No. Siyah Kernel v6.0beta4 and Siyah Kernel v6.0beta5 doesn't support cm7.2 and any android 2.3.x. They only support 4.1.X roms. Did you even read the OP first (first post)?
You will need to use siyah kernel v2.x.x if you want to dualboot gb, but good luck finding it!
Edit: Using the search function, I found the files for you:

this kernel will work with [Rom][official][02/04]Resurrection Remix ics v1.1 PRO[XXLPE]4.0.3[Full-Wipe]? please reply.thanks.
No. That version of Siyah will not work with any ICS rom. ICS is Android 4. That particular Siyah kernel is Gingerbread. Siyah V3 works with quite a few ICS roms.
Go to the development section & have a look at thread for the rom you're wanting to install & also the Siyah V3 thread to see if Siyah will work with that rom or not.

Both r good since the base for both the kernels are same ma8
2.does kernel siyah support dualbooting Jelly Bam rom with my stock samsung 4.0.3 ?
Yes,it does support dual booting JB and ICS for u but the JB rom(jelly bam preffered by u) should be the latest release which has the new mali driver
3.If it supports dualbooting these amazing roms beside eachother , how can I dualboot them easily?
u can see this fantastic guide for dual booting by @phistacio, fallow the instruction in the first post carefully to have a successfull dual boot on ur phone
Dorimanx is based on Siyah but Dorimanx has more tweaks.

Which Siyah Kernel to flash on CM9.1 - Help!

Hi Everyone,
I am currently running CM9.1.0 on my s3 i9300 since that is the latest stable build - at least it says that on their website. I wanted to flash siyah v1.9.1 but found that it is only supported on jb roms. So i tried flashing the older v1.8.6 on it but it crashed. I have wiped and reinstalled cm9.1 but i want to know which is the latest stable Siyah ICS kernel that i can flash with CM9.1.0?
Alternatively if there are none, plz suggest to me which would be the next preffered kernel to siyah in terms of battery and performance that will also work with ICS/cm9.1?
Thanks

[Q] old version of kernel after flash new update

Hi, I just want to ask: How to install/flash the kernel so that after flash new update of ROM this kernel will be still installed. Because when I install new update of ROM my old version of kernel is back.
ROM: TEMASEK's CM 10.2 V31
KERNEL: 010913-0811-cm10.2-i9300-linux3094-BOEFFLA
My kernel after flash new update is still: 3.0.6x
EDIT: Since all ROMs include a kernel, if you're using a custom Kernel then flash a ROM, you will need to reflash the kernel again.
I am sorry, I had to read that thread before posting this.

All ROMs update the kernel because a ROM needs a kernel to function. If you want to use a custom kernel, you must flash it immediately after the ROM.
All basic information about root is available in general > sticky roll-up thread > Understanding the basics before rooting.
