[Archived][Tutorial] [Root] [Upgrade] [4.4-->5.0] ZTE Nubia Z7 Max to Lollipop 5.0 - ZTE Z7, Z7 Max, Z7 Mini

Update:This tutorial might no longer be valid. It was meant for stock to lollipop beta. Now there is a stable update. Please check needrom website for latest updates.
Disclaimer: This is a lengthy process with downloads of up to 2GB or more required. This is based on my understanding of machine translated Chinese web pages and forums. This process was done on my own ZTE Nubia Z7 Max and it now successfully runs the Google Play Store on Lollipop. The Lollipop version is only 5.0. Please take caution in reading instructions, I take no responsibility if you end up with a bricked phone due to various reasons (improper downloads, power failure or thermo-nuclear war)
Note: You cannot easily go back to Kitkat after this process, please be sure that you want Lollipop. I have not faced any issues with the Lollipop Update, but just letting you know.
Background:
I have a Z7 Max with Nubia OS v1.59 (Kitkat 4.4.2) and I found out from another forum that a Lollipop version v2.13 (Official) is available. This is the process I followed:
Pre-requisites:
A ZTE Nubia Z7 Max (model: NX505J, Hardware Version: NX505JMB_A)
Windows PC (I did this on Windows 7 64-bit)
Drivers installed (When the phone is connected, it will appear under device manager as "Android Sooner Single ADB Interface")
Step 1: Upgrade to v 1.64
The update to V 2.13 can only happen from v 1.64. So first you have to get to v 1.64, if you are not already on it.
Download the v1.64 update zip (requires sign up at Need ROM)
Using the stock recovery update the phone through normal process
Copy update zip to SD Card
Apply update from SD Card etc. etc.
There will be no reset of data and apps, however you will lose Google Play Store/ Services connectivity and Root. It hardly matters as the phone will be reset in the next few steps.
Your phone must be on v1.64 now.
Step 2:Enable ADB and Factory ports
Open your dialer and input *#7678#
You will see two check boxes Factory[] and Adb[]
Check both
Step 3: Download the update file and update tool
Extremely Important: The update from Kitkat to Lollipop will reset the device as the partition is re-written. This is why the tool is required. (No the update cannot be flashed using a custom recovery)

Note:
The above file might require you to sign up to Baidu and install their application to download large files. While registering for Baidu, you might be faced with a Chinese CAPTCHA. Use LINE Dict to draw the characters you see and solve the CAPTCHA
This will be a .tar file (use a utility like 7zip to extract the entire contents into a single folder "NX505J_CNCommon_V2.13")
Step 4: Using the update tool to update v1.64 to v2.13
Run the "nubia NX505J Updater V1.5.7.exe" installer
It will install the updater tool on your PC under "nubia NX505J Updater"
Run the updater tool from your All Programs menu
If you have all the drivers installed and ports enabled, the phone icon in the bottom will have a white tick mark in green bubble, else it will show an exclamatory mark (!) in red bubble. If red, please check drivers (use the driver installer that comes with phone, appears as CD Drive) and that ports are enabled

Click the top button after "C:\Nubia Backup" and browse to the NX505J_CNCommon_V2.13 folder
Only when you have a tick icon and the folder selected, press the bottom button (to the right of "0/100")
This click will reset the device so please proceed with caution
The process will start and the phone will restart several times.
After this process you should have a working Lollipop Installation. (about 3-4 minutes)
Note:The process will stop at 92% for some time, don't worry about this, don't touch the phone or computer!!
I have linked to the Chinese official instructions from the Nubia marketing team below
Step 5: Using Temporary Recovery to Flash Gapps
On the Computer
Download the Recovery exe from This link here (Filename: Z7max_2.13_Android _5.0_CWM recovery.exe)
Running this file will give you a terminal screen with 10 options.
Press Option "2" - I don't know what it does, but the phone will reboot - Probably the bootloader is unlocked.
Connect your phone and copy to the SD card the Gapps package: I used the pico pack from Paranoid Android thread here
After copying the file to SD card, press option "5" - This boots the phone into temporary recovery
In the recovery:
Second option is to flash zip from SD card
Select your file from the SD card
Select the second line on next screen (This is probably - No, - Yes, Flash Zip options)
Gapps gets installed
Go back to main screen of recovery and select first option, you will be presented with two options, Reboot and Reboot Recovery, choose second option to get to Lollipop with Google Play store installed.
Root
Follow the same process to get root by flashing the SuperSu zip through the temporary recovery

Things I have noticed over two days of usage :
Good:
Pretty good battery life
Smooth transitions
Bad :
The infrared control app is no longer available, nor do the apps from the play store work. Due to lack of permissions to the IR blaster.
Missing one - hand setting that allowed to use the large screen as small screen to left or right.
Home screen looks like from a small screen phone. Fonts in apps like Whatsapp etc. Look very large. Making the phone not feel like full HD resolution.

Good tutorial. But Nubia v2.13 still pretty much need a lot of improvements. I will wait for CM12 to be ported over properly than going for Nubia OS.

