I made this post below, but didn't get a reply, so I'm not sure if I'm making it in the right area, or if it isn't being seen, or just no solutions. Anyway, here it is again!
Hello guys
I have an HP 10 tablet(similair to slate 7) running 4.4.2. It is rooted, but it hasn't updated due to the ota not recognizing the root scripts. I wanted to update to lollipop(Android 5), but couldn't find specific roms for may model. I saw some HP touch stuff though, but not sure if that would work. This tablet is a quad core 1.2ghz, ARM v7 processor rev 3 (v71). Since rooting, it no longer keeps its state, and if it goes dead, is turned off, or reboots, it defaults back to factory settings, and I have to start all over with installing my back up (via titanium). It is time to update and make it more stable. any help?

Trouble getting stock
Hi guys, before anything, im really sorry if i mispell something i'm from Brasil
So let's begin with my problem, im interested in getting my HP2801 back to original, including the removal of CMW, but i'm really a begginer and i cant get the image of its original recovery to work, so i would like to ask for help.
I've already tried flashfy, but it crashes everytime i've tried, tried using the own CWM, didnt work, even installed the linux mint, to reverse the instalation via linux, the last one didnt work because for some reason linux mint aint listening the hp 2801, but when is in recovery mode, he can se the tablet as a device.
Could anyone help me to
A- Make linux mint "see" the tablet in the adb devices
B- Help me get the tablet on it's original recovery
I really tried for over a week to do this by myself, i don't like to bug people, but i didnt saw another answer.
So please, please somebody help me.

My slate 7-2800 the formatted from a pc and is completely dead, no work, nor can enter recovery mode (black screen to access this)

I was able to finally root this thing! Found the tools necessary online from Viewsonic. I am on version 1.3.
I have rooted IMG file, may help save a bricked device. Instructions were fairly easy in Windows.

me172v stuck at ready for download logo?
I made a huge mistake messing with permissions on my memo pad. i tried to change the system permissions to be r/w.... then alerts about various processes stopping happened one after another and it rebooted to dead-android screeen, i rebooted by holding power down until a screen saying 'not connected to usb' appeared, i tried plugging into my laptop running windows 7, it installed drivers for an android adb interface -hardware properties lists tablet as WM8950 USB DEVICE - type- ASUS Android Device.
So please guide me in getting things back to functional if i havent completely bricked my tablet. THANK YOU in advance!

AMPC Mini-ROM
Just wanted to say; I purchased an Asus Me172v nice and cheaply from eBay, I have rooted it using the instructions on XDA and installed the mini ROM which has improved the old thing massively. Maybe we can get some new developement going on this old thing, it is an endearing little tablet and I like stuff like that.

Hi, i follow the procedure of the hp slate 7, to root my hp 7 plus and it works BUT with every reboot it looses all my settings and it always returns to factory reset! I would appriciate any help.

Boot Loops?
Hi,
After rooting my HP Slate 7 Plus, every time I reboot it, it comes up to the Welcome Screen, as if It is new, out of the box. Is this what you're referring to as a "Boot Loop"?

External_SD recognized but does not mount
I´ve found that the card is recognized by the tablet but for some reason is not getting mounted. you can check this by looking in /dev/block/plattform/rk29_sdmmc.0 when a card is fitted, two links will appear, when not, the directory is empty.
in /etc/vold.fstab it states that the external card should be mounted in /mnt/external_sd but it doesn´t. maybe someone knows a way how to fix this?
I rooted my tablet with kingroot but i don't trust on chinese applications.

Hi! I'm looking into rooting my phone with xposed, but I'm not sure about compatibility. It's a blu studio c 5.0 HD, running stock kitkat. The processor is a 1.3ghz cortex a 7, and the GPu is a mali-400mp2. It has 1 gb of ram and 4 gb rom. Does anyone know if it is compatible with xposed? I would hate to brick my phone! Thanks for your help!

hello, i have a problem when installing xposed. the first batch file run well but the second batch file it just stuck on the line "connecting" and didnt do anything, my phone didnt reboot or install neither. i have tried 2 times but it not work. my phone is asus tooi lollipop btw. thank for your hard work.
