.exe download file? Kind of suspicious...
Download links raise red flags with anti-virus software. Downloading with the anti-virus off downloads a bootanimation.zip.exe file. The .exe extension concerns me. Can you provide alternative direct links for the .zip file?

Can u plz make XU version

Uncheck Download with Dev-Host Download Manager and click on Download Now, Then it should download a .zip file instead of an .exe

@pawankonjarla + fozinahwi guys please don't quote the whole OP, can you edit your posts and unquote them..
I'll make XU versions and add them here..

That's strange...I'm not getting any uncheck box (image attached). Tried different browsers to no avail...

The Animation is set to loop until the boot process is finished.. depending on how long your device takes to boot-up it may end up at different positions (frames) or did you mean the animation get stuck at green right?
What do you mean no network? did you let the device settle after the boot for few minutes..

Like I said if the boot is finished then its normal. I'm not sure what's causing the network issue, try cache/dalvik-cache wipe.

Hey, I've downloaded Bounce Dark v1 for my XP, but it didn't work. All I could see during boot was black screen.
Then I've repacked it with no compression and tried again. Now it work like a charm. Thx
Bounce Dark v1-XP fixed: d-h.st/XTil

Hey , whoever made this did a really great job.
I really like those swallow and ace animations, however i don't know how it works...apk?
Could you please make a version that you can use on any phone, like a zip file - it doesn't even need to be flashable,
because i know how to make my own boot animations and i would just need the pictures.

Legend BIOS POST bootanimation.zip

Hey guys,
I've liked the various BIOS POST boot animations available, but all of the ones I'd seen to date either refer to a hacked/over clocked device, or show the Android version at some point during it - so I wanted to make one that kept it generic and close to stock. Plus I wanted to have a crack at it for myself, and put some of my own touches on it.
I’m still working on some of the timings for this, so I welcome any feedback.

Some component’s based on frysee's boot animation (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=648555), but everything else except for the Energy Star logo, and (frysee's) Android boot screen are original.

ICavalera, read the thread here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14383699 regarding the Boot Animation Installer. You can easily install any boot animation with that.
Thanks, but i want boot animation for legend to use with that software.

Ahh gotcha. Boot animations aren't phone specific. Hell, my BIOS one will work on any HVGA device, it's just the hardware information I wrote on the screen matches that inside the Legend.
You will need to make sure that any boot animation you load is the right resolution though (HVGA for the Legend), otherwise it'll look crap.
You'll find two types of boot animations floating round the forums
- ones that are the bootanimation.zip archive only (containing the png images and script)
- flashable files (containing the bootanimation.zip archive) which you install using CWM/Recovery.
Easiest way to check is if you download a boot animation zip and open it in WinRAR/7-zip. If it contains "Part0" and "Part1" folders, it'll work with Bootanimation Installer v3.3.

Boot Animations Update Thread HTC ONE MAX

I have seen the boot up/down animations on japodude's thread. Was wondering if someone could do some like that, that the community could get their hands on. I have looked through the threads for HTC one max, before asking this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2534044 is the exact location of Thread, would like to see if someone could make some that could be flashed from recovery. If I have overlooked a Thread of this type, other then the dead thread I apologize. Thank you.

mbl: I gave my first crack at this, and here is what I came up with for a boot animation. It does not play continuously through till the phone is fully booted on my One Max, but it does when testing it on my PC...could be the ROM I am using. If you try it let me know.
Edit: I had too many images in one of the folders, I removed the images and now the animation works properly.

Do I need to remove anything from the file I just down loaded from you? I flashed the zip from recovery and it failed. wiped and tried once more I cant seem to get it to flash. Thanks again for your work.
Sorry about that, you have to manually replace the boot animation via a file explorer with root permissions. It should go in the following location /system/customize/resource, and the give the permissions rw,r,r. Not sure how to make them flashable yet. I apologize for the lack of information. I am also working on some another currently.

I also just noticed I didn't mention what it was, but its a Packers boot up. I am currently working on a Cowboys one now, and then a Jessica Alba.

[Bootanimation] - Despicable Me

I own a verizon galaxy note 3, so i posted in that specific device thread but thought i'd post here too for anyone who uses this thread also. original post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-galaxy-note-3/themes-apps/bootanimation-despicable-t2816056
ok guys, i wanna thank you for your bootanimations, especially the Marvels Avengers Sequence, and the most recently uploaded Marvel-DC=Clash from this thread by KachowPow: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2611238 ( INSTALLATION is the same process as the linked thread so if you are not sure how to put these on your phone, follow the above link for instructions)
after following the tutorials to try and make my own bootanimations, and much trial and error i finally got some to work if anyone is willing to test them out. Both with the Despicable Me theme, so i included the PowerOn.ogg file which is just a short instrumental clip of the theme song for the first movie. its in both the zip files IF you chose to use it, but its not necessary. So without further ado, i present to you my first 2 bootanimations ever.
(These previews are compressed and the actual bootanimation should look better)
First, i found these images minion superhero images from here: http://introspect37.tumblr.com/ (search "minion"). I did not create them, i just cleaned them up and made them all uniform in size for our purposes here. this is where i started, they were all still images so not much "animation" here but i still like it. i wish the background colors were all the same, but again, i was not the original creator of these artworks.

These 2 Despicable Me bootanimations are for Samsung TouchWiz roms and you need to have root and replace the files in /system/media/ and the sound file is in the /ui / folder in that directory. Back up the original files before replacing. You also need to change permissions of the files to rw-r-r and reboot.
I do have the original files to create a flashable zip but I'll work on that and test it on an old phone and post the links later.

[MOD] [BOOTANIMATION] Oxygen OS Stock [Colors] [Rainbow Special Edition] Jun 22

Hi guys,
So after seeing the Colette Oneplus Bootanimation, I decided to try other options. Eventually, I would like to do a new bootanimation for each accent on Oxygen OS.
Instructions:
1. Go to /system/media and rename your current bootanimation to bootanimation.zip.bak (just to have a backup, if you don't do this you will have to dirty flash your ROM).
2. Download your preferred color and paste it in /system/media.
3. Rename to bootanimation.zip.
4. Make sure to change permissions to rx- r- r (0644).
5. ???
6. Reboot and profit.
Can't decide? Try Rainbow Special Edition (click on image to see .gif):

It's because selinux mode was setted to enforce, than you can't change some system files. To change your boot animation, use TWRP File Manager. Remember to mount System in TWRP --> Mount

[BootAnimation] Colorful Samsung Logo

I wanted to change the boot animation because simple Samsung logo looked too still and bland.
Most of the ones I found online that are compatible with samsung's weird startup animation format (.qmg) are old and the resolution doesn't always fit.
So I made one, in Samsung Theme Designer. It is centered, and runs at a nice fps ratio. Tested on S20 only, but should work on the others.
It consists of the appearing then disappearing of the samsung logo. The letters write themselves in blue-ish and get erased in yellow-ish.
Please note that :
- This only works with Samsung ROMS. The file format is .qmg (samsung-specific!)
- The file I give you only concerns the second boot animation. That means that your phone will still show a still "samsung" before switching to this custom bootanimation
- I stole the independent image files from Bootiful, and I don't know where they stole it
- I know the "samsung" from my animation is not at the same place than the one from the first bootanimation but it was already a pain to resize so I don't think I will fix that
Installation steps :
1 - Download and unzip the file
2 - Make a copy of your old boot animation before so that you can go back if you're unhappy (/system/media/bootsamsungloop.qmg)
3 - Replace the file with the same name (bootsamsungloop.qmg) at /system/media .
4 - Done. Next time you boot it will appear