When flashing the 2.13 using the flashing tool, i get stuck at 15% where it says switching to download mode. My phone turns off and only the right backlit dot is lighted up. I looked over on the nubia forums and the said it could be because i hadnt turned off my antivirus software, so I went ahead and turned it off but it was the same. I even tried on another computer but same error.
Anyone know whats wrong?

Happened upon your post while I was looking to resolve my gapps issue from my upgrade to 1.64 and now 2.13. Had someone translate the chinese menu for me earlier today when I needed to use the stock recovery. Hope this helps everyone else.
Did not realize the bootloader needs to unlocked before can apply the gapps again. -_- Going to give it a shot now, thanks!

encountering data problem
I have data connection problem in ZTE Nubia Z7 max. I put 2 sim cards in 2 slots. When I change my default data connection to second sim slot, 1st sim carrier signal is lost. 1st signal is recovered when I changed the data connection to sim 1. Does anyone encounter this problem? In HTC Desire 826 dual sim phone, they are no encountering that problem. What is the cause of the problem? If anyone knows how to fix this, please help me.

No need to be on 1.64 stock

Actually I was able to do the upgrade from 1.64 bb72. I used the nubia tool which resizes the partitions and 2.13 stock. Then to 3.08 bb72.
It may even be possible to skip the step with 2.13 using the tool . If anyone has done it please advise

So I recently decided to take my 100% stock Nexus One to Sense UI and I've documented every single step of the way. I've written this guide for two reasons. First, this entire process is scattered around in dozens of threads, written by equally as many people. Not only that, but most people in these threads assume that you know by heart exactly what adb, fastboot, recovery, and others are all about. Second, to put it bluntly, most people are pretty terrible at writing documentation. Writing down what you did so other people can follow seems extremely difficult for many people. Luckily, this is a skill I am good at. So here is a full consolidation of all the information, re-writtern for clarity as I went along step-by-step, from my many hours of attempting to bring my Nexus One from 100% stock to Desire's Sense UI. (Edit: Some people have said they'd run through this guide in 20 minutes!! It might look like a lot, but a lot of steps take a few seconds.)
Disclaimer:
You agree that by doing this process, I'm not responsible for any bricked devices.
Unlocking the bootloader will void your warranty.
This process will erase all of your phone's data.
Please don't copy/paste this elsewhere (to prevent having outdated info); just link back.
If you need immediate help, these guys might be able to help -> http://webchat.freenode.net -> Channel "modaco".
And this guide is written as if you are using Windows XP.
*(Yes, the above image of Google's campus is totally unrelated, but totally cool!)

