I hope so. The actual Xposed plugin sadly doesn't seem to work The only thing that seem to work is the Boost mode

Indeed, even though the module is activated in xposed, Greenify doesn't seem to think so?

yeah the same problem here

I actually just experienced the same problem with a couple of other modules, so it' not Greenify-specific...

If boost mode works, then I am content for a start... Let's give people some time to adjust their code and weed out most bugs, shall we?

What is exactly boost mode? Sorry for the noob question but I started using Greenify in Android KitKat with ART and I never used the Xposed functions with Greenify
Sent from my Nexus 5

That's definitely a good news. I'm currently on the vocation of Chinese Spring Festival, I'll be working on it immediately after returning.

Thank you I'm on cm12 on Verizon note 2 and greenify does not recognize the new xsposed framework. So we can't enable all the pro features or modules.
I love your app and thankful for the work you do. I hate it when people complain something does not work and demand it to be fixed. Programming is not easy.

Funny thing is that greenify works here. I'm on lollipop, HTC ONE m7, sense 6 rom. Is it randomly not working for some people? How can one tell if it's not working?

Greenify works without Xposed. But there are certain 'experimental' features that require the framework.

When I try and select an experimental feature that requires xposed, it tells me I need to activate the greenify xposed module (already active) and reboot. Doesn't matter how often I try, it still says the same thing. I'm sure it'll get sorted eventually. Nexus 5 with cm12 5.02.

Yes, that's what we've been saying. This problem does not occur only with Greenify.

I don't use many xposed models. I guess it's in alpha still. Should be happy with it being available at all. Sounds like it was a bit of work.

I think Aroma makes people like me feel like we have a part in "building" our own rom. It's an awesome revelation the last year or so. Having said that, it's also cool to have a stripped down, no-thinking-needed rom like this.
thanks for all you do!
Thank you so much!
I have tried all the cleanroms and the stock roms you've made Scott. I don't care for Aroma much so all these roms have been perfect for me!
I'm so glad there are TW rom choices. Thank You for that!! Each new cleanrom is better than the last.. so many choices We really need a dual boot for this phone. BTW the new radio works good for me no problems. Thanks again for all your work. Loooooove it!
I didn't see it in the description, does this ROM unlock the stock wifi tether like your prior ROMs?
I did not notice it in the description either, but, i turned it on and it went into "checking subscription" and turned on. With Verizon, when i upgraded from the HTC Thunderbolt to the Note II, they kicked me from my unlimited data, so, i wont be using this function much. Glad work issues me an Android with unlimited (rooted that to while i was at it).
I don't have Hot Spot on my subscriptions, but, it turned on.

If you don't have unlimited data then the hotspot is included in your plan.
A hotspot widget will still work however data drops will ensue if you're on unlimited data. Still recommend using the wifi tether for root users.
I'm having a few instances of on screen soft buttons being unresponsive.

I always use the app Wifi Tether instead of the built in one, because it seems to give me higher internet speeds. Works perfectly with this ROM if you use this version with these settings:
Device-Profile: Generic ICS/JB (wlan0)
Setup-Method: Netd-Ndc (master)
Send Netd Max Client Cmd: check
Enable Wi-Fi Encryption: check
Change Passphrase: enter new password
WiFi driver reload 2: check
Routing fix: check (default)
Disable update check: check
Disable wake-lock: check (default)
Overall this ROM is great! I got it setup the way I like it and then odexed it using the Modaco "Odex Me" app. Really couldn't be more pleased with it. Signal/reception is as good as with any ROM I've used. Same for performance and battery life.
Yesterday was using Netflix heavily for much of the day and had the following numbers at the end of the day (I use Juice Defender, customized settings):

Multiwindow suggestion/question

Hey all;
I come from the samsung galaxy world and marvel at tits multi-windoing techniques. I can have OPEN at least 4 apps on my note3...
It seems that LG has something comparable; however, QSLIDE is limited to only a few apps.
My questions: Is there any way to modify this to allow for any user-chosen apps as with the samsug units???

Unfortunately I can't help you with your questions as I'm more than happy just having one screen up at a time. I did read about Omni roms multi window and that looks pretty good.
I'm sure I saw mention of it becoming a stand alone feature, although in alpha I think,
Worth having a read when you have time.

Xposed is compatible with most ROMs (unless the manufacturer changed A LOT of code that they shouldn't be touching). need root though, and not ART compatible (dunno if we have ART on this device anyway)
anyways, i've just compiled omni w/ multiwindow, take a look? don't require root (if you don't flash SuperSU), so might be better for some people (still need root to install custom recovery to flash)

LG has their own version of multi-window too (I'm not talking about qslide)
It works a lot like Samsungs version, the feature comes standard on the LG flex and LG pro2, but it had been ported to LG g2 successfully (along with some other great LG features. I wish someone would port those features for our tablet.

