THANK YOU Shawn, I know I've been nagging you for a very long time, thank you so much, I'm busy downloading at the moment
THANK YOU

I don't recall ever seeing a third party ROM that included any of gapps, have you checked Google's licensing to see whether or not including gapps is permissible?

When the first time setup ran on my P600 it complained that my tablet didn't have a SIM card installed, and the status bar and settings options have stuff for cellular data just like my phone has.

Hi Shawn,
Thanks a lot for this build for the p601 variant , finally p601 usesr can taste the Lollipop on their devices.
Being testing it for the past couple of hours, the only issue is the Bluetooth headset as the voice gets distorted when receiving a call & have to switch to the speaker to recognize the voice.
Tested on 2 different BT headset with the same issue.
This Only happens with Phone , other audio functionality through BT are OK.
Could you please have a look on this.
Otherwise everything else is perfect.

Thanks Shawn,:good::good::good:
This ROM is dam fast, and stable till now.
Only 2 issues I had,
I have to switch the call manually to BT headset.
I did not find power saving mode switch.
Keep it up.Thanks again.

Well its complicated but here is an easy explanation...
1) When the device is using 4 or more cores of the 8 cores charging speed is normal
2) When less than 3 or less cores are being used by the device....Charging speed is doubled
3) Throughout this process the device does not heat up (more than normal) and performance is not sacraficed
4) This is done through added libraries in /system/lib and an int.d script in /system/etc/int.d

That's weird... afaik our device never uses more than 4 cores at the same time (it switches between the quad a7 and quad a15 clusters dependant on the cpu load)
RaymanFX has started working on an updated kernel that enables HMP (all 8 cores active at the same time), but i don't think it's finished (& public) yet

1.1 update
When 1.1 versión will be available forma download?

MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.

hell yeah..finally thank you! i will try it as soon as possible(using cm 12.1 by nick) and did you overclocked the GPU to 700 GHz?
Can you also lower the brightness as much as possible for battery and night? cause it can only be done when ROM is made! Please
I've been waiting for this for so long! Hopefully the J500M variant will be up soon.
Thanks for the hard work!

Great work bro. Looking forward to this project!
FINALLY! I have the 8GB variant, and the latest update disabled my ability to rollback. (it's an irreversible firmware update) I'm just waiting until this thing is usable enough.
If you have an 8GB, it's literally impossible to install anything with all the bloat.

Thank you for this useful comment!
CM13 has the option to format externalSD as internal. Also, users that flash irreversible firmwares will be able to have an AOSP based ROM.
Instead of just waiting for CM13 to be stable, you can contribute to make this work faster. Search and find errors through logcat, discuss them here so we can take a look on them.
This applies to every user out there. That's why XDA is made for, after all!
Regards,
Nick Verse.

I have applied your kernel for my P601 on 5.1.1 ROM
Mixture:
Stock ROM LL 5.1.1 (Untouched - Sammobile)
Prime Kernel V 6 by Hitman1376
Wanam Xposed 87.1 sdk 22 custom build by wanam
Xposed Installer 3.1.1
SuperSU 2.79 SR3 System Mode
Busybox 2.5.1
Arise sound mods (Viper 4Android)
Dolby Atmos

Hopefully you will be able to create for LOS/AOSP based ROM, it will be wonderful combination.
It is hard to find custom kernel for P601.

Unstable
Very very very unstable...
Sometimes restarts itself...
Sometimes it will freeze...
Some times it will work without any problem.
I don't know what is wrong with it... But it is highly unstable.
Is there support for the P600 model?
Wow, great news, will try the ROM when I get some tree time and after we get some more releases.

I'd say to stay with CM13 based before migrating to LOS14, this release still in developing stage.
Currently, Im on rooted stock 5.1.1. No problem so far. Will migrate to 14 when it reach at least 2-3 more builds.

Nice Job.
So I tried this rom out last night. This is the first time I've used a rom outside of hyperdrive that everything seems to work that I have tried. I was a little hesitant to give this a shot since the op mentioned slow video, but when I downloaded youtube everything played back just fine. Only minor issues I have had thus far is that the default file manager does not load the SDCard properly. It points to /SDCard and from what I can tell should point to /SDCard1. I downloaded a third party file explorer and had no issues accessing the SDCard from there (even tried running the file manager as root). Only other minor issue is I am occasionally getting a pop up about MTP stopped running.