-------------------------
Backup [Optional]
On PC: www.gmail.com -> Contacts -> Export, choose Google CSV
On N1: Market -> AppMonster (or any other Backup application you prefer) -> Backup all apps
(If you want/need to backup sms etc, I don't know what non-root app does this)
Remove any authenticators etc
Downloads
Download nexus-addon-0.1-signed.zip, (From thread: CyanogenMod-5)
Download Desire Sense UI OR CyanogenMod:
Sense UI:
Download the latest version here: MoDaCo Custom ROM Desire Port (Choose with MoDaCo Additions, without A2SD)
Alternate download location (mirror) for r21: alpha-r21-update-modacocustomrom-nexusone-desire-withadditions-sig.zip
Cyanogen Mod:
CyanogenMod
Download the "Google Addon" as well
Don't download any "radio" updates unless you know what you're doing! (I would highly advise against it!)
Place both zip files (3 for Cyanogen) on N1's sdcard (don't unzip)
Setup SDK
Download android-sdk_r06-windows.zip
Unzip to C:\ drive so it looks like C:\android-sdk-windows\
Run SDK Setup.exe
Double click everything so it has a red X except for green check mark next to "USB Driver Package"
(Click for larger image)
Install
On N1: Settings -> Application -> Development -> enable USB debugging
Connect phone to PC, do not mount
New Hardware Found -> Point the install location to C:\android-sdk-windows\usb_driver\
(Click for larger image)
PC: Start -> Run -> cmd -> press Enter. A black window should appear.
Type: cd C:\android-sdk-windows\tools
Press Enter
Type: adb devices
Press Enter
(Click for larger image)
- It should say something similar to "HT123P123456 device" (this is your phone's serial number).
- If it says "cannot find" or "invalid path" etc, make sure you're typing *exactly* what the green text above says.
- If it says something else, try to reinstall the USB Driver package and restart your PC.
- If it still doesn't work, reply to this thread and say "adb devices does not work. When I type 'adb devices', it says _______________. My PC is running _______________." [Choose one: Windows XP | Windows Vista | Windows 7 | Mac | Linux]
If it works, your PC is correctly recognzing the phone. Continue on to the next step!
Unlock Bootloader
Turn phone off -> Hold Trackball, then hold Power until white bootloader screen shows up:
(Click for larger image)
FASTBOOT should be highlighted. Press the Power Button to go into Fastboot.
PC: Start -> Run -> cmd -> press Enter. A black window should appear.
Type: cd C:\android-sdk-windows\tools
Type: fastboot devices
- Note: Mac users need "fastboot-mac", available here: http://developer.htc.com/adp.html
(Click for larger image)
- It should say something similar to "HT123P123456 fastboot" (this is your phone's serial number). If it doesn't say this, something is wrong. Make sure you pressed the Power Button to go into FASTBOOT.
- If you are typing fastboot devices and it just returns a blank line or ???????? (ie Windows 7 64-bit users), try using USB drivers in the PdaNet install: http://www.junefabrics.com/android/download.php
- If that doesn't work, try not pressing the Power button to enter Fastboot. A few people have had it work that way. (Or may have been holding the Power button for too long.)
- If you can't get this step to work, reply to this thread and say "When my phone is in the bootloader and I type 'fastboot devices', it says __________ instead."
Type: fastboot oem unlock
Read what the screen says. (Decision time!) (All data will be wiped here)
(Click for larger image)
Your phone should reboot with a picture of an open padlock under the Google logo. If so, everything is good so far!
(Click for larger image)
Flash Recovery - (Update 09/01/2010: this may not work on SLCD Nexus Ones. Need an SLCD-supported recovery and then a ROM with SLCD support)
Turn phone off -> Hold Trackball, then hold Power until white bootloader screen shows up
FASTBOOT should be highlighted. Press the Power Button to go into Fastboot.
PC: Download latest .img file - Amon_RA's Recovery Image
Place img file into C:\android-sdk-windows\tools\
PC: Start -> Run -> cmd -> press Enter. A black window should appear.
Type: cd C:\android-sdk-windows\tools
Type: fastboot devices
It should say something similar to "HT123P123456 fastboot" (this is your phone's serial number). If it doesn't say this, something is wrong. Make sure you pressed the Power Button to go into FASTBOOT. If you can't get this step to work, reply to this thread and say "I'm trying to flash the recovery image. I unlocked my bootloader but fastboot devices doesn't work anymore. When I type 'fastboot devices', it says __________ instead."
Type: fastboot flash recovery recovery-RA-nexus-v1.7.0.img (Note: the underlined part may be different depending on what you downloaded.) (Tip: On Windows XP, you can press tab to auto-complete the filename.)
It should say: sending 'recovery' (3962 KB)... OKAY . . . . . writing 'recovery'... OKAY This should take a few seconds.
(Click for larger image)
If it doesn't work, try using Superboot (ignore this unless you're having issues flashing the Recovery):
Modaco's Superboot -> "Before download, check your device 'about' screen to determine whether you need a superboot for 'ERD79' (the original shipping ROM, 'ERE27' (the official update) or ERE36B (the new leaked update)."
Turn phone off -> Hold Trackball, then hold Power until white bootloader screen shows up
Don't touch anything
Open superboot file on PC
Try to Flash Amon_RA's Recovery again
If it still doesn't work, reply to this thread and say "When I tried to flash the recovery file, it said ________________ instead."
If flashing the recovery was successful, use the menu options to boot directly into recovery, or turn the phone off and continue on with next step!
Root
Turn phone off -> Hold Volume Down, hold Power button
Press Volume Down to highlight Recovery -> press Power to select Recovery. Your screen should look like this:
(Click for larger image)
Do this step only if you didn't use Superboot: Use trackball -> "Flash zip from from sdcard" -> nexus-addon-0.1-signed.zip
- If you get a Triangle with a ! in the middle alongside an Android for 5+ minutes, you MAY have to remove battery and re-flash recovery (I had to do this once.) (Make absolutely sure that nothing is happening on your phone, as removing the battery when it's doing something can cause a brick.)
- Alternatively, try the optional Superboot method, and then re-flash Amon_RA's recovery image.
Select Reboot.
Install ROM (Sense UI, Cyanogen, etc)
Turn phone off -> Hold Volume Down, hold Power button
Press Volume Down to highlight Recovery -> press Power to select Recovery
Backup/Restore -> Nand backup
Wipe -> Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe -> Dalvik Cache
Flash zip from sdcard -> alpha-r##-update-modacocustomrom-nexusone-desire-withadditions-signed.zip (Or whatever other ROM you're using.)
- If you get an error such as "E:\Can't open /sdcard/[blah].zip (bad)", the file is probably corrupt. (Modaco has had some issues with this recently; I don't know why.)
- If you want to make sure, use http://portableapps.com/node/19346 and drag the zip file onto it to verify the MD5 sum. For r21 with MoDaCo Additions, the MD5 should be: e5eb15ea971b220ffdfcac8f56037013
If you're using Cyanogen, flash the Google Addon.
Reboot
- If a picture of an Android falling out of a box shows up, something went wrong. Just wait for it to reboot into recovery. (Good you made a backup! Just in case.)
- Go back into recovery, Wipe all data again, Wipe Dalvik/cache again, and reflash the Sense ROM.
- If it still doesn't work, reply to this thread and say "I keep getting the Android falling out of the box when flashing the Sense ROM, even after repeated wiping."
If successful, a white HTC splash screen appears. It should take about 2-3 minutes to load into Sense.
If it gets past that, congratulations! You made it!
Post in this thread that it worked! And if you're feeling generous, feel free to send me a beer!
And finally, enjoy and have fun!