I was browsing the other G3 forums and it looks like CM has a lot of things broken stil. Camera, bluetooth and etc. So it may be awhile before we get a rom here that has enough working to be usable. Looks like we will need some sources for things like the laser focus on the camera and such. Hope something happens soon. Seems every phone short of Nexus is getting a hard to develop for.

LG has the source firmware for every variant available on their website so at least we have the necessary resources to make it happen. Unfortunately, when it comes to features like Knock-On and OIS, some features from the kernel source will have to be ported and implemented on a 4.4.4 kernel. This is usually not an easy task as Android kernels are written in C and the kernel for 4.4.4 has been more or less overhauled and restructured since 4.4.2. Android L's kernel could be a whole different beast since Google changed so much within subvariants of the same kernel. Hopefully, when the Nexus 6 is available, it's use of OIS on a 5.0 kernel could give us some insight as to how to go about porting it. Then again, the issue arises of differnet lens and laser manufacturers being used and the possibility of obfuscated code within the kernel to protect against modifications to hardware.
However, we need to keep up the positivity. Now that every G3 variant has been Bump'd it is only a matter of time before we see some fully-functional AOSP love on this beautiful device.
please please i want aosp or else im selling!

I'm super excited to announce Carbon Rom for the Jewel!!! It's been a long time since I've seen this one on this device. I hope you enjoy it, along with the other ROMs I have helped push out for this device. More details to come. For now, clean wipe, flash, and enjoy!!!
NOTE: May not run on first bootup. If not, just restart the phone, and it'll push through fine.
As with all my ROMs, I suggest the latest TWRP for recovery.
I also suggest Slim Gapps for packages.

Special thanks to Carbon team, and CyanogenMod team, both of whose code I used to make this possible.

No. Way. I was a big fan of Carbon way back when, glad to see this back up on LP! Thanks for your work =)
Edit: Install worked great and I'm up and running; all features seem to be functional as far as I can tell. This runs nice and light, very snappy!
I noticed that there have already been several downloads of Carbon. I'm glad to see people at least giving this one a look. I'm not a guy who is too picky on features, so I can switch from one ROM to the next without missing much. For the time being, I'm on Carbon, and I haven't had any hiccups.
One quick note here, be sure to check your ringer volume. For some reason, although my volume was ON, it sounded way soft to where I didn't even know it was ringing. Maybe it's just me, but check to see that you have your ringers working properly by calling your phone.
First, thank you for your effort in in keeping this device relevant when most others have moved on(which of course is understandable). Much appreciated
I haven't seen any issues with the ringer volume. In fact, I find all the audio through the device's speaker much fuller and louder! Very surprised that the device is capable of this volume.
The 2 issues I've seen with this ROM are:
1) Relatively weak battery life compared to 5.1 PAC ROM beta's and Unity ROM 5.1 . Its dropping from fully charged at 10:00 PM to ~60% in the morning without any use. I've used it for 4 days now and will give it a few more days to settle down. It could also be the half-popped kernel with double tap to wake feature.
2) Notifications are not readable due to white text on white background

Yes! I'm using it, and I have been since I first got it working. I can say that after a LOT of use, I have had a couple of random reboots, but it wasn't enough to turn me away. Everything works for me like it should. If you're interested, you really should give it a go (if you haven't yet).
Secondly, @7357, I noticed you have listed in your tag an older TWRP version. The newest one can be found at https://twrp.me/devices/htcevo4glte.html. At the time of this writing, it's version 2.8.7.0. You'll notice that CaptainThrowback is one of the maintainers there. Give it a flash if you haven't!

Is this ROM compatible with the rest of the 2017G phones or is intended only for Germany?, because for example, in Spain they have a B09 which other countries don't have.

Thanks for answer, too bad we couldn't get Nougat on January, but let's hope the developers can wipe out the most bugs they can.
Every OEM has been having troubles with the Nougat update, even Google with the Nexus phones, and some of them have even rolled back globally the whole update after some days of release it.
I just hope to get a stable nice update, no matter if it take a couple of weeks later.
Thanks for all the information!

It is still undergoing beta testing, I assume you would like a bugfree version right? Then be patient!
Can someone pull the ROM or take a logcat to see the link - thnx !
adb logcat > A2017GB10.txt
do it BEFORE ota update
I can confirm they fix the broken lock screen.
Now it's just like before B08 that broke that.
Good job by ZTE.
Hope next month for as much bug free Nougat upgrade.

Stop complaining? Why? I can understand you, but If they announce it several times and don't deliver something...is it not their own fault? Just saying...no hate.

Can you explain more about this?, I don't see how the lock screen was broken or buggy, I haven't had any problem yet with it and I'm still on B08.
Maybe something I haven't noticed yet?.

When you get notification and pull it down, it should stay down, however it goes to the top of the screen and small.
This is fixed in B10.
