[MOD][BETA] Advanced Reboot Menu for Tab 3 10.1 - Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 Android Development

I modified some frameworks of the Tablet to enable Advanced Power Menu...I posted it in General section of the forum but looks like it isn't visible there.
I also need a tester more things (a whole new rom!). @Aeyan Ashraf used to be my tester, but it looks like he isn't, anymore.
Anyone interested in testing can lead to here for more informations http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-3/general/mod-advanced-reboot-menu-tab-3-10-1-t2983139

If u need a tester for P5200 i could help u

Provide android.policy.jar; services.jar; framework-res.apk and twframework-res.apk from your current ROM please.
I will try to patch it, but it's not guaranteed. Cause both devices are a bit different.

Not to be a downer, but this is already easily accomplished by installing the xposed framework, and APM.

XPosed is cool, and great. However wouldn't it be great if the features we wanted were already part of a ROM and we didn't need to install addons just to customize how we want?
I install xposed. I see a module I like. Then I try to find how to hard code so I don't need xposed.
Thank you Nonta. I will try this when possible.

I don't really understand your question. Some modules have some tweaks adapted from various ROMs, but not all. If you have a more specific question, maybe someone can help you out. Otherwise there's this index.

Xposed (Keepchat Snapshare & Snapchat) Older Versions

Here is the older versions of these 3 frameworks & Snapchat all of them work just install & enjoy
Snapchat - http://www.mediafire.com/download/8f4ufl6kdu67yoz/com.snapchat.android_404.apk
Keepchat - http://www.mediafire.com/download/8fc8a0586td9sqn/com.ramis.keepchat_55.apk
Snapshare - http://www.mediafire.com/download/wk87deon0y47a5j/com.p1ngu1n.snapshare_20.apk
Snapchat Full Caption - http://www.mediafire.com/download/t21flogvv5ds5wu/com.elesbb.snapchatfullcaption_1.apk
1st. Uninstall Snapchat then re-install by downloading the APK once done go to Snapchat in the Store & click settings uncheck mark auto update
2nd. Install all frameworks then go into Xposed turn them on reboot & enjoy
FIX TO DOWNGRADE
Install Xposed Xinstaller - Reboot
Install newset version of Snapchat
Xinstaller - Installations - Downgrading apps
then install any version of Snapchat just install it over the new Snapchat
EVERYTHING WORKS I don't like stories I think it's stupid
Reason why I have these cause I broke my phone 2 weeks before Thanksgiving & yesterday I just now fixed it S3.... 3/10 yesterday I had a OLDER 14 backup ROM & finally figured out how to flash it so now I'm able to give you guys the Snapchat Full Caption enjoy
............
Respect to the Dev that put in the work for these Snapchat mods

That's a big fat negative. The actual Xposed framework needed to make all of these things work is currently incompatible with Lollipop Android 5.0. It is in development however so keep checking for information on Xposed for Lollipop and with any luck, you'll be in business soon.

Keepchat works in 100%. (v. 4.3.0 with Snapchat v.9.20)
Unfortunately Snapshare is not. Some additional features work (e.g unlimited text area) but when you try to share something you get error "Snapshare is not enabled. Please enable it in Xposed Installer(Snapshare is enabled in Xposed Installer)."
I belive it can be a small thing that needs to be improved to work with Lolipop.
Snapshare has been open-source software. Where is the code?
If PirateBay can survive, Snap hacks will also.

actually no cause if you look up both Snap & Keep hacks the creator clearly states that Snapchat has actively blocked the hacks & he had the code & repo pulled so no further development can be had....that's why you don't see it on Xposed site or app

Is it possible to create more volume steps for Z2

Hi Friends.
I have searched and read much on how to do this yourself , but unfortunately it seems the framework.jar file is very different for lollipop.
These guides are for KitKat and out dated.
If possible this will make volume increments much more smoother on our phones. I used an xposed module before , but its unsupported now.
If you know of a current guide on how to or know which lines of code to change/edit in AudioService.smali i will greatly appreciate it.
I am not a pro , with these things but really want to learn. :fingers-crossed:

Isn't there an xposed uninstaller in the official xposed thread that you can flash to disable xposed? The result being you can boot your phone and remove pesky modules that are not behaving without having to do a factory reset.

Working xposed version

Hi guys, I'm trying to install xposed but using the latest version doesn't seem to work. It successfully installs in recovery but then, once in Android, it says it's not yet compatible. I've seen lot of you have installed and managed to have it working. Could you please tell me which version you used? And how you installed it. Thanks

systemless version is not under official development by rovo89
basically, another dev (topjohnwu) is developing it from official sources
maybe in the future rovo89 will provide some tests builds, but that is simply up to him
so short answer, it might be compatible, but no promises
however, current unofficial version is compatible (if you test), but some xposed modules are not fully developed under systemless root

Also if you run the material version you are also as close to stock as possible since this is compiled from official sources but only a few visual changes made to the app

Latest Material Installer and Systemless v86.3 and v86.4.
Tried official v86 too
I can confirm that official framework works fine with material design installer. That's the only combination that's working on my G5. Haven't tried systemless version.

I`ve just already installed it. The rom is pretty nice and customizable, it is fast( not faster than los and rr) and usable for everyday use. I have flashed the latest v-kernel that does a very good job with this rom. So, give it a try!
just tried it
this rom is amazing i've being using it for 3 days now and it feels awsome just few notes and maybe features request if that is possible here ?
1- it is missing the battery mode qs tile
2- when i installed kernel audiator it didnt appear in the settings (as it does in RR)
3- i use viper4android and i've been missing the qs tile of equalizer there so can you add this ?
4- how bout you add gesture everywhere or the app circle (swipe left or right to get it from edge of screen as in RR always )
5- everything works fine even ambient display it never worked for me before ... so can you tell us if we should expect any further updates and more features or no ? please and you done a hell of a job
This rom is dedicated to working on which version?
