Hi there, after we've got root, we can finally customize our devices!
I've started creating a new (or better to say, editting default) theme. I'm not going to create a fully custom shiny theme with custom widgets design and so on. I just want to get rid of that ugly SE clinic-blue.
I don't have much free time, but i'm going to keep moving to the end )
Now it's about 40-50% ready. There are still a lot of blue, but it's usable. You can try it (as always, at your own risk )) ).
Just put the framework-res.apk into /system/framework/
P.S. I had to recover my device after i've putted framework-res.apk on it for the first time. I think, permissions must be changed to 755 before rebooting. After recover I always change permissions and have no problems )
(one more time: root is needed).

Yay, the blue theme it comes with is disgusting. It'd be even more awesome if you could make it look like the default android theme

Is it possibile to have an .apk "grey theme" file with blu original color as background of notification bar? (only this).
So, I like grey, but in this upper bar I think blu is better

It seems to be ok now. There is minimum of blue, but it comes not from framework-res file. I'll try to fix it later.
Off-topic question. how do you get the 4 shortcuts in you dock, I can only seem to get 2?

Most of this theme interface is Black and White. The Battery signal connection all are white on a Black Background. Touch and Selections and pattern unlock and some more things are blue in colour. Try it out. If it has some problem you have a suggestion share here.

Which is bloodie difficult. You need smali/baksmalki I think.
nope i got a idea.....wat to do is same stuff wat screenoff&lock.apk which we get in market does.......what it does is show an animation and then switches off the screen display.....which ultimately gives an effect tht its a real screen off animation......we can implement the same idea its like integrating it with the phone..... imean integrating the screen""".apk with our fone.....

Hello everybody, well my english is not that good
I just wanna bring something to the community this is not made by me I was inspired from this theme MattedBlues.
So after I saw the MattedBlues theme for samsung i feel in love with it so i wanted to port the theme to Dell Streak so I begin to search for MattedBlues themes and I found a few.
So I begin the porting, had some problems with some PNG's so I take some from nickshertzer and Tenorntex. The theme is created from DSC Firmware I haven't tested with other gingerbread rom's.
So I wanna thank the following people, nickshertzer, tenorntex, _n0p_ and the creators of MattedBlues.

LCD battery indicator looks a bit off from total impression. Maybe a thin normal numbers would do?

I have just started working on it, right now i am working on icons later on i will consider the latest base for any mods.
In between do you like the projected Black_Metallic_Theme. I always wanted to make black theme with some metallic effect so i thought to make it for 4.3:fingers-crossed:

well truly it looks great and minimal stuff with black is like steroid with extreme power

I have a special suggestion and I know you won't do it !!!
We hate blue and white colors, because all of our Rom and themes had these colors and it is extremely repetitive...
It`s very good that you decide to change our plastic feeling with a metal one! We all like gold too!
You can be the first one who makes a golden metallic theme with black background,please make a different theme with golden toggle and your divider colors which are white now, and if it`s possible , change the font colors to be golden

Guys Just Chill!!!
I don't care what other themers do i just make my themes according to my likes, dislikes and the knowledge that i have for theming and at the same time i have always asked my users to suggest me so if i like their idea or suggestion and if it is possible to include it in the current version theme i will do or else i will try to include in the next version.
Most of the themers go for few system apps theming but i always tried to theme as many apps i can and you can see this in my chrome blue theme thread. Also my theme changelog is always as big as my theme not like others who updates there theme with a few changes.
you have mentioned that "I know you won't do it !!!" this is not true i can make it but the problem is timing. Making themes takes too much time and we have to put many efforts and also have to be creative thinking for that and when the time comes for appreciation or donation or any kind of support then no one cares.
Dude your thinking is as good as mine because making a golden theme is in my mind but i thought to make "Black_Metallic" first.
Since Metallic theme will be based on Aroma and writing a script and config is very lengthy and boring work as a small mistake can create a problem. So I will consider golden theme if and only if time permits me.
Right now working on pop-ups and dialogs backgrounds for Black_Metallic theme and it's headache making them:crying:.

dear manikant_009 , my meaning of this sentence : "I know you won't do it !!!" was what you said,i know making a new theme which is difference needs alot of time because you have to find and build and mach all of the toggles and colors and backgrounds,
i didn`t mean that you can`t,i saw your previous theme with that huge aroma and full customizable for 4.1.2 Roms.
i'd like to make a golden theme too but now i'm really busy.4 months later i'm going to learn and make a great golden theme and maybe for note3

Doctor Who Theme
Themer recently started to support the LG optimus G so this is my first attempt at making a theme. In honor of the recent 50th Anniversary Special(and because generally I'm a fan) my first theme is for Doctor Who. Hopefully some fellow Doctor Who fans will enjoy this! Only Themer widgets were used. To install simply copy the zip to /mycolorscreen/themer/exported. Then go to the theme browser, click exported and choose this theme.
For whatever reason, when you pick this theme in the browser it's not showing a thumbnail. This is my first day using it so I'm not sure if it's my phone or I missed something. However, I can assure you that the theme installs just fine and exactly as I designed it.
