That I know, Omnirom 5 is not official yet on any device, shouldn't be too far away though ...

OK. I don't see any bugs listed. Just a few I've had on my omni builds so far with gapps.
-Google now launcher won't work at all.
-inbox by gmail force closes
-goolge drive force closes
Are the same bugs present on this rom?

I don't have any of those bugs, it's been my daily driver for 2 months, I use Google Now Launcher, Inbox for about a month, and no issue with Google drive either.
The only real issue I had so far, is a known Lollipop issue on Mako, camera is a bit slow to start, around 2 seconds.

Hammerhead has received lots of complaints on Lollipop, I don't have it, so I can't really tell on Omnirom. Nexus 4 do behave really well under Omnirom, better than on Kitkat in my opinion.

Any features other than its pure AOSP? Haven't checked on this build, but on other unofficial builds it was just stock AOSP..

OmniSwitch has been ported, Ambiant Display, wake up buttons are also back.

I just updated the thread with a first 5.1 build.
It's a very early build, I've been running it for 24 hours, so far no issue, but it needs more testing, it comes as is.
You can now use Paranoid Android gapps for 5.1 beta 2:

5.1 not yet supported by the Dev, he said he'll need time. [emoji20]
I might try this ROM tomorrow though [emoji106]

Looks good...
sent from Le Nexus 4

in the screenshot of the first page the link is version 5.0.2, but the title is 5.1, is that correct?

Yes, my bad, I forgot to update the screenshot, lacked the time to do so, will do today.
Still using 5.0.2 blobs on 5.1, since Google didn't update those yet, you might encounter some drm issues.
I actually never used Xposed, but 5.1 is less than 3 days old, give some time to devs to fix things
5.1 merge is actually going rather well, I didn't encounter any issue yet, but feel free to report if you encounter any, but as always, logcat please

report
quick report on the 5.1 build
-works great
-really smooth and fast
-location works , both modes
-google backup is kinda broken. It restores apps, but no user settings etc. Its probably a Gapps error anyway (PA BETA2 5.1). No account in backup settings, debug only
-some fcs when digging deep into settings (appops, smartlock)
-tweaks: button wake, long press tiles, adv reboot, ambient dispaly, omniswitch and prob. more
-root works with supersu 2.46

For the fcs in settings, I'll look at it, didn't have the time to check smartlock yet, appops, I'll be honest, never tried, but gonna check those two.
Teams needs a bit of time to polish, as 5.1 only has been out for a few days
Thanks for the feedback.

Ok, I tested those fcs you mentionned, but I couldn't reproduce those. Then I am running a newer build than the one that was in the main thread, so I just uploaded it (14032015). If you keep having those fcs with this build, did you wipe data before flashing it ?
Not much changes in that build, mostly bugfix related to mismerges from 5.0 to 5.1.

Unofficial is rooted, with cherry picks multi-window, lock screen notifications, dalvik tweaks, etc and bulletproof kernel to add sweep and tap wake functions
Official builds are stable and pure omni with no cherry picks or additional tweaks.
I am debating shutting down the other threads now that this is up.

I have been waiting to try Omni for a while but the official rather than the un-official.
So glad I found this thread. Its one of the best Roms I have run on my N7. Only beaten by Clean rom but as the dev has moved on and not developing for the N7 now, this Omni is my daily. Thanks a lot dev :highfive::highfive::highfive:

