[Q] Adjustment of Standart Dock Buttons / Pulldown Menu - Themer General Discussion

Hi everybody and thanks for a lot of awesome work on Themer.
Two things really bother me so far:
1.
A lot of themes do have standard buttons in the dock: Phone, Messages, Apps, Email and Camera.
Let's say, I want to have my Browser there instead of the email button. Is there any way to get a standart
icon for (in this example but not limited to) the browser, which integrates nicely into the theme or must the
designer provide this button? On the same note, I feel it's difficult to find these standart icons in the first place,
where are they saved?
2.
Pulldown menu. I managed to switch off my standard pulldown menu (in my case CM 11). But the Themer
Pulldown menu lacks a lot of features like switching my mobile data on/off, toggling my position or vibrate mode.
Is there any way to extend or modify the possibilities in the pulldown menu?
Thanks from my side.

[Q] Edit the content of the Power bar, change the Dialer

Hello.
Is there any roms out there with the possibility for editing the content(functions) in the status/power bar. I miss the possibility
1. enabling/disabling data connection, enable/disable sync,
2. Make the status/power bar disappear after selecting desire function. Today we have to use an extra clikk to get rid of the bar.
3. The GO Dialer is also better than the dialer on SGS2. Do I have too root the device to be able to use GO Dialer as default. (i have installed GO Dialer, but the phone(Green) button always starts the original one.
4. The time it takes for the display become visible after a call is to long, or is it me?
As you can tell, i am one of the least experienced in this area, and you also can tell that I am not an English teacher. LOL.
Thank you for your patience with me.
I also look for the same buttons as we had in the HTC Sense
1. enabling/disabling data connection, enable/disable sync,
Can anyone please help in this.

Placing a full-size widget in the notification-bar pull-down menu?

In lieu of getting split-screen functionality,
would it be possible to enable the placement of regular widgets in the notification bar pull-down/pull-up menu? How much work would that entail, and of what sort?
Basically, I'd like to be able to place in the notification bar menu the same widgets I can now place on the home screen, eg. evernote, facebook, e-mail. Would it be at all doable?

[Q] WidgetLocker Toggle Icon Help

I'm looking for a way to create toggle icons for widgetlocker sliders (not touch widgets, want it in slider form).
The couple such as brightness and sound that are built in can just be changed in the theme but I was hoping someone could help with making extra working toggle icon.
For instance, widget locker doesn't have a wifi action, I can use a Tasker Shortcut to switch the wifi on and off, just need a way for the icon to change with it.
Thanks for any help to come.
Anyone?
Come on. Anyone?
Sounds simple enough but can't figure out any way to have the icon switch. There are ones for the brightness and sound, I just want to add more for the mobile data, wifi & bluetooth.
Toggle button
Hi,
Do you know if exists (or how create) a toggle boutton (custom slider ?) that would allow me :
1 / state 1 : display an icon n°1 (for the button) and launch a shortcut n°1
2 / by clicking the button, it will switch from previous state n°1 to new state n°2
3 / state 2 : display another icon n°2 and launch another shortcut n°2
It sounds simple to do (1 button toggles in 2 states with 2 icons) but can not (and yet , I spent time for)
Kinds Regards

Hi Tali 099 !
Thanks for the answer but ...
My many searches have done NO result for exactly what I want (often the founded buttons can launch app like GTW+, BUT not shortcuts)
I found tutorial for drawing under WidgetLocker BUT I have not found how to set 1 action for 1 state (even the iPhone button that looks like a toggle is in fact a simple one state button ...)
If you have any specific leads (app's name, etc) that do what I want, please, give them to me
THANKS
Laurent

No settings in notification bar

I tried another launcher than stock but I switched back because there where no settings/shortcut icons (wi-fi on off etc.) there. But now I can't get them back. Where are they? I just have notifications now.
Have I messed with some setting somewhere or what?
/Marcus
With the modified EUI, there are no Quicksettings in Notification area. You have to press the softkey left (= square, Menu Button) to launch the "recent apps" screen with shortcuts to most system settings und some (configurable) other shortcuts...
Aha! Thanks. There they where. Not a good place in my opinion. Really bad place to have "shortcuts" on
other question about the notification bar. Is their a way to change the really small fonts against bigger ones ? Sometimes it's hard to view the ultra small icons and letters in the notification bar. It's so small that I believe I need glasses. I'm on EUI 5.9.23S

Frank

Tips for anyone wanting to use their Note 8 in full screen - NO status or nav bar

I've been using AOSP roms on various phones for quite some time and have gotten hooked on using my phone in full screen while using PIE to navigate. Especially on a large phone i find this so so so much easier. Here are some tips i found out through trial and error to what i've found is an awesome experience. I'm using a rooted NF50F which makes doing this easier, though it still can be accomplished unrooted
1. To navigate around your phone use the best Pie application out there imo which is supported on these forums as well LMT
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150
this app is so great because of how you can customize it. there are other non root alternatives in the play store but this is the best imo if you have root.
2. fully hide the navigation bar so it never pops up - this is the only way you can use LMT on the bottom of your phone which is excellent for one handed browsing. to do this you need to add the following line to the build.prop and the nav bar is gone forever even after reboots
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
add this line to the bottom of your build prop and save. if you ever want the keys back change the number to 0.
3. use the app SystemUI Tuner to hide the status bar. go under the immersive mode tab and select status bar. Note - you can also hide the nav bar with this app, but it is not fully hidden as it still appears with any upward swipe.
4. I turn edge lighting on so i see notifications when my phone is on. i don't want the entire message shown on my screen so edge lighting works great for me and is a great feature of this phone. you can even get edge lighting working with gmail. i also use textra pro for texting.
there are different ways to make your phone truly immersive including Xposed but if you don't want to used Xposed this is the best solution IMO.
other recommended apps:
Light Flow - to customize your led notification light
bx actions - https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...-bxactions-remap-bixby-button-double-t3673372
material notification shade - can auto expand all notifications and get dark notifications
autonotifications - you can add more buttons to gmail like mark as read, spam, etc
