Fantastic news, will definitely be giving this a test drive. Many thanks.
Any special installation instructions, or just the usual routine?
Do we need to also install latest SU? Thanks again.

Its the usual one. You can download supersu from play store or from the net. Hope you like it
Cheers!!

is the kernel Zram enabled as what Lysergic did on his latest CM12 build
and w/ varrund on the Remix eom?

Looks interesting, i'll try it soon, screenshots please?

rom booted fast
i can record video with camera but stock videoplayer show me black screen instead of VLC that read it fine.

Does at least one video play? Or is this a problems for all videos? BTW will try to update in a few days.

Great Sai Nath.
If everything is functional you can apply for official and join our team.way to go bro.
Edit:kindly copy our thread layout from nexus 5 thread

As a heads up to others flashing for the first time. Bootanimation froze for me....Don't panic all is well and booted perfectly.
I have been running this Rom for over 12 hours now. Only (minor) problem is the settings have stopped pop up on boot. Other than that no problem at all, no random reboots, no freezes. It's very smooth and fast and I have experienced no lag. I guess it's time to make it official
Would like to see heads up notifications implemented (or have I missed them somewhere?)
Many thanks.
EDIT:
Annoying little bug that I am experiencing. Cannot follow a link and open another app while another is open.
Example: can't open play store by clicking on a link from G+ have to close G+ first. Can anyone else confirm this?

Really nice rom, many options and quite stable for me, only bootanimation is broken but rom does his work perfectly and without warm my phone
I forgot to mention: I am also experience settings fc always on reboot ( small bug, app works good after); RAM management is really good, i've 16 apps open and all is smooth

Well, I've tried every LP ROM (except SOKP) that is published here in xda-dev, and all of them had real lag problems, if not immediately then within a whole day after the flashing - to the state where the ROM is unusable for me (can't even answer incoming calls) without rebooting. Of course I am not blaming anyone, all the devs here did a wonderful job getting LP to our old phone model, but I do not want to experiment any more with such ROMs. Is this one different in this sense? Is it CM-based?

Well, this is cm based, i suppose this from theme manager and superuser, of course i run it from almost one day and no problems...phone charges normally, apps install fine, first rom that not warm my leg when i have phone inside the pocket ... Really impressive...i don't judge the battery now but i still testing with 3g..i'll stick on this rom for a while :good:

can anyone provide an SS with this rom? thank you m

Aroma Gapps work, FM works too, all in all it works just great!
Just don't forget to install Superuser and change "Root access" in the developer options else you won't be able to give apps root access

yes, install is always same, wipe data&cache and install zip. every rom zip formats system, so you dont need wipe system too. i also not recommend wipe system.

Some more things that people might wonder/or not..
- GPS does not work (any workarounds?)
- Photosphere: the one posted on the slimroms homepage doesn't work, however this one on xda works http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2116851
- WIFI seems to be dropping quite often in quite irregular intervals. Haven't had that with other custom roms yet.
Tried it and went back to "CARBON-JB-UNOFFICIAL-20131009-1902-serranoltexx.zip" in less than an hour. I simply did not find a reason to chose slim over carbon. Carbon rom is just so perfect :good::good: Setting layout in carbon is hands down 10x more intuitive. Moreover I noticed that battery drained much faster in heavy use with slim rom in comparison to carbon.

Sure man . I meant no harm. I even donated additional amount to arco68 to show my gratitude for supporting S4 mini LTE. I was not even addressing issues that do not work. Carbon just feels more intuitive and easy to me, and this introduces no over the top features that I need, but its just me .

By using the rom you agree with the above terms!
About the Rom:
You may be asking yourself, "What the hell is IOAP". Well, its simple really so I will keep it short and sweet. IOAP is built from source. Almost similar to AOSP. Lots of features.
Features:
Android 4.4 Kitkat
Halo
OmniGear
DarkUI
Listview Animations
Active Display
Lockscreen Notifications
System Animation customization
and more!