--------------------------------------------------
Install a Different ROM
If you want to install a new version of a ROM, switch to a different ROM like Cyanogen, etc, only repeat the "Install ROM" section. The only difference is you'll be downloading / flashing a different zip file of course.
Make sure you backup (and wipe!) first before flashing any new roms!
To go back to the original Android ROM, either Restore your backup, or download the zip file from the following thread and repeat the Install ROM section: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=614850
Known Issues:
Bluetooth is known to be buggy / will most likely not work. (Can't be fixed until HTC releases the Desire source code.)
USB mount notification does not appear - use 'USB Mount' application from menu.
To set live wallpapers, go into Settings -> Personalize.

A status update!
I now have the release candidate of the Desire ROM!
The new ROM, which is MUCH newer than the build I have been using to date is faster and smoother, the Camera app is better synchronised with the flash, the Live Wallpapers selector is in the right place, the base is ERE27 rather than ERD79 and there are numerous little fixes all over the place! Of course, it will take a bit of time for me to do a full quality port over for the next MCR, but i've done a quick hack to flash it on and see what works.
That's the good news - the bad news is BlueTooth, Camera, USB connect popup and FM Radio still don't work correctly out of the box. BUT - I have discovered why.
Basically, it all comes down to the kernel.
I have confirmed that all of the above (i'm not 100% sure on BT, i'm still investigating that one) use specific features in the Desire kernel that aren't available in the generic kernel. HTC enhancements if you will. The Desire ships with a .29 kernel which, based on what i've seen in the apps and the setup of the config file, is pretty heavily customised. Unfortunately the Desire kernel doesn't boot on the Nexus One, so we're in a bit of a sticky situation until the Desire kernel source gets released, and it's unclear when that will be (HTC's track record in that regard isn't fantastic)!
All is not lost however, as I have started looking at a new approach to fixing the problems, as seen in the camera fix for Alpha 16. I'm basically hunting down the kernel specific hooks and - where possible - i'm rerouting those to an alternate location that I can control. Taking the camera app as an example, the libcamera.so file was checking kernel specific points before deciding whether the flash should fire or not. It was doing things like checking for a phone call, checking for a wimax connection (!), and when these checks didn't work properly, it was preventing the flash firing. By editing this library and rerouting those locations, I was able to make the flash fire - much better than just dropping in the 'wrong' library which was the previous solution. Similarly, the camera application itself was dropping back to 3 Megapixels by default because it was looking for a 'sensor resolution' file produced by the kernel, which didn't exist. By determining this as the cause and reverse engineering the Camera application, I was able to make 5 Megapixels the fallback resolution instead. Problem solved.
Hopefully a similar approach can be used for the other problems (FM radio, USB connection and Bluetooth) and we'll get everything 100% - believe me i'm working on it.
If we CAN get this working fully, the work i'm doing here - if I can get it 100% - will also enable Desire users to have newer kernels and custom kernels with all the goodness that brings, without being dependent on a HTC Kernel source release.
There's lots to do - starting with the RC port to use as a base - but it's been a fun ride and it's gonna get funner. Thanks for all your support!

Quick question..will CyanogenMod ever support the new Sense UI built in? I realize its in Alpha stages but when its actually stable enough/all features working.
Because from what I understand only the Modaco rom comes with it?
What do you mean by "rooting"
As I understand, after you unlock bootloader and have Amon_Ra recovery you should be able to install any custom rom including both Modaco and CM
btw, if you are newbie, u should try out CM, Modaco or Enom stable first. Modaco Sense is in alpha state and still has many problems
Good guide btw
Great guide! Just explain to me the recovery image though, I don't understand what that one does, since I haven't actually done anything yet. >.>
Amon_Ra recovery is extremely helpful. It replaces the existing recovery and adds many features, including nandroid backup to back up and restore your phone in case you got screwed. It also applied zip custom roms from SD card(1 click) so you don't have to use command prompt -> more newbie friendly I guess.
btw, I don't think you need to flash Google apps in step E, correct me if I'm wrong though.
and take extra caution when flashing Radio, don't pull out the battery or do anything stupid because your phone might brick
Cheerio, very helpful guide. I'll bookmark it to link to people in the future.
"Quick question..will CyanogenMod ever support the new Sense UI built in?"
I doubt it. I don't think he did any Sense roms for the G1. But that's ok: Cyanogen if you prefer stock Android, Modaco if you prefer Sense UI. It's good to have options. And isn't that the greatness of Android?
---------------
"What do you mean by "rooting"?"
Rooting gives you superuser access. This is similar to using the Administrator account on Windows, but more so.
From http://www.linfo.org/root.html - "root is the user name or account that by default has access to all commands and files on a Linux or other Unix-like operating system. It is also referred to as the root account, root user and the superuser."
From http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/Main_Page - "In addition to locking the phone, carriers may impose software limitations to prevent using the handset in a manner that might undercut their voice plans - Skype, Google Voice, etc - or putting strain on the data network - tethering, streaming video, etc - The way round this is to acquire 'root' (administrator) access on your phone so you can install/modify/fix/break anything you want."

