[ME572c] Nexus 7 2013 edition screen protector fits 100% - MeMO Pad 7 Accessories

Currently there's no screen protector for ME572c; fortunately, however, the screen size and cutout are exactly same as Nexus 7 2013 edition.
Now I want to know which tempered glass plate is the best.

Thanks a lot for this useful information. But just to make, did use already test it with some screen protector?
Thanks for confirming this.
Btw, I have a note 3 and Nilkin 9H+ is awesome. (tempered glass)

I am satisfied with this tempered glass though the cam's hole is a bit off (barely noticeable), and the clarity seems to be good, and the oleophobic layer is there.

Zagg Screen protectors and the S pen. Or any protector.

So I'm interested if anyone has gotten a Zagg screen protector and how it interacts and feels with the S pen. Is there too much resistance or does the rubber tip kind of feel sticky on it. If you don't have a Zagg how does your screen protector feel with the S Pen.
It's crap. While the Zagg adds a relatively thick layer that can act as shock absorber if you manage to drop the phone face down, I absolutely hate it when I draw on Sketchbook. It's sort of deformable, and the S-pen leaves small ridges in the protector as I draw, and the more I draw, the more uneven the surface gets. It was frustrating when I had it on my Note 2. Clarity-wise, it's quite good for normal viewing, but even a microscopic amount of oil smudged across can ruin the experience. The glass on the phone itself seems more oleophobic than Zagg's protector.
I'm running without a protector on my Note 3 at the moment, so I'm trusting the screen to Gorilla Glass 3. Since I have a wallet case, it won't have any hard objects gliding over it when I'm not using it. Few weeks in and I'm satisfied so far.
Thanks for the input bro. Duly noted that's what I figured would happen. I guess I'll opt for a privacy screen protector then. It's cheap, useful and effective.

Only the polyurethane based protectors have that issue (Zagg/BestSkinsEver/GhostArmor/Skinomi/etc...) because they are softer. The iSmooth/Spigen type protectors don't have this issue at all.

I have the Spigen tempered glass screen protector on mine. Working with the S Pen feels just like writing on the phones screen. Id recommend not going with Zagg if you intend to use the S Pen.

I've had nothing but good experience with Zagg. I have the Zagg High Definition on my Note 3 and haven't had any problems at all. S pen works great, doesn't leave ridges as someone mentioned above. Of course I didn't use the S pen in the first 48 hours to give the screen time to fully set in.
I am liking the zagg protector.. only issue I am having is that I dropped the phone off the end table 8 hrs after getting the phone and there is a dent in the protector.. didnt self heal.. i filled out for the lifetime warranty and giving it until this saturday to request a replacement....
Zagg makes a tempered glass for the iPhone, I'm hoping they release it for the note 3 but they probably won't since there's much less demand.

i understand that iphone is 1 size (ok 2.. 4 and 5..) but for saying not much of a demand.. my local BB couldnt keep Note 3's on the shelf and neither can my local sprint store... thus i had to play the.. im there at the right time deal to get my note 3... so there is a demand...
Since I've seen $8 and $12 tempered glass screen detectors mentioned in the last couple of days I don't see any reason why you'd get a plastic film screen protector.
The $8 one ships from the US as well so it should be quick. I wish I'd seen these before I spent $28 for mine.

