How to have tap to wake feature - Sony Xperia Z Ultra

Is there any way to have tap to unlock feature on stock 4.4 firmware.

Xposed....
If you wanna have 5.0 features on 4.4.4 you need xposed

That isn't for stock firmwares.

I think DooMkernel up to v12 update not after has this function(tap to wake aka TTW) but it's buggy and drains a lot of battery. I think CM 11 has this function with better results but I think it's 4.2.2,not sure this. Here is the very good doomkernel thread

Actually gravitybox works on TouchWiz at least on Kitkat that I use (back to n00t 4.4.4) but there is also for jellybean too..not every feature works but most works just fine. .
BTW I'm using xposed installer with gravitybox

Oh.. it says on the dev's xda thread that it isn't compatible with touchwiz. Apparently he meant not all features since it worked with you.
Thank you
Oh do you know exactly what features don't work?

GPE 4.4.4 port for non-gpe is a good choice for battery saving.
Currently I am on CM 11 with greatdev kernel so far so good as the customization is minimal compared to other CM/AOKP based roms but stable.
AOKP missing navigation bar in landscape with lower dpi so i'm staying away from it.
GPE 5.0 port for non-gpe is great too if you want the latest android and doesn't depend on xposed framework.
StoneUI .118 HD3 if you want Sony feel with a whole bunch of unused apps removed.

Lol, I wish I could agree. Despite re-flashing and even formatting, wiping cache and dalvic, I'm getting 2 hours on screen time for my battery.
Even when not using the phone my battery drains like crazy, around 15-20% over an 8 hour period...
That said I can only hope Android 5.1 fixes the horrible battery drain issue.

[Custom] [Rom] [Kernel] [Patch] S4 value edition I9515

The galaxy s4 I9505 has many custom roms but the I9515 and the I9515L have none. Flashing the I9505 one will cause many problems, if you want to cross these limits and flash various roms on your device just download the corresponding files and flash them.
UPDATED v1.3.0: 4.4.2 Touchwiz based rom patch (fully functional) : HERE
4.4.4 Touchwiz based rom patch (wifi-bluetooth not working) : HERE
5.0.1 Touchwiz based rom patch (stock kernel) : HERE
5.0.1 GPe roms patch (stock kernel) : HERE
IF YOU ARE GETTING NOISES DURING CALLS DOWNLOAD :
For 4.4.2 Touchwiz based roms THIS
For 5.0.1 Touchwiz based roms THIS

Note:
You can root by using cf-autoroot found HERE
Twrp recovery:
FLASHABLE IMAGE
ODINFLASHABLE FILE
To ensure not facing any issue flash one of these modems :
4.4.2 Touchwiz based roms modem : THIS
5.0.1 Touchwiz based roms modem : THIS
Known issues:
noises during calls (download the above fix)
wifi stop detecting networks (wiping data/cache/dalvik cache fix it)
Bluetooth or wifi not working (flash the right modem above)
Edit: I am now back to work on porting new Custom Roms to the i9515, and fixing other bugs in stock lollipop. Things are going to be hard, especially after i took a break, but it will be worth it, just wait.
I have setup paypal donations if anyone would like to contribute, it is not necessary, but it would be helpful. I will keep doing my work with or without donations.

I think if you decrease the speaker gain like what guimenez said the noise will disappear because I also hear noises when the volume is at high levels

AICP 5.1.1 for the G2 exists - you just have to look

Also on the site are...

I use AICP on my Nexus 9 and figured I'd search Google. It's weird, I can't find anything in G2 Android Development for them though.
Also, like the recent Blisspop builds, the wake issue is not a problem on the latest nightly with the included kernel.

So for D802 it requires Jb bootloader /Loki or Kk bootloader?cause Lp uses kk bootloader (stock) but this is not stock perhaps. Installation and instructions arent that specific Coming from cloudyg2 3.3 Lp 5.0.2 Dorimanx kernel.
Both lp-loki and lp-bumped boot stacks will work. Most convenient way probably is

EDIT: What kernel works best with this rom (to the ppl who flashed diff kernels) ? Dorimanx or most other kernels are stock based here. 5.1.1 Nightly isnt exactly stock, i think. SOme d802 users battery drain, idle or SOT is because of the stock kernel 3.4.0 (well atleast for me), dunno about other versions tho.Cheers
The daily builds run Marshmallow now and it's pretty stable. Everything works on my d801. I'm also using LamdaKernel even though the one from AICP is pretty good.

I'm curious about this rom, but the problems i had with cm12.1 and 13 was the battery, it drained in 5 hours even on screen off i tried using other kernels but i never got them to make a significant difference, now im on Resurrection Remix 5.6.1 on M and the battery is amazing, also, i wasn't able to get QuickRemote working on M either CM or RR, have you tried it?

Faster and more stable, and kernel 3.10. CM has some problems such as bluetooth connection or suddenly get soft reboot, or some crazy issues when your device works for a long time without reboot. And I think have no reason for trying a unlocked bootloader ROM with kernel 3.4.

That is not pure AOSP. I am telling about AOSP 5.1.1 by FXP team..
Fxp team aosp 5.1.1 is alright but its camera is really bad and the rom has several performance issues
I'd love to switch from stock to cyanogenmod but i keep getting random soft reboots
Aosp is harder to port but provides a faster and smoother aswell as a more pure experience
Cm is easier to port but same as aosp, if not done properly then its not worth

It's not right. AOSP is more easier to port but it's not popular as well as CM so there're less developers do that.
