have galaxy ace 4 lte g313f while talking there is a lock on the screen to open I need to tap twice how can I cancel it or where can I fint a cusom software to cancel it.

So Sprint/Samsung sent the Android 4 update to my phone and now when I hit my phone button the next screen does not automatically load the dialer. It will load the screen you were on last ie. call log or favorites. That annoys the **** out of me and adds extra time to making a call.
Someone please tell me there is somewhere I can change this back to the way it was?

Was wondering if someone could help me out there. I did a search on the Forum and I dont find an answer to my problem.
Whenever I try to send a video by text it doesnt let me. I even tried sending one that was 7 secs long and still didnt let me.
Do I need to change setting in my video.
I still have stock ROM and am using ICS....
Please help....

Were you connected by Wifi?
Trying to send a MultiMedia Message (MMS - aka pics or video over text) when connected by WiFi will often fail, unless you update your APN settings...

On my old phone (Samsung Galaxy Note 2) there was an option to enter owner information and then have that displayed on the lock screen. So if I lost my phone and an honest stranger found it they could see my email address and potentially let me know they'd found it which could be very useful. I thought that was an actual core Android feature rather than a Samsung specific addition but I can't find it anywhere in my One Max's settings to do the same thing which is disappointing. Am I missing something obvious or is this feature genuinely not available on the One Max?

I'm using archidoid 2 in my galaxy s3 (i9300).
But this ROM does not allow background applications to run automatically. Applications like Moves are off and will not record my steps.
How can I fox this problem!

Hello all, this is my first post on XDA so I hope it isn't too convoluted.
I just got the Galaxy s6 Edge + and I want to change the ui sounds of the phone to custom one's; specifically the unlock sound. "unlock_none_effect.ogg"
I'd like to change these with out rooting. The default location for ui sounds are Device>System>Media>Audio>ui. I cannot replace any of the files because they are "Read Only." I just swapped my phone into Dev mode, but Dev mode doesn't have a setting for "read only" admin power.
Anyone know the best way to do this with out rooting? I'm tech savvy as hell, I just don't work on phones that often. Anything you throw at me I'll be able to do with a limited explanation.

I need a serial number for s6 plus verizon , I 'm staying in brick and I can not get the firmware to flash by Odin . I can only download from Kies but asks for a serial number and not have it. They help me?

The box your phone came in should have the serial number on it.

I had the same problems but what I did is I used the RingDroid app and then just re-saved my files as a ringtone. They became available in any app that I needed ringtones/notifications. (Textra MMS for example.)
