Same here. It cant be too hard, someone made one for the nexus 5 that you were able to 3d print at home and assemble it, i made it myself at school amd it looked really good! From there to it being printed on metal was a small step for a big company :/... I beleive the same can be done for the nexus 6

Wanted to check it out at one of my local shops last weekend but it was closed. Might take a look this Saturday.
From the picture it looks quite similar to my Spigen Slim Armor, but the shop owner said the plastic is matte instead of shiny
p.s. from your second picture, it looks like your back isn't on properly. In all other pictures I've seen look like the ROCK logo is flush with the plastic. Did you put it on as 2 pieces? For my Slim Armor, I put it on and take it off as 1 piece even though it's 2 pieces like your case

The small gap between the rubber and plastic is a cooling vent. The idea is the semi hollow rubber part lets air flow and out of slim gap.

I got the white one... 3 months already.. Still clean with kids playing on it and stuff... One thing though.. The plastic screen may impact the screen... See a review on Amazon. I'm using pen most of the time. So no issues... Nothing you can't live with. You could of course remove the plastic cover and get another protector..

the plastic doesn't weigh much...it's just glued to the plastic frame...
the whole thing with the notepro is 1.25kg

God, another sticker...nope I've never put a giant sticker around my phone
I came across them at CES a couple years back and got one for my Galaxy S3. The product itself is really good imo. The only thing I had issues with was for the S3 it didn't wrap all the way around like the Iphone and now G3 models they have. After a few months because of that the edges started peeling up from in and out of the pocket and so forth. Because that is my only experience with them I cant say if the full wrap around is any better. If you do get it be prepared to be precise when putting it on. Once its on its really on! I barely touched it to my backing and was off a little and it wouldn't budge.

That's not a vinyl skin its real wood. Also skins are not stickers there is a difference. The skins are usually made with 3m vinyl the same material that people use to wrap their cars to get a matte look to them. Its also great for protecting your phone from scratches.
Back on top now those cases look nice, has anyone purchased on for their G3 yet? I'm interested in a review once someone does because those look really nice.

I was considering one of these and I asked them via Twitter. They said it's not really designed to go over a tempered glass screen protector. However, the front pieces are an optional extra, so you could just skip them and only cover the back and sides.
I was mistaken, I always refer to vinyl and or anything that's not cheaply made as a skin not a sticker. Thank you for the correction about that.
How is the quality/durability of the toast wood "case"? Can you still remove the back?

According to their twitter feed, they designed it so that the backplate could still be removed.

Its all good. Durability is fantastic and yes, you can still remove the back. Its a 3 piece design.

As would I. Because I have a tempered glass screen protector I wouldn't be purchasing the optional front pieces. I'm curious as to how the white front will look with a wood back.

What would be the difference between applying it to the glass rather than the tempered glass protector? Seems like it would work just fine...

I don't know if this would work for you, but the Ringke Fusion has a clear back, and includes a template for you to print your own designs for the back. You could have the most kawaii back ever if you find a decent picture and print it off to the specs necessary.

I don't have any pics of the case on the phone but I can tell you the fit is 100%. The built in screen protector is nice and clear and doesn't drag when you touch it. The port covers close great and don't flap or open unexpectedly. The power/volume buttons are easy to press and are distinguishable. I honestly don't have a single complaint .

I'm actually curious as to whether you could cut the clear back out of this one and make an edge only bumper out of it.

I took the screen protector off because i have a glass one. Ive already dropped my phone back side down on a hardwood floor and the case took it like a champ.

Could you get a pic of the inside of the outer shell where the buttons are? I bought a Supcase Heavy Duty but it made horrible contact with the buttons on the N6. I had to be very deliberate with my presses to get them to work. I ended up returning the case but I have attached an image of my old Trident case for my Moto X showing what I mean. Thanks.

I dont drop my phone usually but i want to protect the phone from getting scratches at the back of the phone. My current phone has a very small scratches at the back and i want to prevent that. Invisibleshield used to make full body military grade films but all i found on their website is for front screen only. Do they stop making full body hd film? Or any other website sell full body film for s8+. All i really need is the film to cover the back side.
I got the Skinomi full-body one for my S8. It fits wells and went on pretty well.
I may take it off the front, though - I really like the naked screen look.

Yep, bought it directly from Skinomi.com. I think it took 3 or 4 business days for delivery.
There are pieces to put on the metal trim, but I just threw them out. I mostly wanted this so that there would be a clear skin on the back of the phone. It covers the entirety of the glass. You just have to be patient putting it on the curve.

Definitely regular. I've gotten matte before (Note 7) and it took away from how well-designed the phone is.

Slickwraps has a clear one, just the back.

I actually only paid $10 for it since I found a $5 code (just google "slickwraps discount code" if anyone is interested) and 1 slick point I think is what they call it. I got the orchid grey colour so I think it's pointless for me to cover up a coloured back phone with a skin design. If I got the black one, sure. But I love this muted purple colour! And that skin will be there for when I want to use my phone naked.

Thanks. I was gonna order from gadgetshield but they ship from India and I kinda want it asap so I placed an order with skinomi last night.
Are these three hard plastic feel or do any of them have that slight rubberized feel like the zagg skins. I have a case on mine but I hate it, love the feel of the phone. I'd like the skin to be bit grippy to help from flying out of my hands.