Many applications require root like Wifi Tethering, N1 Torch, and of course, installing some custom roms

duylong186 had a good explanation. So I'll just post a picture
Having a Nand Backup/Restore is downright AMAZING by the way. It's the ULTIMATE undo button!
This is also good info, just to stress this point again:

Be careful everyone!
nice guide. i did everything except flash the radio. i would get the android out of the box error. everything is working fine here so far. anyways, i have all the google apps as well.
sticky please! great work
Thx for the great guide! Got Sense working on my N1 now!
about flashing the radio...
flashed the radio twice..once from stock to the OTA version, then to leaked (current) version.
both times, i applied the update, rebooted, android out of box appears, phone does its thing, get to a point where it says its updating index or something and hangs...reboot at that point...new radio with no issues both times.
point of my post - don't panic if you see the android out of the box...

To be honest, I'm not exactly sure what the android-out-of-the-box means.
Are you saying that it will always show that after flashing any radio, and it is normal?

[Tutorial] Flashing KDZ on LG L5 II (E455/E460) and other LG phones

This tutorial is for the LG L5 II (E455/E460) and shall work on other LG phones too.
Many thanks to @iulykenoby who discovered this method.
To start, download a KDZ firmware for your LG E460 (and other phones) from here: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php
Be sure to match the phone with the right kdz!!!
1. Download LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix.ZIP (attached)
2. Download USB Driver http://algmcdn.lgmobile.com/dn/downloader.dev?fileKey=UW00120120425
If you can't boot anymore, enter into download/emergency mode and skip to step 5.
3. Put your phone in debugging mode (menu-Settings-Developer options-USB debugging).
4. Change your usb connection type to LG Software (menu-Settings-USB connection type)
5. Connect your phone to the PC and install USB Driver. After the installation disconnect and connect your phone again (to make sure it is detected).
6. Extract LG_KDZ_FW-Update_OfflineFix.ZIP
7. Run B2CAppSetup.exe and let it install and update itself. You may be prompted to update your drivers.
8. If you've done everything correctly, you should see this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
9. Close the official LG Mobile Support Tool.
10. Open Notepad in Administrator mode. (Go to windows menu, type notepad and right-click and run in Administrator mode)
11. Open the hosts file (c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc)
12. Add 127.0.0.1 csmg.lgmobile.com at the end of the host file.
13. Save the file. If the "Save as" dialog opens, it means you're not running notepad in administrator mode and you can't modify the hosts file.
14. Go to windows menu, type cmd and right-click and run in Administrator mode.
15. Drag Automatic Offline Procedure.vbs over command prompt and hit enter.
16. Click OK
17. Click on windows enable icon in system tray to turn ON then click the dialog box OK.
18. Click Ok.
19. Make sure Type is set to 3GQCT and phone mode to DIAG. Select your KDZ file and click Normal web upgrade test.
20. Click on Upgrade Start.
21. Click on Clear phone Software update Registry and then click OK.
22. Software Update Procedure will start immediately. It will take some time to finish.
After the flashing procedure, don't forget to delete that line you added in hosts or else you won't be able to officialy update (online) your phone and you won't be able to download anything from lg. Also, a factory reset may be needed after flashing to avoid conflicts with the old app data.
Ohhhhhh thx mircea, work for me. The problem was on step 19, now it's all ok.

Try booting again in upload mode. If I remember right it's: phone off and both volume keys pressed then introduce the usb cable. if you manage to boot in download mode, you can try to flash again. you surely didn't select the right kdz for your phone. be sure of your phone model and search for the right kdz for your phone. If you can boot in download mode nothing is lost, you can fix it.
Work

For root, the attached file should work (change it's extension from .zip to .exe). Instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2337802
it will root with a chineese tool, but there you'll also find instructions to change it to supersu/superuser.

you can flash any firmware from any country as long as it is for your phone model. i recommend you flash a firmware that's not branded (for ex branded by orange) so you won't have extra software that will slow down your phone. on that website you will find firmwares for many phones. our phone (e460) received an update, that's why they are called "a" "b" "c".

I suggest that you run that VROOT program in a sandbox as it is full of Malware or wait till someone posts an open source root exploitation method.

I suggest you change your antivrus. On virustotal.com out of 43 antivirus apps only 1 found it as malware.

