to do so & it will be always as freeware. There are a lot of better ROM out there & even u can make it urself. A paid things will have a price. Mine is enough if u show a very tiny appreciation to my little effort.
It a kind of pointless of countless sleepless hours to serve someone who dont even need it.

But why delete the threads?
Even though most input to a thread is typically provided by the topic starter/chef, I'd like to think we all put our collective knowledge into it.
To just delete all of that because someone decides to move on feels wrong.
You've got to be ****ting me...
Finally a stable 6.5 and your brain decides it needs a rest . Well you deserve it. You could always opt for a little more arrogance .Something like THIS IS MY ROM, enjoy. I will update WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT.... just an idea

answer : use various flavors of WM6.1 and 6.5

dear all great ROM gurus & other contributors to this great forum
i did this again just to make u feel appreciated again for all the RECENT great work but their seems to be lot of people seeing this but no contribution well as much as i know that a donation would be much greater thing to do and im quite sure much of it would not have happened to you including me i just thought after all the recent great work you are doing if people would come here and say thanks again this would make you feel at least make you feel appreciated
BUT what to do people users of your great creations (like me) think i said thanks once why say it again is what im assuming

Can anyone let me know the basics to porting a Rom ?
I re-use this post to have some info on porting.
I'm trying to port Android too. I've builded a CM ROM for my Device (Samsung Galaxy Gio, Thanks to Maclaw Guide on his gitHub Wiki), but now i want to modify the source and i'm searchin the way to do this. Can any of you help me?

No one is going to reply to your post.. All the devs are to lazy to explain and help others port. They have half guides every where, but you ask a question they never reply! And people call this a great community?

First off there are tons of tut all over the site. Alot of this is trial and error mixed with many sleepless nights.
Calling the Dev lazy is way out of line. All the tools you need can be found with a Google search. But people seem to be too lazy to put in the days worth of work that is need to understand what your doing.

man don't use any wrong against any dev. they work hard 4 for all. plz don't use this words
I think antony want to say that there's no knowledge sharing between new users and developers that know really good how to proceed into the development.
No one of us know all of all. For example i've learned how to cross compile the android source many times ago but my doubts are on the mods area of OS.
I don't like to ask to other but i must admit that i've not a great knowsledge on this argument. So, a part of us (new developers), only ask an help on the way to take for learn the necessary to do more.
I want sayd thanks for all developers! They bring on our phone a big innovation, a thing that our phone never can have! I know that create a ROM or even un PORT is very difficult, a thing that as a big and the best people/developers can do this! Some of them need support, because is very difficult, and the people that never create a ROM do stupid asks or be always ask for ETA´s! Because the fantastic developers, our phone is a great phone, a phone more beautiful ,useful and fast! I want too sayd thanks to XDA for create this forum and help many developers to create a ROM, bring a help necessary! A big thanks!
I think that my English isn´t soo bad, but I can that you understand that I can says!