Installation Instructions:
This has been tested using CWM, it should also work with Philz or TWRP. If you try it on those please let me know how it goes!
Factory reset/wipe data 3 times. (this helps with random reboots if you have them like I do)
Wipe system 3 times. (this helps with random reboots if you have them like I do)
Install ROM,
Install Gapps.
Reboot device.
I suggest letting the device sit for 5 or 10 minutes at the welcome screen before diving right in, up to you.
Known Bugs:
If the setup wizard crashes and prevents any further action, reboot and as soon as it comes up again tap the 4 corners of the screen, upper left, upper right, lower right, lower left BEFORE the crash. It won't work after. Alternately remove the setup apk from your GApps, or, if using TWRP, remove it in Advanced>file manager, or via ADB. You can also flash the ROM, boot it, then reboot recovery and flash gapps.
MMS may not send, oddly removing Google Play Movies may correct this, bizarre, I know.
SMS not sending may occur if there is data being restored for them, attempt without restoring apps/data and see if SMS works again.
SlimPIE: It can be enabled and used, however settings for it crash, at this point it's only usable as it is by default, left side of the screen.

Notes:
I'm a very easy going guy, I don't care if there is off topic in my threads. Those who mess around with me can attest to this. I would prefer to try to keep this more on track and keep the randomness in the Carbon thread, as usual . All I ask is it's kept civil, flaming or arguing can be taken to PM. If you want to report a bug, please at least try to do a little trouble shooting, or at least list very detailed steps to recreate the bug for squashing.
I don't plan to do nightly builds, I'm leaning more to a weekly build kind of setup at this time.
Enjoy!

I actually downloaded this a couple of days ago from your website... I didn't know what it was so I just let it sit until you put a thread up about it. Cool stuff!
Running nice! I avoided the setup wizard by just booting without flashing gapps then rebooted into recovery and flashed gapps. No issues, the ROM is really nice and smooth.
Installed and running it. Ran into setup crashing, but easily bypassed via corner method. Seems to be running ok.
Will return with more if something comes up!
Updated build available!
Updated sources
-o3 built
SlimPIE added
Notes:
If you start getting hot reboots, please try a clean flash. There's been some framework changes that may not get along with a dirty flash/upgrade. Your choice which to try first.
SlimPIE can be turned on and used, but it's settings will FC settings, so it can only be used how it is setup by default at this time.
Setup wizard FC still remains, I attempted to correct it locally and it got...let's just say some unfriendly words were thrown around at my screen. Use whatever method you prefer to get around it for this build also, the 4 corners or flashing the gapps after flashing the ROM and booting are the two easiest methods.
And another update, build version 3.59, tons of fun stuff from AOKP, PAC, Slim and more! available at pio-masaki.com as usual.
Thanks for the rom. I like it so far. What recents is this using? Is there a way to the regular AOSP recents?

MMS is broke on current version. Getting an error APN not specified when trying to send mms. Otherwise solid rom
That's without the play movies app. A temp work around is using gosms instead of the stock or hangouts. It has its own settings for MMS and sends and receives fine

For everyone: wait a little if you haven't already installed it... I'm reuploading the rom. Stupid build system haven't changed build.prop.
This means, that root will turn off after each reboot and there will be no sound for ringtone by default.
If you already installed it, just change in build.prop the line about root to from 0 to 3. And set ringtone manually.
EDIT: done.
Hey man. That was fast
Thanks for your work again. I'll try it asap.

Bootloop means stuck at bootanimation? If so, it's not bootloop. It just booting very long time. But if it's stuck an samsung logo...
If you flash from stock, sure, you neen to flash kernel first.
Just tested: stock kernel is fully working (I haven't tested reuploaded build before, just rebuilt and uploaded)
Yes very long ~20 minutes bootlogo but when I flashed the other kernel AFTER flashing the rom it booted within 5 min.
You rom also includes a kernel ? Because I saw it has a different recovery than the other one, but I'm not sure why didn't boot for me.

Second boot was faster because part of apps were already optimized during first not finished boot. First boot takes around 30-40 minutes, maybe 1h (depends on installed/not installed gapps).
Yep, this kernel is almost completely the same with latest Chrono kernel. The difference only in built-in governors (you can always add needed in autoload), built-in ramdisk and twrp recovery (new versions of CWM display black screen, graphics.c needs to be adapted to our device).
also in CM 12.1 for s3 mini we have green line with stock camera.
try to do similar changes about STE colorformat.
or talk to omap guys cuz they was have this issue but they fixed with stride.