Mircea,
I dont use or trust online scanners I prefer to use IDA and other tools to examine software. If you examine the software more closely you will find that it sends your PC information back to the author. It will also do an update check and install of the latest version automatically. It will also install an apk for a chinese file sharing site and multiple other files that he leaves in the phones system. I also rooted a test phone and it did root perfectly. I was not trying to scare people just give a little warning to be cautious when you install a program that has a primary interface language is not yours. I had no ill intentions just trying to make people aware of what I had found.

Yes, it installs a chineese apk because that's the root application (just like superuser). After installing supersu and deleting the chineese apk I scanned my phone with bitdefender and avg and found no malware.
You also can disable your internet before installing vroot on your computer, root your phone then uninstall it. Then you can scan your computer with any antivrus and antispyware software you want and you won't find a trace of Vroot. Before saying it's full of malware, you should prove it. I just proved with 43 antiviruses that it has no malware and all you're saying is you don't trust them. I also offered a solution to avoid sending information about your computer, IF that was the case. Also, using a sandbox just like you said is also ok.

[TUTORIAL] How to flash LG phones with LG Flash Tool 2014

Hello to you all I am making this flashing tutorial since I have seen enough people asking how to flash using this tool.
This tutorial will be 100% detalied and noob friendly, with pictures. So fasten your seatbelt and let's go.
1. Disclaimer:
Code:
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war,
or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any
concerns about all contained in this tutorial before you follow it! YOU are choosing to
make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device,
I will laugh at you. But since i'm a nice dude i will try to guide you anyway:)
2. General info:
This can be used to flash a new firmware that you will download from LG firmware website. You can upgrade/downgrade your current version.
This can be used for every situation that can get you in a working Emergency mode/Download mode.
This will work/not work (I didn't test) on versions grater than Windows 7 both 32 and 64 bit. I am not going to give support to Windows 8/Windows 8.1. If it works for you it's nice. If not I will ignore the posts like "What can I do not working on Windows 8" and so on. Same thing goes for WINE (windows loader for LINUX). Use this with Windows XP or 7.
3. What we need and getting ready:
a. Firstly, we need the Drivers for our Phone. The drivers I am attaching must be universal for LG but if they do not work for you then you need to search the drivers the manufacture made for your device.
Universal Driver for LG (TRY THIS FIRST BEFORE YOU GO AND DOWNLOAD FROM LG WEBSITE): LG Drivers.
Install the driver (the one I provided first). If your phone is not detected then search on LG website.
*If the ones I provided don't work you can fine the ones for your phone here: http://www.lg.com/. Search in the right up corner the model of your device. Select it. At download section (in the right of the mini-phone picture) you will see Software Updates & drivers. Select that and download the USB Drivers for Windows.
b. Secondly, we need the KDZ image that you want to flash. I am not going to provide any; you will download the one that you want FOR YOUR DEVICE (do not use any KDZ not intended for your device) from here: http://lg-phone-firmware.com/.
Press on the phone you have and download the image you want.
c. In the third place you want to download the tool: LG Flash Tool 2014.
*You need Winrar or 7Zip or any unraring program. Unrar it.
4. The actual flashing:
A)YOUR PHONE SHOULD BE IN EMERGENCY/DOWNLOAD MODE. The keys to do this are different from device to device so search the forums for your key combination. I will provide the way to get in Emergency for the L7 II and maybe L5 II and L3 II. Think this is the same for the first gen devices but can't confirm.
*With the phone turned off (I suggest to pull out battery for 5 seconds then put it back to be sure) hold Volume Down button and plug the USB cable that you have in your PC. If this doesn't work try holding Volume Down + Volume Up and plug the USB. If this doesn't work search the forums. You might also have a hard bricked device and this method won't work then.
B)Place the KDZ file you downloaded the 3.b. in the same folder that you unrared at 3.c. and Run as Administrator. (BE SURE TO HAVE THE KDZ FILE IN THE SAME FOLDER AS THE TOOL. The file i took for example is "Stock JB ROM.kdz").
*If you can't open this program then you need to instal this: C++ Libraries.

"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",

}
C)This will appear. Leave all the way it is and press the little folder in the right.
D)Select the KDZ you placed at point 4.B. and press Open (DO NOT SELECT RA or RC KDZ).
E)After you pressed Open you are back to the main screen you saw at point 4.C. Good.
Press Normal Flash (the left option) if you want to flash new KDZ preserving data (no data will be deleted). I do not suggest this because you might get a bootloop and you need to hard-reset (will wipe data). Always have all data backed-up.
Press CSE Flash (recommended) if you want to flash new KDZ with full wipe of data.
After selecting what you want you will get this screen.
Press START.
D)After you pressed START you will get this. DO NOT CHANGE ANYTHING, press OK.
E)Another dialog will pop and will flash your phone. First it will check USB connection but you already have USB connected when you got in Emergency so you should be fine. I assume you checked drivers at the Driver step so I assume there will be no problems.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT EVER DISCONNECT THE DEVICE EVEN IF YOU THINK IT'S STUCK, THE WINDOW GOT BLOCKED, IT DOESN'T SHOW ANYTHING OR ANYTHING ELSE. YOU CAN DESTROY YOUR DEVICE DO NOT UNPLUG AFTER YOU PRESSED OK AT STEP 4.D. WHEN THE DEVICE REBOOTS LEAVE THE USB IN FOR 2 MORE MINUTES THEN YOU CAN UNPLUG.
F)In some cases you might get a bootloop after 4.E. is completed. All you have to do is hard reset your device. Search the forum for specific hard-reset procedure. In P710 it's like this: with powered off device hold Volume Down + Home button and press Power. When you see LG logo stop holding Power. Keep other 2 buttons until you see android guy.
That's all folks and now the credits:
@quangnhut123 - He made this tool for us
me - Well I wrote this haha.
If you like it please consider donating. Thanks ^.^. Also do not forget to at least press THANKS button.