What is XOSP and how was it born?
XOSP stands for the Xperia Open Source Project. The project was initially created by me @nilac) for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) years ago. Back then the ROM was called S+ Reborn. The vision was to create a minimal bloat free ROM which included Sony Xperia specific apps and various tweaks users would expect from a custom ROM.
S+ Reborn became a success and was eventually ported to different devices so from there I rebranded and XOSP project was founded. I worked on the project for 2 years always trying to improve it. Eventually, Because of the fact Lollipop was buggy on my Galaxy S+ (Which I maintained xosp for at the time) I decided to take a break from development until I got my hands on the Oneplus 2 in 2016 and from then I started again the development of XOSP and continued it ever since.
What Represents a Release and what represents a Revision?
Revisions include small changes such as bug fixes/improvments etc.. (Usually there are made like 3 revisions per-release).
Releases are the main "stable" builds with all new planned features implemented and bugs fixed.
You can find all the included features right:
Here
You can find the list of current issues in the ROM right:

cannot turn off the button backlight. Settings app crashes as soon as i try to
Edit :
Tried to disable it from sys/class/leds/button backlight/brightness by putting it to 00 but phone reboots and the backlight starts again. These lights are really irritating..
Edit 2:
Got it working by changing values in both files of brightness in above path. But it changes again after every restart.

Agreed. So far this seems to be running smoother than anything I've had on this tablet in the past. Thanks OP and team for putting this together.
Thanks LaCruz & team, gonna try and report
Thank you very much!
Working smooth, some apps needs to be updated to N version or they keep FC, settings FC at startup (only once)
More than extraordinary
So far no issues, updated all apps and working well. Probably smoothest this old tablet has ever run. Thanks for all the great work and support for are tablet.
Very smooth ROM! No major problems so far, I will keep testing, so far all my apps are working great. Thanks for keeping the Tab Pro alive!
Works fine. Just like any other CM/Lineage14 the charging sound doesn't work although it's enabled. I think the Settings app crashes at every reboot. Just like CM13 for n2awifi, you have to touch the volume bar to "activate" it. And the hardware buttons can't be disabled. That's it for now, great job...
I cannot seem to save Broswer bookmarks or see browsing history. Is this a setting I've missed?
Thanks for the Nougat!
I will try to make a dirty flash to my cm13 Rom and see what happens!
I can confirm wifi ,gps, bluetooth (with sent files) camera, video on youtube (1080p) working correctly...sometimes some "fake" notice ...but for Alpha version rom working very well ( i have full Logcat by adb but exceeds the limit of xda - my logcat 758kb) sry for english & thanks

Installation
(NOTE: if you experience robotic voice during calls: see the FAQ for a fix)
Upgrading from CyanogenMod/unofficial LineageOS without wiping
Unfortunately, now you have to wipe to come from CM - see "First time LineageOS14.1 installation on your Galaxy S III", or if you're brave try the instructions on changing keys.
First time LineageOS 14.1 installation on your Galaxy S III:
Read the official Wiki page
Flash a custom recovery via Heimdall or Odin
Push GApps (arm) and the Lineage 14.1 zip to your device
Boot into Recovery
Perform factory reset
Flash the Lineage 14.1 zip from SD card
Flash GApps from SD card
Reboot
Upgrading from earlier version of LineageOS:
Update your recovery - Lineage Recovery will be done automatically, TWRP can be downloaded from here (NOTE: you need 3.0.2-2 or higher to automatically install updates in Lineage 14.1)
Push the new Lineage 14.1 zip to your SD card
Boot into Recovery
Flash the Lineage 14.1 zip from SD card
Flash the most recent GApps for 7.1 if you are upgrading from earlier android version
Reboot

Reporting bugs
Bug reports belong on JIRA. See our wiki for more information on using JIRA.
I do not check this thread regularly for bug reports. Using JIRA makes tracking down & debugging bugs a lot easier. Feel free to use this thread to discuss bugs, though
DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel
DO NOT report bugs if you've modified system files
DO NOT report bugs if you've installed xposed and/or other mods
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
See how to submit a bug report for the appropriate place to report your bug (NOTE: the majority of bugs need to go in the BUGBASH tracker, which is only open on weekends).
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues or bugs already reported on JIRA. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Root?
Flashable zips to install/uninstall root can be found here. Download the "arm" variants.
Robotic voice during calls?
Try using the I9300XXUGMK6 modem. Instructions are here.
GPS Issues?
Probably a hardware issue. Try tightening the screws on the back of the device, or see this video for more information (thanks to @baltics for the link)

Finally official build here.. Good job!
Do i have to flash both zips (experimental and nightlies) or i have to choose one of them? I'm in Archidroid. Sorry but i read the wiki and i'm still stuck.