Battery will be better than Oreo. Normally I got 5+ hours of SOT on PR1 based on my usage. Surely you will get same SOT with this ROM as well
Hello, please, help me, I used twrp 3.1.0-0 and then I updated my twrp to 3.2.3-0 to install your rom, updated by twrp, restarting it on the screen written recovery, it is locked, I do not have root, no I have Pc, my stock rom restarts normal, but I can not get more recovery, any solution? Anyway, I appreciate any help.

Installation instructions:
1. Make sure you have TWRP installed on your device to be able to flash the rom.
2. Download the latest build from the link above and copy it to a place where you can find it later.
3. Optionally download GApps for using the Play Store and other Google related services from here: https://opengapps.org. Choose ARM as architecture and 8.1 as the OS version. The size of the GApps package is upon to you how much apps you want to have preinstalled. Copy this zip aswell to a place where you can find it easy later. If you download it with Chrome or with the Google Drive App it should be by default in the Download folder.
4. Turn your phone off and press Volume UP + Home Button + Power button at the same time until the splash screen appears. Then your device should boot into the recovery. There you wipe following partitions: Data, System, Cache, Dalvik if this is your first install. All of your installed applications get lost by this. Your photos, videos etc. won't get deleted if you haven't ticked the box for internal storage. As the kernel also supports F2FS i would change the filesystem for the cache partition from ext4 to f2fs for a better system performance. Now go to the main TWRP menu, click on install and go to the place where you have placed your zips and first select the rom and then click on the left button if you have downloaded the optional GApps package to add another zip to the queue. Now swipe the slider at the bottom to install and reboot the phone to the system. The first boot can take a while and after booting you could experience some lags because of the GApps initialization but they should disappear after some time.
5. Now you have successfully installed the rom and you're ready to use ResurrectionRemix on your device. Congratulations!
Bugs:
- VoLTE (isn't working on samsung devices and won't work anytime in the future too)
- Same as LineageOS 15.1

Also thank you all of you guys for still developing for A310F users. I wish i can donate for you guys but PayPal is not avalaible in our country.

As I see this rom audio recording is working fine right? I had another issue with L15.1 which was that I couldn't get faceunlock to work at all, it didn't even show up in the setings. It wasn't the gapps cause I use those same gapps on extendedAOSP and it worked. Also at some point the mic stopped working, etheir for calls nor audio recording. I'm on 14.1 now but it doesn't play flac natively and the music player I use doesn't support flac by itself, all the rest is great en 14.1. So, if anyone is kind enough to advice me about this ROM that'd be great, I'm getting a little tired of flashing, mostly because I need the phone for work during the day and the microphone dying is not cool XD Thanks in advance.

RR should be as stable as my Lineage OS builds as it is based on my trees. Only current issue is buggy MTP but this will be mostly solved in our kernel tree soon.
RR-Pie-v.7.0.1 is coming soon
Hi,
(This is my first post on xda, so I'm not sure I'm doing it right. Tell me if I should do it differently so I learn)
I like this rom, and have used it in various versions of several devices, so I'm happy to see it is developed for this device too.
However, when i try to flash it to my SM-A310F, I get the error that this rom is for a3xelte, while my device is (blank space) .
I use TWRP v. 3.0.2.1 and have flashed the revolution OS rom with success. This rom works ok, but I just miss some the customizations and functionalities in RR.
-And also the lack of samsung software, which I use none of and just disable.
I general, I can install roms which are based on the stock samsung rom in some way or another (like the revolution OS), but not roms like RR, dotOS or lineages.
From Software settings (running revolution OS):
Baseband: A310FXXU2BPG6
Kernel version: 3.10.105-NOUGAT-ALX-0.0.2
So, do any of you clever people have a good idea why my SM-A310F is not considered worthy for RR? Is there a way to flash it anyway, or is this a hardware issue of some sort?
And thanks!

You need to update TWRP. Here you find the latest official build: https://eu.dl.twrp.me/a3xelte
And also you could do a baseband update. Flash the newest firmware for your country via ODIN and install TWRP and RR after that again.
I recommend you to use RR 7 (Android 9) instead of this. I haven't published a build since a long while.
Thanks so much for the very quick response! I will give both a try starting with updating twrp. I'm not sure where to look for the baseband update, but I will try to find it if twrp update does not work.

You can use the tool samfirm (google it) or updato.com
Baseband updates can improve signal strength/battery life. But it is not necessary.
Thanks again, I really appreciate your help.
I'd love to try RR7, but I can't find the download link in the relevant thread (it says removed by OP) or in the RR homepage. Therefore I chose this version instead. Is RR7 available somewhere else.