Zagg HD screen protectors are absolute garage, they have been back since their original Zagg screen protectors before they added "HD" on to the name. Actually, that was the only improvement that Zagg has made to their screen protectors in years, just the name. I don't like glass screen protectors due to how painfully obvious it is that there's a screen protector installed, mainly due to the gaps around every edge, speaker, camera, sensors, Home button, etc. Not to mention that your Home button is now recessed. You'll notice most people wanting Home button stickers have a glass screen protector, just to bring their Home button back to being flush with the rest of the screen. If you want a screen protector that looks invisible, ZERO gaps around the edges, and feels just like your bare screen does now, then search "TechMatte" on Amazon. They are currently on sale for only $4.95 for a 3 pack! Much MUCH cheaper than all of the other screen protectors which claim to be "premium", when they'll actually either just be an eyesore, feel horrible to the touch, make your S-Pen unusable, or drastically deteriorate the now gorgeous looking display! Plus, TechMatte also provides you a lifetime warranty! I guarantee that you will be 100% satisfied, this will become your absolute favorite screen protector you've ever used or seen anywhere, and will LOVE it! Once installed, I bet your friends won't even know that you have a screen protector installed, and probably won't even be able to find it after you do tell them there's a screen protector on your phone! I posted a review of it with pics (I tried to photograph it anyway) here in this subforum. Here's a link to them on Amazon : http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00CK...r=1-10&m=AG8AYSVS7E5IO&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70
The stock photo in Amazon shows the screen protector having a U shaped cutout at the bottom for the Home button, but it actually has a precise cutout for the Home button which provides coverage all around the Home button

I don't remember which thread contains the link to the $12 one, but if you read all the screen protector comments you'll find it. I do remember that it's identical to this one, and I noticed it because it seemed the same as my Mime at a lower price.

I agree with you on the zaggs but I think you should try the spigen tempered glass t.r I was skeptical since I've never used glass but it's amazing like nothing is even on the screen. Most importantly it works flawlessly with the S-Pen. I had major issues with the Zagg and S-Pen on my Note 2

I've used zagg on my note 1,2 & 3 I can't complain..not 100% fluid with writing but I would prefer having the protector since 9 out of 10 times I never use stylus..now that I have spigen tempered I don't worry about it..very smooth

Which is the best glass screen protector. Any experience with Anoke's?

Over a year has passed since the Note PRO came out. Which is the best screen protector as of today? Has any of you used the Anoke Tempered Glass Screen Protectors 9h hardness, 2.5d Rounded Edges, 0.3mm Thickness? It seems to have received very good overall reviews.
I am still using a plastic-like screen protector from Samsung. I got it as a gift from an electronics store. The problem with it is that it is a finger print magnet. Also, as I use the device as a phone, it is easy to see lots of saliva droplets as I talk to the screen sometimes.

I wont recommend a tempered glass as the extra thickness will interfere with the S-pen

I used a tempered glass that i bought from aliexpress for 4.4 USD
It is good but finger prints are there too
I applied it for protection only
There are no problems with the spen as far as i know
I was going to post the link but the item is already removed
Still perfectly satisfied with my Mime tempered glass screen protector. I have no significant issue with pen use. The only issue is the gap around the bezel but I don't care one iota about that.

[Q] Nexus 6 screen protector

Anyone suggest a 9H glass screen protector? I have done some research and heard of Halos or foggy screens, covering proximity sensor and others saying if they go to the edges where the screen curves it doesnt lay completely flat causing it to catch on clothing.
Post your suggestions i just got my nexus 6, its a great upgrade over my lg g2.....
Verizon's tempered glass is the best, cut short so no halos

There is an active thread full of information for screen protectors for the N6 here http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/accessories/tempered-glass-screen-protectors-t2922645. No need for another.

Should I use Incipio Level 5 with screen protector or level 4 with none?

So I got two new cases for my S7. Level 5 Incipio performance series case that has a built in screen protector and a level 4 case which is very slightly less thicker but doesn't have a built in protector.
Anyways the level 5 built in protector fits very flush to the screen and responds well but it is VERY fuzzy and takes away from the clarity of the screen.
The Level 4 is very similar to the level 5 but no built in screen protector and is slightly less thick and slightly less lip but still rated for 12 ft fall.
Anyways would it be safe to use the level 4 without tempered glass or a screen protector? Will the screen scratch without a protector or shatter if I dropped it in the parking lot or tile?
Also I did order some tempered glass and a cheap stick on protector. I see what everyone means by halo. The glass protector was a total farce. I never seen a halo that bad on any phone I've had. Now I can see why most are not using tempered glass. I tried the stick on one and it scratches way too easily.
I say 4 with a film protector. Just got the Zagg Curved and will try it later today. I don't have high hopes for it though.