Green line? We have completely green video.
About OMAP: Do you mean this: https://github.com/Ziyann/android_h...274#diff-ff5aae22cb955fdff3127fade84bb9cfR564 ? If so, I'll check it.

Hi All,
I've been working on a AOSP-CAF version for Otus. This is started from kernel and device tree by CyanogenMod so thanks a lot to them for the bringup. I've just modified it to work with AOSP. This is pure AOSP and no more features will be added, so kindly Don't request it.

Changelog-
Source updates
Auto-rotation should be fixed
To avoid the confusion i am writing the instructions again in simple language -
1.Reboot to recovery
2.Do all the wipes and reboot recovery again (from recovery itself, you'll get a popup saying "No OS installed" , just swipe
3.You are in recovery again, Install > select rom > Add more zips > add gapps (optional) and swipe and reboot system when done
4.Initial boot behaviour is weird, it'll show motoboot logo for an abnormal time just wait and it'll boot. You are good to go.
Thanks
I had problems with opengapps, that is correct?
When installing opengapps, play store does not appear
updated every week?

Nevermind! I have a different device (surnia) and was dumb.
Hi there, I'm trying to get this ROM installed on my phone. I'm pretty excited about having an AOSP build.
I'm getting this error when I try to flash the zip in TWRP 3.0.0-r2
...
patching system image unconditionally...
Verifying the updated system image...
system partition has unexpected contents after OTA update
Updater process ended with ERROR: 7
Error installing zip file '/sdcard/aosp-mm6.0.1-20160219-otus.zip'
I have checked the the MD5sum on the phone and it matches the website (ac1b12538276046f81b6f5d76de5c298).
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

New update? WOW... amazing bro... thanks!!
Very good
Amazing rom, performance it's very nice, sound quality it's better than cm13 (my opinion) the only negative on this rom is the portuguese brazil translation is not "complete" like the headphone connected thing, and some random reboots (with is easily fixed when I clear the cache).
Keep up with the good work :good:

DEVICE DISCLAIMER:
I DON'T OWN THE DEVICE. TESTING ON THE SPECIFIC DEVICE WILL BE LIMITED TO TESTERS
Krexus was born out of a simple necessity. The latest releases of stock Android (namely lollipop and marshmallow) were pretty close to my idea of a perfect android ROM, yet missing some elements, which are meant to be included in stock Android, at least for me. Starting from a clean AOSP environment, only specific features and fixes are included, which are personally tested ON HAMMERHEAD, with one goal in mind. To create a stock like android ROM, "as it should be".
This means, and I mean it, a ROM like how stock nexus image should be, for me.
This isn't going to get bloated. Most UI "features" are already there.
This isn't going to start picking commits relentlessly, I will test them personally and only add things that 1) work like they should 2) would fit in a stock ROM.
This isn't going to be updated very quickly. Only security and bug fixes will be pushed out ASAP.
This is going to follow Google's & AOSP guidelines as closely as I can.
And lastly, this is first and foremost a ROM about Nexus 5 (hammerhead). This is my personal device, this is where I test the ROM. angler, bullhead, flo, mako, SHAMU builds are provided AS-IS. With that in mind, I have to say that the google+ community has been flashing shamu builds for a looong time and hasn't come up with anything, so I thought I'd share it here, too.
That said, welcome aboard!

i've tried dirty ,after that it was not possible to pull down the QS panel, and also i've lost the developer options.....it poped up ...."it's not available for this device"
weird but after full wipe ,all works as expected
thanks a lot

@KreAch3R I'm glad you left the double tap to wake feature in. To be honest, I like this feature when it is automatically included in the ROM rather than have to try and either find a custom kernel or use kernel auditor.
The double tap to wake is working very well with this build. Last build did not work as well

That was the reason I wanted to leave it in, too. Krexus tries to never deviate from stock, only fix/include necessary stuff. I'm glad it works well now, it seems that I was missing some commits on the device tree, but I found them after @BeansTown106 let me know about them.
This is one of the best stock rooted ROMs out and runs great. Thank you for bringing it to us here on XDA.

Hi George-
I saw your changelog update and I didn't understand, can you explain how to use tasker for turning on the LED or modifying the color ?
Krexus/Despair is a lovely combo - giving it a spin now!