Only flash experimental if coming from unofficial Lineage or CM14.
Otherwise clean install the nightly.
The ROM does not include Root.
Lineage will release it's own Root in a few days.
Chainfire's very latest revision to his 2.79 Super Su may work. I have not tried it yet on the Official Lineage ROM.

Those who want to use online secure payment Apps need unroofed devices. Whether this is the reason is just speculation.

Wow,it was exactly 1 moth since last official CM build.
Long live LineageOS!!!
Just to confirm..
Built-in file manager works fine and I can easily accesses external sdcard, and another thing is that last SuperSU beta (SuperSu v2.79 SR3) works for root

Introduction
Hello Friends!
I had troubles to find current builds for my devices so I decided to make regular builds for my devices. When my friends told me about similar problems, I extended the builds to include their devices as well. So these builds were and are mainly for my friends and me, but I finally decided to provide them also for public download.
My ROMs
My unofficial Resurrection Remix (LuisROM) an awesome combination of performance, customization, power and the most new features, brought directly to your device. The LuisROM build server generates automaticly every 2nd days new builds directly from the sources.
Notice
Sometimes I get a lot of help or feature requests from users of my LuisROMs. My dog Luis and I try to fulfill most of the wishes, but that is not always possible. I do that as a little hobby and Luis does not always want to build ROMs . Please understand if I can not always answer directly.
ROM features:
Based off latest Resurrection Remix V7.x (pie), lineageos and aosp sources
Latest security patches
OTA Updater (LineageOS Updater)
Compatible with EX Kernel Manager
Oneplus Camera & Gallery
Many other misc. performance and stability improvements under the hood
Kernel: Linux 4.4 Kernel with many mods other devs and me (thanks for your incredible work!)
Removed lots of excessive bloat (improves security and performance)
Improved stability (several bugs not listed here have been fixed)
Sound Control Driver

I'm thinking of switching to this from official because it's not frequently updated. Is SELinux enforcing? Also thanks for your efforts, it's crazy that this is updated so often!

Thx, yes kernel is enforcing.

Runs encrypted by default?
Still playing around with the ROM, but does the ROM/kernel have a feature built in to detect how many charge cycles the battery has been through?
Edit: There's no separate ring and notification volume either? If you can, please implement the feature to separate them. It's a very important feature for me and probably for many others. I like having my ring volume while notification volumes significantly lower so I don't annoy people when I text.
Yeh welcome.:laugh::fingers-crossed:

Rom is very good so far! thanks for the share @8224Freak. I second the motion of adding AOD settings if you are so inclined .......and having a QS tile would be extra nice! Cheers
Just wanted to come back and say, I made the switch from official RR to this unofficial build because it's frequently updated and SELinux is enforcing. If you're deciding between official and this like I was, go with this. It's more secure, faster (it boots up in like 5 seconds) and is a really stable, rock solid experience. Huge thanks to the dev and their adorable doggo ?
Is there any way to get hide navigation tile
Sent from my OnePlus 5T using XDA Labs
This is built with test-keys right? One should be able to migrate from your prebuilt zip to one compiled from the same source on a different system without any issues?
EDIT: Yes.

Any chance of adding full oms support or whatever its called nowadays so that I do not have to reboot each time I want to install an overlay in substratum? Thanks.
There is no pie navigation bar in build...the same old oreo navigation... how can I get pie navigation?
Can we have microG support i.e signature spoofing?

I am already using YouTube Vanced with MicroG apk installed and I just cursed myself as to why I was using original YouTube app for past so many days. YouTube Vanced apk treats you like a premium customer!:silly:
