[Q] Is there an app that.......

IS there an app that will flash the capacitive lights while the phone is locked when there is a received notification? I can never seem to notice the green notification light. If it isn't i think it would be a good idea for an application.

[Q] Notification Band - Can it be turned off?

Hi Guys,
I was wondering if the Notification band around the bottom of the Xperia S can be halted from flashing notifications at me. I am aware there has been a question regards the Notification LED at the top of the handset but this is not what I mean.
There are times I would like to retain some privacy, like, the whole point of being able to put a phone on silent?
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers,
d.
Do you mean the notification band below the keys? The transparent strip?
Does it blink/flash for notifications on your Xperia S?
How did you enable it? I have an european Xperia S and the notification does ONLY work with the notification Led on the top of the phone.
Yep, How did you enable it?
Mine only blinks when there is an incoming call (not for telling me I've missed call) and when I plug it into the charger, it blinks thrice. That's about it

It's the flashing when receiving an incoming call, I would like to be able to ignore calls while not showing the whole room I am doing so
I would like it if it were possible to have the transparent strip flash when either there is a missed call or email notification rather than the little led.
Anyone know if this is possible?

Discussed to death. Why do we have to repeat over and over and over and over again?
Post a link rather than being funny about it!
It's not my thread but just asked the question as it was kind if in line with what op was asking.

Agreed. One thing I dislike about this community is how ready people are to shout down mistakes. Either point to the existing discussion or STFU

[Q] Screen goes ON message notification

Hi,
Is there a way to make your screen goes ON when you receive a message/sms? like when you have incoming calls? Cos my DX is always on Silent/Vibrate mode and i barely notice it with a led notification, I need to have this.
Thanks.

This is super helpful, thank you for going through this. I got it setup but still having some issues - the notch light is always on haha. going to have to tweak this some more.
Hey all,
Check out the app LED Blinker Pro, there is an option to have a blinking light on the screen. Looks exactly like previous samsung phones, and you can also have multiple lights for different notifications. Problem solved!

Did you try it and does it work?
Just to know if the API that supports it is there.
It seems the downsides of all the led apps is that once you get the notification you can't unlock the phone with the fingerprint sensor, you have to double tap the screen or something to cancel the app and then unlock the phone.
Working pretty well for me this far. I added this app on my gf's and my S10 Plus's. Besides going through the bevy options we have it setup. The light only goes around the camera when a notification comes in. Still doing some tsing so I'll update if anything.

There is an option though that you can select that if you pickup your phone, it goes right to the lock screen so you don't have to dismiss the led screen.
nice app but it's a killing battery

I noticed that, but then beside it it said it uses more power. I switched to aod instead, if only you could get rid of the clock and date and simply have notifications on it.