Trying to fix my LG Optimus L5 II
Hi guys, i'm having troubles with this method, tried both on win8.1 and 7 and i can't find a solution, maybe my phone is gone forever.
My problem is bootloop, and the phone isn't unrooted or modded in any way.
I'll explain what i tried:
-Hard reset (volume down+quickbutton+powerbutton) -> it only keeps vibrating an never showing the LG logo, when i release the buttons it just starts as normal (obviously bootloops).
-Update recovery with LGMobile Support Tool -> phone connects, firmware finish download, and then when it starts updating it just stops and says update failed for some reason.
-Flashing with LG Flash Tool 2014 -> It crashes after the extraction, maybe when it starts to flash.
thank you so much!!!
okay so, i made an account just so i could thank you for this tutorial and the software.
My LG L5 II (e460) was stuck in a bootloop and a hard reset did nothing for me. When i tried another flashing tut i got an error when the files were extracting in the lg mobile support tool. With yours i got the same error when i tried a flash with a full wipe of data to avoid the now dreaded bootloop. However when i tried a flash without loss of data it did actually do its job well. I work on a 64 bit with windows 8.1 computer btw. Once completed it did not give me a bootloop so it actually turned on, and thats a first in a long time. After that i did do a hard reset and now its as new.
So thank you thank you thank you! Thanks to this tut i am now able to gift my dad my once broken phone as if it just came out of the packaging!

You are welcome my friend. Usually this tool has problems on windows 8.1 (the errors you are talking about). With a Windows 7 machine works from first try. I am satisfied that I made your day. Peace out
Firstly - nice tutorial, really! Secondly - Why "LG firmware Updater Tool 2014" not "KDZ Firmware Updater" ? They are almost the same. And thirdly - from my expirience with KDZ reflashing on P713(was stuck with bootlogo), and also from 4pda comments, it's better to turn Emergency mode on phone(Vol.Down and then insert USB)(e.g. "Bootloader" mode isn't so easy to turn on as "Emergency"), - and Choose "Emergency" or "CS_Emergency" not "Diag" one) on step 4C. Also,if You're goin' to flash NON-cdma phone(as I know usually L7-ll isn't cdma),on step 4C it's better to choose "3gqct" not "cdma". And the last one - it should work on win8,but shouldn't work correctly via Windows 10 or Wine.

It is not cdma but doesn't have any impact. I can flash from emergency with Diag Mode also since the LG Modem is picked up in device manager in Emergency, so it should work.. Also I said that phone should be in emergency

Hello mate. Thank you for the tutorial. It's now very easy using LG Flashtool 2014.
All of the instructions worked for my L7 II P714. Now I have a clean stock JellyBean rom without the silly customizations from the Operator.
This L7 II has a very nice camera!
I got the clean JB KDZ from here:
HTML:
JellyBean V10E_00

It's from Panama.
Cheers.

Thanks!

The tool works 100% on Windows 10 (Pro, 64-bit, Creators Update). You don't need any special drivers, they are built into Windows 10.

Lenovo Tab a10-30 bricked or fixable?