I tried the film protector too. Stuck a bit better but still a pain around the edges and scratched very easily by touching it and I'm not spending big $$$ on one especially with the curved glass.
The S6, Note 4, Note 5 didn't have these problems with screen protectors. The Note4 had a tiny Halo but nothing major. Nothing like the S7 does.

Which film protector did you try?
I have the Spigen Curved crystal and an Armorsuit case friendly sitting here that I have not tried yet. Later tonight I'll try the Zagg curved but have feeling it's going to be a major disappointment. I had the Note 4 & 5 and both had screen protector problems (halos).

My Note 5 had tempered glass and the Halo was very minimal. Nothing like the S7. Yea I saw the curved glass and it doesn't look impressive or that it will work well. Looks like a waste of money. Besides I don't think that would even work with my case because my case is so snug.
I probably will end up going back to the Defender again. It seems every phone I get I end up going back to the Defender after awhile.

Did anyone get the zagg tempered glass screen protector?

So far I've tried 5 different screen protectors and they've all been garbage. I want to try the Zagg one but don't really want to waste 40 bucks on something that's hard to return if it sucks.
Has anyone used it? Does it cover the screen properly?
No, it doesn't. I've got about 0.5 mm of uncovered AMOLED on each side.

Thanks for the replies. Wonder if anyone is going to just make a damn glass screen protector that curves so it fits this screen. I'd spend a decent amount of money on that.

I voiced the same thought in another thread. Seems like that would solve quite a lot of TGSP problems considering more and more phones are being made with 2.5D glass.

Could you possible elaborate on which particular brands of screen protectors you got? You know, for research purposes
No, but I was there when my brother and his SO both put zaggs on their piXeL and they did end up with the slightly exposed screen on either side. Very very poor work by zagg. PeehPs even more troubling was that they each had multiple protectors simply not adhering at the edges, which was frustrating. They went to Verizon to complain and were given free exchanges since the verizon folks said lots of people (of all phone types) had been having these exact issue with the zaggs recently. Definitely not touching them myself.
[2-Pack] Google Pixel Screen Protector, Dmax Armor [Tempered Glass] 0.3mm 9H Hardness, Anti-Scratch, Anti-Fingerprint, Bubble Free, Ultra-clear - Noticeable screen on both sides of a perfectly centered protector.
Pixel intelliGLASS HD The Smarter Galaxy Glass Screen Protector by intelliARMOR To Guard Against Scratches and Drops. HD Clear With Max Touchscreen Accuracy. - Noticeable screen on both sides of a perfectly centered protector.
[2-Pack] Klearlook Google Pixel 9H [Scratch Proof & Ultra Clear] Tempered Glass Screen Protector - This was the closest to covering the whole screen, but still not quite. Might have just stuck with this one if I'd realized the others were gonna be worse. Still would have bugged me though.
Google Pixel Screen Protector, Fosmon 3 Pack [Full Screen Coverage | HD Crystal Clear] TPU Sticky Coating Screen Shield for Google Pixel - This is not a tempered glass protector. Because it's so thin it was impossible to get off it's adhesive covers without touching the sticky side, also impossible to get it down centered and without bubbles because it was too thin. But it did cover the entire screen properly.
Google Pixel Screen Protector (5")[2-Pack], ILLUMI AquaShield Full Coverage Screen Protector for Google Pixel HD Clear Anti-Bubble Film - I bought this one the other day but it has not arrived yet. Figured i'd give the wet apply one a try because I can at least center it and it should cover the whole screen. I'll have to see how it feels though.
I put on a wet-apply protector the other day and am quite happy with it. I went with the Skinomi MatteSkin.
I've used matte protectors before and never stayed with them. I'm finding I really like this one, though. It has a satin kind of look that goes well with the black leather skin and colored "G" logo (Slickwraps).
