[Q] Not Registered on the Network

Hi Guys
I updated my S3 to a small critical update, not 4.1.2 and it was a OTA update and now the phone will not make a call, it keeps displaying " not registered to the Network" but it has a data connection i am able to surf the net, I have checked and the phone is not blocked or on the blacklist or reported stolen but I had unlocked the phone via Unlocker.com a few months ago.No UK SIM i.e. (Vodafone Tmobile Three) will make a call through my phone
I have
Wiped Device to factory settings
Flashed a stock rom JB I9300 4.1.2
Flashed Custom Rom "I9300_Omega_v4.2_AOKP_Milestone_1_Jelly_Bean"
Flashed my Operator Rom back on
I have not backed up my EFS Folder and would not know how to
Reset flash counter
Now My IMEI number has changed but on the IMEI SV number, on the back of my phone the IMEI number ends with a ***** /09 but now I have flashed it ends with a /06 .... will that cause a issue, The long SIM number has not changed on the phone.
any suggestions please as I fear that if I send it off to samsung they will not fix as the IMEI SV number has changed and will charge me as they will sate it is out of warranty

[Q] Not registered on the network

Hi guys, i'm from Bulgaria and have a problem with my Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300.
When I put a sim card in and try to dial a number - "Not registered on the network".
I've tried more then 5 different roms (official from sammobile.com(4.1.2 and 4.3) and unofficial from xda forums 4.1.2), but every time pop up the error with network. Tried with Azrila patch and nothings goin' on.
I've tried to put another sim card and then error again. This and my sims are working in other phones normally
I've tried more then 10 time factory reset and so on.
The old owner of the phone probably was rooted the phone, because i've seen installed on it CWM 3.60 and android version was 4.1.2.
My IMEI and SN are correct in Android and on the label under the battery.
Now the phone was with official rom from sammobile 4.3.
The phone has no warranty.
Please can you help me to solve this bad problem.
Thanks.
IMEI blacklisted is most probable cause, followed by efs corruption, sim reader failure, wrong modem or other hardware issue.

Now i have to flash again but i don t know baseband version. I downloaded a firmware and shows me FAIL when i flashed with odin. I need this baseband version. Cand i find if i know the IMEI ? or can anybody help me?
I think you can find 'the best match' using chimera software which has sort of a firmware search for your phone's serial (11 characters long).
Your phone serial should be under your battery, somewhere near the IMEI.
If you want to use chimera, after you've registered, logged into the software and all that annoying stuff connect your phone, and after it gets recognized go to "Firmware Update" and complete the "serial number" field press "Autodetect latest" and it should give your some sort of a match. At least that worked for me.
Or PM me with the serial if you want to skip all the registering stuff because I already have a working account.

"Not registered on network" problem with correct IMEI

Hello All,
I am from Pakistan, and I have a Galaxy S3 I9300. I have upgraded it to 4.3 JB recently. I have flashed XXUGNA8 4.3 firmware for Pakistan, downloaded from sammobile. Everything works fine but I cannot make any calls. It says "not registered on network". However when I call the number from another phone, it rings but s3 doesn't receive any call.
I have tried many fixes given on the internet to no use. My IMEI is not corrupted. I have the same IMEI on the back under the battery as in the phone itself.
Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.
Problem has been solved by flashing XXUGMK6 firmware and the patched kernel and modem given here.

in need of serious help with my s5 g900t

My Samsung s5 tmobile has null imei, unknown baseband and blank servicemenu, I've tried different methods, I've flashed stock fog6, fol1 and even nk2 4.4.2 but it's still the Same. I don't have a backup of my efs. Can someone just please help me out, any suggestion or opinion would be greatly appreciated. Currently on stock fog6 and rooted
Try installing Samsung Kies 3 software. Download it straight from Samsung and install it on your PC. Write down your phone's SN (serial number) from the sticker behind the battery. Use kies to recover/reinitialize firmware. It will ask you 2 things: the phone model (SM-G900T) and the serial.
