[Q] Please help to unbrick my Huawei Mediapad 7lite

Hi, recently I rooted my Huawei Mediapad 7lite. I was enjoying the root but every now and then I was trying to upgrade the things that I don't know how to do. I downloaded this app called Pimp my rom (beta) yesterday and in it I found this thing called upgrade the sd card (internal) and I clicked that just to know what happens, but then it went for reboot and on my screen it appeared 'Fail'. And since then I am not able to switch on my tablet. I mean when I switch it on, only the Huawei icon appears. That's it. Nothing further. I guess my tablet is bricked. So plz help me unbrick. Thank you.
I also downloaded the Firmware from Huawei website of my mediapad but unfortunately that also didn't work.
In the SD card log when I checked, I found this error-
entry SDCARD upgrade...
sd_update_path =/mnt/sdcard2/dload/update.app
update_type = 0
W:failed to mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p1 (No such file or directory); trying /dev/block/mmcblk0

PLEASE HELP ME...!!!

[SOLVED] Springboard problem, VERY STRANGE, please help

T-Mobile Springboard S7-303u
Was on S7-301u stock, works perfectly
Tried to update SuperSU from CWM
I might messed up and mis-flashed the CM10.1 Sep.10 by after_silence
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2045808
Rebooted, stuck at the Huawei logo screen (logo, instead of boot animation)
dload folder stock recovery, still stuck at the Huawei logo
Fastboot fine, free to flash recoveries
Formatted everything in TWRP, flashed CM10.1
Booted into system perfectly, IMEI/MAC all gone
Reflashed several times, still only CM10.1 works, with IMEI CHANGED!!!!!!
IMEI SV: 00
SIM lock also relocked (previously unl*cked might be related to changed IMEI)
Even with the T-Mobile SIM, can call/text/HSPA+
Correctly reads SIM operator, blank Net operator
Additional observations:
Only cm10.1 kernel will boot system
With stock kernel + cwm/twrp, cannot manipulate internal storage (system/data/cache...)
A white screen right before booting into recovery
TWRP keeps saying "Unknown File System: datamedia" "Updating partition details..."
It looks to me:
1) internal storage is either collapsed or changed into some different format (only accessible by cm10.1 kernel)
2) to the hell of it I cannot understand where does the different IMEI come from
3) collapsed radio files? (ADB pushed Tmobile stock before flashing cm10.1)
Please kindly input. I do not care about stock ROM, I just want my original IMEI back, want correct Net Operator, want SIM lock gone. Ideally the storage is restored, so that it is back to normal...
Many thanks to all!

hi all, my friend got mediapad and he wanted custom rom so I flashed twrp recovery and his tablet became bricked, it shows huawei logo, then white screen and then after few seconds it shuts down, I tried to restore my backup to his tablet (CM10.1) via twrp and then it booted without problems but when I do wipe data/actory reset, the white screen and bootloop appears again, where is the problem? in twrp recovery? should I choose cwm for his device? twrp shows error "E: unknown filesystem datamedia" (also on my device but mine works without problems)
thanks for any help

Just a follow-up to my earlier "used twrp to wipe everything": re-applied (i.e.
$ fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
with the trwp.img from auto_recovery, but booting the system still goes through the same process:
teamwin logo, then:
E:Unable to mount '/data'
E:Unable to recreate /data/media folder
E: Unknown File System: 'datamedia'
Updating partition details...
E:Unable to mount '/data'
E:Unable to mount internal storage
E:Unable to mount /data/media during GUI startup
E:Unable to locate page (main2)
Formatting Cache using make_ext4fs...
Done
E:Unable to mount /data when trying to read settings file
E:Unable to mount '/data'
After the above, if I power down and back up, I go back to log screen, then immediately "Encryption unsuccessful", with the two options:
"Reset tablet"
and
"Encrypt tablet" ... choosing the latter asks for a key which I do not have. Choosing the former goes to ... you guessed:
teamwin logo, then
E:Unable to mount '/data'
E:Unable to recreate /data/media folder...
Any ideas how to recover from this?

This might not be the case because the stock firmware was once working...
but if there are 2 versions of mediapad, CM could have support for only one....it can be something like on my HTC Desire S (first models have sony displays and second made in 2012 have hitachi mddi displays) - I have version with MDDI display and therefore CM does not boot on my device but stock firmware works on both versions...so maybe SU-303u is a bit different than SU-301u

you said that you got message about unsuccessfull encryption, why did you wanted to encrypt your device? maybe it failed and now partitions are unaccessible or corrupted

That's not what I said, but some quotes from others...
I never tried to encrypt, but I will try to encrypt and decrypt and see if it helps.
you can try flash stock rom via fastboot manually every partition

Is there any detailed instruction of how to do this? I tried fastboot push of a bunch of files from T-Mobile stock rom, but it did not help.
Not sure if it is the same thing as flashing partitions...
unzip the stock rom somewhere, boot tablet into fastboot mode, connect usb, then open cmd, change working dir to dir with unpacked zip and via command 'fastboot flash <partition> <filename>' flash every file, partition names are the same as files names (but without extension)

Tried and did not help. This is actually what dload folder is exactly doing...
Now it is not the contents in those partitions are corrupted, but the partitions themselves are corrupted. Pushing recovery files in whatever way won't fix partitions...
Problem solved by luck.
Flashed TMO stock
then S7-302u stock
booted into system
said "last encryption failed, encrypt again or reset?"
chose reset
then everything back to normal
never tried to encrypt the tablet
not sure what happened.
might be some bug in the stock S7-301u ROM
which told the tablet to do crazy things.
Congrats :good:
Can you share your both files which makes you happy

