Xposed and the Nexus 10 - Nexus 10 General

So Xposed was updated for Lollipop. How many of you are using it with the Nexus 10? I was using CM12 before Xposed and when I first tried installing it, it worked. Then I tried updating the nightly and flashing Xposed again and boot looped. Since then, I couldn't get it flashed on CM12 again. I decided to try an AOSP ROM and went with Dirty Unicorns. Xposed works just fine on that one. So anyone else using Xposed? What ROM are you using it with? Anyone having any issues? What modules are you using? I was thinking of using this thread as a general Xposed discussion since I didn't see another one.

I also had problems with bootloops while flashing the alpha xposed build..
Since the i reflashed cm12 and eagerly waiting for a more stable xposed build!

Running the extended boot menu mod right now. Looking forward to a gravity box release

I'm not so sure its xposed that's causing the problem. My Nexus 5 hasn't had any issues. I've only had issues on CM12 on the nexus 10. But as i mentioned, its been running good on the dirty unicorn ROM which is an aosp ROM.

I've installed Xposed GEL settings and flat style colored bars. Both running good. For some reason, i can't get the status and nav bars on the home screen to be transparent though.

I'm running Xposed with no issues on Purity ROM. Tried to use GEL Settings but that was a mess. Can't figure out a good configuration for my homescreen grids and icon sizes, etc..etc... Anyone have a suggestion about that?
I'd love to have some sort of fullscreen Zooper widget overlay on my homescreens but alas that kind of thing is above my abilities. Lol

I just tried Alpha 2 of xposed on my Manta. Still getting stuck on boot.
Using CM12 and Khaon Kernel

Alpha 2.. Running Logs filter, Xinstaller, media scanner optimizer, unified nlp, YouTube adaway.. Works fine.

Had it installed on CM12. Everything was working fine. I updated and it bootlooped. Whoops.
I had CF Lumen installed also so I'm not sure which one broke it. In recovery I wiped /system, flashed the rom, GAPPS, su (because it is better than CM12's), then xposed. Booted up fine and worked perfectly.
Did have to have a second reboot because of BBS/CF Lumen but that was expected.

Hmm. So you guys are on cm12 and xposed is working?
Weird.. How long does it take to boot after you flash xposed? Maybe i am not waiting long enough..
EDIT
Just recovered some storage from system partition using this. Flashed xposed and finally booted fine. I guess i was out of storage in my system partition
Thx and great work to Khaon!

My grid size is 5x7. I think that's a pretty good size for the screen.

I had too many issues with CM12. But I switched to Dirty Unicorns (an AOSP based ROM) and have had zero issues.

I found I first had to install the partition "fix" to expand its size, then wipe cache/Davlik before it worked .

Anyone tried CM13 yet?
I can't post the link because of my low post count but if you visit invisiblek's site, he has some unofficial builds.
I decided to give it a go. So far so good. Didn't even do a clean install and it hasn't crashed at all. Everything I have tested seems to work (calls, data, camera). Only issue is no quick tile customization menu
Edit: Found QT customization, needed to enable System UI tuner by holding down the gear in the pull down menu

Are you on MDK?
Looks like there is one issue, all incoming calls show unknown number. Quite possibly due to the dirty flash. I will probably try a clean install over Thanksgiving. Overall quite a solid ROM. Bravo to all the devs involved!

I wouldn't suggest updating from CM12.1 to CM13 using the latest zip. Maybe CM13 is going to require a fresh flash.
I made a NANDroid and gave it a go. The update to CM13 wasn't so bad, you just have to grant all permissions to the system updater after the .zip update: http://forum.cyanogenmod.org/topic/118479-cm13-setup-wizard-has-stopped-working/page__st__20
It was the GApps that bugged. I tried the Nano package from http://opengapps.org. Error prompts with GMail, Keep and others persisted. Had to restore CM12.1.
Maybe just me but I am noticing significantly better battery life with CM 13 compared to CM 12.1

I managed to get it working by flashing Lolliviper from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/google-nexus-5/themes-apps/discussion-viper4android-t2543796
At the end of the OP there's a link to LolliviperROUND which uses the external speaker for stereo audio however I haven't tried that out yet. For the standard V4A, just flash Lolliviper.zip from recovery or through Flashify and reboot. The V4A app will be in the app drawer and you just proceed as usual
Hit the thanks button if I helped! :fingers-crossed:

Yes, you need to be rooted to flash v4a I suggest the kingroot then replace with supersu method.. barely took 5 minutes
Honestly speaking.. do not see a difference.. :v

[ROM][AOSP] JDM [3-27-2016][SuperSu][Busybox][Tethering]

INFO About Me:
I have developed ROMs in the past for devices since the good old Windows Mobile days. I don't generally like to have very long opening posts for anything that I share with the public, I just like things to be simple and straight to the point. I more than likely will not ever have screenshots and banners all over the place because I am very old school about posting a ROM. I generally like my ROMs to be clean and dialed back on features since most of what's out there I will never use, also I do not build ROMs for you I build ROMs for me then share with you and I also only build for a device that I currently own and use as my daily driver.
INFO About JDM:
JDM is built on the idea of being a very clean "stock replacement" ROM with limited features for your Nexus device. This project is based off of the Android Open Source Project.
This ROM is pre-rooted (SuperSu) and you will need to flash a gapps packages, I use OpenGapps, but you may flash whatever you want. I found out that Layers will work with this rom, however I don't use it so support for it is solely on you.

For the record SuperSu v2.52 is fine. DU and a few other developers still use it in their roms they release.
Nobody knows whether this build has force encryption? Op? I'm thinking it hasn't been touched and still forces encryption as its not mentioned in the op.

Layers confirmed working
Ah yeah I'm gonna have to touch that op up some, yeah I didn't disable encryption. I don't use root apps so I didn't root and the ROM is de-odexed user builds.
No SuperSU is fine with me. Same with encryption.
Super smooth with stock AK kernel and encryption disabled. Runs great, with great battery life.

Hey all,
Just wanted to let everyone know I now have a working Custom Rom port from the U11. This port has a few minor bugs I'm working on, home button does not work, signal for Tmobile cuts in and out, and DPI needs adjusted. So with that said, Once I get the bugs worked out and reach out to the Rom Dev we will have a custom rom port.
*Home button fixed*----- Finger print scanner not working yet
*Screen DPI fixed*
Testing signal now.

The more the merrier. There's some In testing that are waiting to be uploaded by others but more choices is always better. Once Oreo drops for T-Mobile then we can add more.

Yeah if you could upload that would be awesome! I'm willing to give it a flash
OK , this is a beta , only thing I found so far that isn't working is mobile hot spot . FYI this is mainly based off of T-Mobile version , but should work on unlocked version as well . Feedback is appreciated.

Your choice. This is a rooted rom, during flash you will have the option of su or Magisk.

Is it built in, like when I flash the ROM zip, I'll have root already? Or do I need to flash su/magisk myself after the ROM?
Thanks!

So it has an aroma installer?

Well I'm downloading regardless. It says it's going to take upwards of 2 hours to download (no idea why). I'll give feedback once it's done and I flash
Thanks again!

Yes, and I just realized why the hot-spot wasn't working . I will be fixing it in the am and RE uploading. Yes it has aroma, it's a slightly modified stock rom. Not getting too heavy into it just yet, Oreo will be out real soon for T-Mobile and once it does I will jump on that.
