I want to cast screen of my Atrix 4g using google chromecast and this facility is available for Android 4.4.2 or latest ROM. I am currently using Z's ROM based on CM11 (Android 4.4.4), but it has no HDMI output. Screen cast option is available inside chromecast apps but unfortunately it's not able to cast screen and ended up with disconnection. I found many articles for mirroring devices by installing Mirror enabler for e.g.

but no luck.
I appreciate if any one tell me the ROM for Atrix 4G which capable to cast the screen of atrix 4G.

Does anyone know if screen mirroring and and allshare streaming are different I just installed sky rom 4.3 and I cannot use my allshare cast streamer anymore it says there is a hardware issue.
I use Beanstalk 4.4.2. I have the Chromecast device connected to my TV, and with the Chromecast app in Android I can cast youtube and some other things. Is there a way to cast the entire screen (or whatever video I want, not just the 3 or 4 fixed websites, and including streaming video) to Chromecast? I read that someone added this capability to Cyanogenmod 10.2 and above. I'm not sure what's the status of this capability and whether it exists in Beanstalk 4.4.2.

Im using a tab pro 12.2 and running stock rooted deodexed, and Im wondering if I buy the chromecast dongle - will I be able to mirror my device straight to the screen (I want to mirror custom videos not through youtube etc) with mxplayer pro. My TV doesnt have any sort of wifi, but it does have a hdmi slot - hence going with chromecast.

Yes there are ways to do this
The TV doesn't need WiFi, just your home and device (tablet, phone, PC)
I can only cast screen natively from my nexus devices or PC but there are apps that allow for this

I am using S3 GT-I9300 Android version 4.4.4 ParanoidAndroid version 4.1 and would like to use screen cast with Chromecast.
Whilst I am able to cast to screen from apps such as Youtube etc I am not able to mirror my S3 screen. When I connect to Chromecast I receive the pop up "device not optimised for this device". Android connects to Chromecast for a few seconds before disconnecting. Am using Chromecast 1.10.2 app. Is there anything I can do allow cast screen to function correctly? Thanks a million.

Have you tried using google before posting?

that was only necessary when screen casting was limited to 3 devices, it's now open to everyone with the latest chromecast app but that doesn't mean it works
I am using the Blekota Note 4 Lite and with me works just fine. I can cast in the TV my phone screen

Thanks. Tried Mirror Enabler route but no luck.Have since gone with Lollipop ROM and casting now works fine
hey guys I have tried numerous 5.1 roms, Not a single one can i get the chromecast to actually show up on. I know the chrome cast end is working because i can use it on my note 3. But I am trying to setup this note to be a dedicated kodi machine, but i cant get the chromecast to even be listed.
Would there be a 4.4.4 rom that could use the Cast app? (my nexus 7 LTE can cast on 4.4.4) I have flashed 6 roms in the past day, and not a single one can list the chromecast. If i have to install odin and go with a 5.1 rom I can install odin.(partitions are too small as its a 4.4.4 formatted device.
This is for my sister's house and its the only spare phone i have. Casting kodi from her PC reliably is all but impossible. I would need to use screen cast.
(CM roms have issues with Screen Cast?) This is Really all the Device needs to do.