I'm not a smart man don't know where to go from here with soft bricked HTC One (AT&T)

I'm not a smart man don't know where to go from here with soft bricked HTC One (AT&T)
Was experimenting with different stuff on my phone and currently on S-Off HBoot 1.44. I was tried to flash a new 4.4 ROM over and somewhere in there something went wrong. Went to backup file and everything was fine, decided to just try and wipe everything on phone (made backup files of everything and have the files in a folder on desktop) and that's where my troubles began. Taking advice from a friend of mine I ended up relocking the bootloader (mistake #1), so of course everything on phone was wiped. I was trying to do adb sideload to push a new rom after unlocking the bootloader again. The computer sees my device in adb on the cmd window. Says:
HT359W917890 recovery
but in sideload in TWRP it says:
E: Unable to mount
I'm guessing its because I no longer have the files on the phone or a stock anything on it. Please help me out here been messing around with it for about 3 hours now running in circles. I'm sure I'm missing an easy step in here but I've been reading all over and am starting to think this **** is pretty hopeless at this point.
Put the rom you are wanting to flash in the folder you are using to open the cmd window and type
adb push nameofrom.zip /sdcard/
I wake up from a nap, see your reply and try it out....now computer isn't seeing my device in adb again. This is so frustrating, back to square one I suppose
okay rebooted the phone and device is showing in adb again (yay) pushed the file through but I'm still getting the
E: Unable to mount '/data'
E: Unable to mount internal storage
any suggestions here?
SOLVED
All solved solved the E: Unable to mount issue by going into TWRP settings and doing a format data wipe. The pushed the file from the computer and voila all solved, I really appreciate the help man!

[Q] SGPT111us/S stuck on boot... ?

I apologize in advance for posting this kind of thread for the 100th time (as I've read similar ones around). I still couldn't find one that may have a solution. I'm not an Android user, so this is all new to me. I got this Sony Tablet S stuck on a bootloop. I can't do anything but enter the hard reset/recovery screen I think it's called... ? I figured maybe re-installing its firmware from the SD Card would do, but I don't know which one it had before (it's a friends tablet that I'm attempting to fix). I think it may be one called Ice Cream Sandwich since I read it on some other thread. Where can I find it and how can I do this? Is there a go-to for-dummies kind of guide? haha. Sorry. I'm really lost when it comes to rom talk and whatnot, so be gentle, lol.
Thank you for reading. Don't mean to waste anyone's time.
Attached a picture, just in case.
Don't judge me for this being my first post. I probably created this account, left it laying around and never came back. I just tried it cause it's my usually my username and it was taken. Found out it really was mine. :/

When I try to install from SD Card, it says "E:failed to mount /sdcard (no such file or directory)"
It's the only thing on your FAQ that I tried, since it's the "brick" thing that I think is where I'm at.
Also, (don't know if this would help) tried using the ADB Driver Installer but the drivers are not installing either... I went to the device manager and tried to do it manually, didn't work either. Android Composite ADB Interface "The hash file for the file is not present for the specified catalog file. The file is likely corrupt or the victim of tampering".
Unfortunetly i have the same issue! :/ and now i dont know to do..
Generaly my tablet s stuck's on bootloop (sony logo)
I can enter recovery mode (with some errors.. cant find, cant mount etc.)
When im picking flash from SDCard tablet says E:/ cant mount /sdcard
and then shows empty card :/
PLS help!

ROOT SM-J600FN/DS Problem

Hello,
first of all sorry for my bad english
i have a samsung galaxy J6 and i need to unlock the sim network, when i search in the forum i found this topic so to be able to do that i need to root the phone, when i download the official TWRP i flush it with odin it's not working, he stay with the original recovery, so i need to flash it 2 time to work, when it's done i have another problem when i want to flush the last SuperSu or Magisk zip file, i have this error : Unable to mount /data or /system error
so i search in internet for a solution i found that i need to go in recovery / wipe / select data / repair or change file system / change file system / and select F2FS then do the same to go back in EXT4, but i dont have "F2SF" !!! i have EXT2/3/4 and FAT ans exFAT
when i do choose FAT and go back to EXT4 it seem ok and i can flush SuperSu file with recovery, but when it reboot, it's stuck in the boot animation and reboot again and again and again, so i need to flush the official stock room to make it start...
can anyone help please ? i am lost
PS : the bootloader is unlock
You will most likely need to FORMAT DATA (not just a wipe) to get over the /data not mounting
This is because your stock kernel enforces encryption.
You will lose all data by doing this, though.

Up
From TWRP, go to WIPE and you should see an option down there to FORMAT DATA. It will ask you to type "yes" on the keyboard to continue. That is how you format data
Anyone please can tell me how they get this phone into download mode?
I have been trying until 4 AM last night searching the internet and this forum but it seems impossible to get to download mode
I can go to (the original) recovery and this happens when i press power + up but also when i press power + down or power + up + down.
I bought it yesterday and i am about to sell it again because an unrooted phone is simply useless for me (needed for android auto in my car)

Hello. I have Samsung J6 SM-J600FN / DS. This is Dual Sim. The problem is that it has an android version of 32 bit. Is it possible to change the android system to a 64 bit version? The processor supports 64 bit. It's the son's phone and he's throwing him a fortnite game because he has wrong timing of the system, it's just 32 bit. I am from Poland and it would be nice if he had this language but also enough with English.

No, Samsung only has this phone running on 32 bits. Can't run in 64 bits even if the processor supports it. Only people that can make it run 64 bit is Samsung themselves.
Hello, did you find a solution to root or instal, TWRP in this device?
I couldn't find too threads about this model (SM-G600FN)
