I don't know. Found official ROM for your G357FZ, extract boot.img and recovery.img and ask Nikiz (creator of CWM for G313HZ) if he want to compile it for you.
I tried the first version a couple of months ago and I tried the new version (29th August 2015) with Odin 1.85 and 3.10.7, and didn't have luck this time either.

I'm having the same problem. Tried with Odin and Heimdall with no luck. Also tried with three different USB cables and three computers. With Odin the flashing just hangs with "recovery.img" and Heimdall complains that it's not able to write to USB. Luckily the device boots up ok after the flash attempt but of course, stock recovery is still in place. Could this be somehow related to the SW version on the device or are there different variants of this model? The build number of my current (stock) SW is KOT49H.G313HNXXU0ANL1 (and the Android 4.4.2)

I now compiled the latest version of Heimdall (cloned from Github) and tried "heimdall print-pit". That fails with
Code:

Downloading device's PIT file...
ERROR: Failed to receive end PIT file transfer verification!
ERROR: Failed to download PIT file!
I had the issue with odin getting stuck while flashing the recovery. I managed to get it flashed by packing the CWM recovery.img with stock system.img in a tar.md5.
Allowed me to install Nikiz' CM11 and after getting fed up with wifi amnesia, root the stock rom using supersu update zip.
Please post this in the thread too, several people reported this issue. I lack the privilege due to not having 10 posts.

Many thanks, this made my day!!!! Grabbed the system.img from 4.4.2 stock rom and created tar.md5 file with cwm recovery.img. Odin flash was successful!

I have a galaxy gt i9100 an 4.0.3 on it. I flashed siyah kernel 5.0.1 with odin and no my phone does not boot. Its stock on screen displaying Firmware upgrade encountered and issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again.
I try to flash rom I9100XWLS8 with odin and i only get this:

Ok re download the rom from samfirmware and try again. Not sure if it's a single PDA file or several CSC modem etc. Reflash.

doesnt go to download mode or recovery mode (earlier it was)
Earlier i was facing an issue that whenever i start it....it displayed "CWM 6.0.3.2" "WARNING : No file_contexts"

I'm getting the same problem on my sm-g318h trend 2 lite but it doesn't get fixed like his.
ive gotta major problem with my device. after trying to flash a stock rom (it crashed while flashing) i m unable to flash any rom. everytime i try to flash another one it says

Try flashing only a recovery (CF, Perseus, TWRP, etc) through ODIN and check if it is successful. The log seems to error out when flashing the recovery.
If successful, try flashing the stock ROM again.
If not, download another stock ROM and check if you can install it.
Just speculations. Dunno if it will actually work. The last resort is, of course, the service centre. Good luck! :thumbup:

I had the same problem mate. You just need to flash the stock recovery using PC ODIN. Once you've flashed the stock recovery, you'll be able to flash any ROM properly. Im 99% sure this will work.
I got a problem with my Note-2. Stuck on the samsung logo screen. (flash rom long time ago, i can't remember that rom but it's 4.1.2)
Can boot in CWM and download mode. I tried to wipe data/cache/dalvik but didn't work.
- Abyss kernel : not work
- pit file 16 gb : not work
- use 3 computers : not work

Read droidstyles post in Development, its stickied, and follow the section on returning to stock.
Try the alternate ROM with and without the PIT first and if that doesn't work try the others.

Okay so here goes I couldn't find the Verizon s3 forum so I am posting here Ok so no matter what I try I cannot flash anything with ODIN I was trying to install cf Auto root and then Odin failed so I searched for an answer and decided to try cynogen mod 11 ODIN fails again so I research says I need a custom recovery so I try to install twrp again fails so I try VRALEC again no dice no matter what I get this error in ODIN <ID:0/004> Added!!

Hello guys .. i bricked my s6 edge SM-925F.
All what i did was to run by odin a recovery .. after that all went wrong.. Can enter only in Download mode.. i put many recovery even stock on..many of them fail but i got 2 wich says Recovery is not seandroid enforcing.
If i try to install by odin stock room i got fail.. i downloaded like 3 official room from samobile.. same .. all fail dunno why..

I have exactly the same issue as this, and I can't get into recovery. I have tried multiple stock versions all giving me the same error as you stated.
Try to flash only kernel and older TWRP, then try to restore your backup.
If you don't have backup, then you should know that the first "rule" of XDA is ALWAYS BACKUP, actually, it's mantra it's not a rule
