[Q] Multiple rom selection - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Good Afternoon,
Just a general question. I'm running cynogenmod 12 right now. I had a good copy of slim rom
Going too. Is there an app or zip file I could install to pick which to load when my tablet boots up?

Yes, it's called multi rom but it isn't available for our galaxy tab gt-p7510/7500
Hold on... What tablet do you have? There is to my knowledge, no cm 12 for this tablet.

I'm using a Samsung Tablet 10.1 WiFi only edition. P5110 I believe. If that's what you are using too, I can copy the link to you. I will look for the multi rom too right now.
Thanks for the help

An old Galaxy Tab 10.1 in need of wiping

Hello all,
I have an old Galaxy Tab 10.1 32GB WiFi only that I seem to have bricked a long time ago. I am able to access fastboot and recovery but the tablet does not boot into Android. It stays at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 logo without going anywhere. So what I'm planning to do is to to re-flash everything including bootloader and firmware using Odin3. The problem is that I can't find those files anywhere and need some help with finding them.
Thanks.
Bump. Tablet does the same.is this what i should do? Angy links to files or procedure?

[Q] acer iconia a200 stock rom

hello i did a really silly thing and forgot to backup my tab before flashing a custom rom on it and i was wondering if you could give me a twrp backup of the stock rom thanks
Download https://www.google.ca/url?sa=t&sour..._l3DCY6K9wn7QxK_g&sig2=yEH27ZFbmp8Q68071tt5-g and search for a compatible ROM. Search by going into ROM Download and click one, select a version that is compatible and download it. It should tell you if it is compatible. Your welcome sunny boy and that was a silly thing to do. Lol hi dude

So how did you create this, Samsung hasn't released it, who onows they may never. Is it a Note 3 ROM like your 4.2.2 one modified to work on our Canadian Note 8?
What about root? What about 4.2.2 bootloader? Does it have the external SD locked for writing from apps like the real Kitkat?
Give us some info? If this is real, its amazing and we all owe you?

I didn't think the 5120 rom would work in our tablet. The 4.2.2 didn't, you had to create a special ROM.

I think AT&T is the i467. The Canadian carriers were the i467M. I don't know the difference but I wouldn't download this yet. Don't want to brick until I understand what this is.
I know that there is no release from Samsung for our ROMS, also that the 4.2.2 ROM from the 5120's LTE Note didn't work on ours, so be VERY careful. I'm waiting for some info from the developer as to what this is.
This same developer did a version of 4.2.2 for our i467M's. I'm using it, and it's great. The thread is here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2446155
But I think that was ported from a Tab 3 as he called the thread 4.2.2 N5210 for i467M. The N5210 is not a Note. it is a Tab 3 10.1 inch tablet.

I tried the other ROM the developer did for the Canadian variants on my AT&T and couldn't get around the AT&T locked bootloader.
Just noticed in the OP that wifi is not working. So really not ready yet. Any update Yorgo, perhaps more info in the OP would be good.
Thanks
@Yorgo1982 Glad you're breathing a little life back into this tablet. Samsung seems they have deserted us again. Any hope on getting wifi up and running?
I will do my best as im not a user of this tablet anymore.

Is the kernel 5120 as well? If it is then maybe be able to attain wifi using the spherecat kernel. If it isn't than perhaps looking at the present i467m kernel may lead to some headway.
I will do my best to try later on my mum's tablet

Nice work. I'm ready to install it. Is there anything NOT working?
Do I have to root it after I install, and do I have to put on a custom recovery again, or will that remain?

Is it necessary to wipe data before doing an Odin install, or does Odin overwrite everything?
Also saferoot or chainfire? Don't want to mess this up.
