Hello!
I am wondering why my G5 doesnt display my contacts photographs when they phone me, i know its a small thing but id like to see their photo on the screen, it just shows an empty box where on my contact list it shows their images from facebook- any ideas?
Also i was wondering where i can find high quality wallpapers for my Galaxy 5 as most of the images i find are extremely low quality and i like to have nice clean crisp home screens, finally is their any ADW theme in the AndroidMarket that gives me the following effect:
On my dock bar it will say 'ContactList' instead of an icon, 'AppDrawer' instead of the icon, 'PhoneCalls' instead of an icon etc.

Hi folks... I'm hoping someone can give me a quick answer to my silly question.
On my Transformer Prime (stock, latest OS), a launcher update wiped out some of my display settings, and in getting it set back up again, one thing is stumping me.
I used to have it so that on the slide-out side bar (show/hide via down-swipe) had only the icons I added, and the placeholder spots were empty/transparent.
Now those placeholder spots show a "+" icon... and I can't remember how to clear those, nor can I remember what that side bar is actually called, so I'm having no luck searching for my answer. The downside of turning 40.
Help is appreciated.
Hi. I did a quick search for "white balance" in this forum and, even though I did find suggestions for better white tones than stock RGB, I think I wanted to go a bit of a different direction.
Fo those who come from previous phones/FW versions, like the ZL, you may have noticed that Sony changed a bit the way you configure the white balance feature in the Z2. Previously, you could set both the screen hue and saturation, which provided very good results to me as I was able to set whites to any color temp I liked. Now you set the hue with direct RGB values, and the saturation bar is no longer there. I quite frankly hated the new version because now I can't seem to achieve the same level of image quality that I had in my ZL, which is quite frankly unbelievable, because now that we finally have a quality IPS panel in the Xperia line with the Z2, I feel it isn't on par with the TFT experience I was able to get on the ZL with the perfect white balance app.
So I guess my question is, how can I port the ZL white balance over to the Z2 ROM? I am acquainted with the whole root thing, which I have done with my Z2, so I have already copied the white-balance.apk file from ZL to the Z2 and put it in system\apps with the correct permissions, but it did not work - in fact, I lost the wb feature completely from the Settings. One thing is that I have a deodexed ROM on the ZL, while on the Z2 it is still odexed (I did delete the .odex file when making the copy, though). Anyway, I think it just doesn't work out of the box like that.
Again I can get good values from the current app, but that's not what I want. I want to be able to configure it in the Z2 exactly like we were able to in the ZL. Is there a way?

1. modify the apk to work with Z2 which im not going to explain if you dont know how... too complicated and will take way too long
2. try copying the whitebalance apk, this should work if your ZL has 4.4 KK
3. use an alternate

1. I am no programmer/developer, but I think I could get around with the code. But I have really no idea of what to do. You don't need to explain, but do you have any leads or links?
2. Tried that and it didn't work. I will deodex my current stock ROM though (on the Z2) and check again if that works.

I have my first experience of this ZTE Nubia Z7 Max since October last year. I was really really happy with it for this 7 months. But lately i observe some of the bugs/shorts. Here are they:
1.When i slide the screen down as i 'm browsing the news from UC browser, i observe the fonts on the screen comes blurrer and blurrer. And it gives me a strong feeling of lags.
2.On main interface. It's supposed to drag the icon after you give it a long-time push. I open the folder(as i put a lot of icons into the folder so i need to slide the list to find what i want)and wanna find a icon. But what it shows is that i'm dragging a icon and sliding with it. Actually i'm not mean to drag it though i just want to slide the list.
3.The battery is going to lose quicker and quicker.
4.The fonts in message is getting smaller without a reason.
5.When i reboot my phone, some rooted apps ask for root again.
Is there anybody can help me out?

Got this device yesterday and im truly amazed by it, its a great upgrade from the samsung s7 edge (which was a really good phone).
however the icons on the top are too small, i have to really focus and look close to see the time and the notification icons, in the sun its worse, is there a way to make the icons bigger?
second thing is that i have placed whatsapp in the line under the main screen, and i want to add it again on the next page, how can i do that? i tried everything, you just cant add the same app twice, why?
