Hello everyone,
If anyone wants to activate whatsapp calling feature than follow these steps.
Read carefully and WhatsApp me after following all steps to save my and your time.
1) Download latest version of whatsapp from this link

2) Now uninstall old version and install downloaded version.
3) Now send me text in whatsapp on +91 ********** (number removed)
Please note that i live in india so please text me considering indian time(GMT +5:30) so i can invite you quickly.
4) I will call you, receive the call to get calling feature.
Note: Root is not required because everything is official from WhatsApp.
Now WhatsApp officially released this feature for all users so i will remove my number after 2 days, as getting this feature is very easy.
That's it.

If you don't get calling feature than don't worry.
May be servers are closed by whatsapp.

Servers are down so i am not inviting anyone.

Google just released a Schemer App for Android. The service itself is invite-only and only officially launched in the US, but it's also allowed to use it from other countries.
Sadly, the Android App's download is restricted to the US, so it would be greatly appreciated if someone could upload the binary here.

You can use the pin BBM users to contact him, and make his own pin when registering.

Well this thing dose work! I don't know if it works for someone else, but does for me! Only thing is that they can't message me afterwards cause i need to invite them somehow! Fix this if you know about it DEV! Everyone would appreciate it

Like I said in the posting description: This only works and can only go to a P2P (Sort of Email in the BBM). maybe if you want to enter the chat table they then have to use the original BBM from BlackBerry.
I'm just trying to get contact BBM users of Android.
More likely you'll be able to add this application to improve to be like the blackberry messenger.
because I've run out of ideas ..

there is a menu to add contacts you just add a name and pin them

open the app, click on contacts on the top left, click on new, enter the desired name and a valid BBM pin of your friend! :good:

also there are few bugs:
-blinking screen
-i need to reopen chat to get my reply
-when i pressed back button to exit, it back to login page

There is no need to "shout"... the only app that do what you are asking for, and that is chat heads. the only alternative is to wait for disa developer (serach it on google+, is a closed community) to add that feature in his app.

Before doing that, the pre requisite is that u need to update the app to the latest version. Best thing would be to download the apk from whatsapp website or use the download link below. Thanks. I am looking for some help. I was using an app called fire alert 2 on my phone. It worked for awhile but it quit alerting me. I would like to figure out why but since it wont alert me so that I can get a log for it. I know nothing about developing but you guys are awesome on here. I wish I could just build an app like this. Thanks in advance for any help. Also there are a few members on my department that have downloaded the app to but it is doing the same on there phones and we all use different phones. I am using a galaxy note 3 rooted with dompop urv2.2.3 rom, but I have used different roms.

I'm the developer of the app FireAlert and just found your post here. I want to help you. In the general settings of the app you will find the option 'Logging'. Please enable this. Wait for another call. After you should have a log-file in the folder firealert2/logs on your device. Please sent me this via email or private message here on the board. Do not post it in public, because it may can contain private data. I just need it for the specific call, so if you give me date/time of it, the search will be easier for me. Thank you!

OK well, in the App by itself you may see nothing, but in the log-file I can see more (hopefully). So you have the logging enabled? Then send yourself a SMS or from a friend or so. Then you should get with some explorer app the log file in the folder firealert2/logs and sent me this on a private way. First we check if FireAlert is generaly able to receive a SMS on your phone.

Hi, I was recommended this app by my Mountain Rescue Team, but I can't seem to get it to work. It seems like the phone is killing the app when it's sleeping, thus defeating the object of the App. I have a Blackview BV6000.