Hello everyone,
I will share my experience with you, and I hope for a solution!
A few days ago I rooted my Lenovo tab 2 A10-30 successfully using Kingroot. Then, I tried to change Kinguser with SuperSU, which I also successfully did. However, I noticed that although the main root app was SuperSU, Kingroot was still on my phone, so I deleted it using a bloatware removal app and restarted the tablet. Now it won't turn on. It gets stuck at the Lenovo loading screen, and that's about it. When I press the power button + volume down button, it gets me to a Chinese menu that is not the recovery mode (there is no MMC, just options about voloume, colors, mic test etc). If I press the volume up+ volume down + power button, it just brightens the screen and shows nothing.
I tried flashing the stock ROM using the Smart Phone Flash Tool, but the PC does not recognize fully the tablet (it just prompts me to install the Lenovo USB drivers, and I cannot access the tablet's internal storage). Moreover, the Lenovo windows applications do not recognize the tablet when I connect it to the PC.
I really do hope that there is a way I can fix it.. Thank you all in advance.
Hi,
I did almost exactly the same... Kingroot, tried to remove bloatware with another app, and ended up with a bricked tablet I can still access the bootloader, but flashing the tablet from there is to no avail.
I am still looking for the original ROM, which seems nowhere to be found. Did you, by any chance, make a backup first?
Another one here But I'am able to go into recovery and into adb sideload, from there I can view internal memory(/system). And it looks like system is trying to load supersu-daemon which was removed and it can't get past that. I tried to recover paths (to original ones), but it still wont go past loading screen. (it is just restarting the app_process32).
Now if we only could get the hold on original factory firmware... from there one we can sideload it via fastboot.
And for the drivers you need andorid usb drivers https://developer.android.com/studio/run/win-usb.html#top
TLDR; we are looking for TB2-X30F_USR_S000015_1601151950_Q8009_ROW_qpst.zip
So, I have spent about 5 hours attempting to find a way to dump the firmware without first rooting the device, so that I could share it with you guys (and have a backup for myself in case I attempt to root it myself.) Unfortunately it seems like it needs to be rooted before I can create a nandroid backup through adb. Unfortunately the tablet is not based on mtk, and I cannot find any qualcomm utils that can dump the firmware.
The one Qualcomm util I found (QFIL) seems like it is only for flashing, and for backing up some individual data for the tablet (I assume it may contain such as license keys for the commercial features in the recent phones such as Sony Xperia Z3). I also looked into fastboot, and that too can only flash a new firmware.
So, unless the tablet gets rooted I don't see any way to make a proper backup.
I am unable to post links in messages, so you need to do some manual editing.

This however seems like very valuable information, unfortunately the only places I can find that has this available for download is charging money for access to the file.

It might also be available www DOT fars-gsm DOT com/75531-tb2-x30f_usr_s000015_1601151950_q8009_row_qpst-zip.html, at least they list the changelog for the firmware.
Since I have no use for a firmware right now, I will not be buying access to one (unless I at some point manage to brick mine as well). But if anyone decides to do so, please share it so others can enjoy it as well. I also suspect that if the file was available, it would increase the probability of someone attempting to make a custom rom at some point as well, it is a very cheap tablet when on sale, so it should have good potential for a community.
PS: I also stumbled over something called vRoot, that might be an alternative to Kingroot, although I have no idea whether it is as good at rooting and not installing unwanted extra apps. I guess someone who has used it on a tablet/phone that has a backup available might be able to shed some light on that.

This is the QFIL (Qualcomm Flash something system) mode, however I do now know whether that helps anything at all. Since it seems to me it probably wont accept the TB2-X30F_USR_S000015_1601151950_Q8009_ROW_qpst.zip file mentioned in the thread. It seems to expect some xml file, maybe the zip file contains that?
Hi guys i have been strugling with this unit The last 3 days. I have eksakt same problem. I found these files: lenovo-forums.ru/files/category/106-прошивки-lenovo-tab-2-a10-30/
I extracted Them but dont know how to flash Them ?? Hope u guys Can help (sorry for bad english)
To Download files from Lenovo-forums.ru i logged in with my Google account
[PUT ROM TEMPORARILY HERE: https://www.wetransfer.com/download...024ee2974a44f8aa50e3dcd120160615184237/a84735 ]
Wow, suddenly action! With the help of Dead2 and Andersbp I have made some progress. Here are my steps:
I purchased the ROM from the Iranian site, and downloaded the other from the Russian forum. So now I have 2 ROMs:
65M TB2-X30F_S000015_160115_ROW_TO_TB2-X30F_S000016_160602_ROW_WCA72E4AB5.zip (Russian)
1.1G TB2-X30F_USR_S000015_1601151950_Q8009_ROW_qpst.zip (Iranian)
The smaller one is simply an update, which you could install easily:
1) boot into Recovery Mode
2) select "Apply Update from ADB"
3) run: adb sideload TB2-X30F_S000015_160115_ROW_TO_TB2-X30F_S000016_160602_ROW_WCA72E4AB5.zip
Which works... UNLESS YOU ROOTED THE DEVICE. Then it fails, and does not want to update. Thanks Lenovo
So, the larger one is a different type of ROM. This one will not load with adb sideload (gives footprint and signature error). But it DOES contain all the files to flash with QFIL (Qualcomm Flash something system).
Here I'm stuck. I followed this guide:
http://guidebelajar.blogspot.nl/2016/03/guide-how-to-flash-firmware-lenovo-vibe-p1.html
and tried to install these packages:
1) You must download and install USB Driver for Lenovo on your windows computer or PC.
2) QPST-2.7.422-qfil-qcom-Upgrade-Tool-20140422
3) Download Qualcomm HSUSB USB COM Drivers
(Note that you need to register and log in to needrom.com FIRST. Then click the link, but it will give an access error. Remove all in the URL after needrom.com (so go back to the main site), then go back to the download link, and it will work - the file is there.)
1) and 2) install pretty fine, but 3) is just a zip with a lot of drivers, no installer. I have no clue on how to install the proper driver...
Furthermore, the site suggests to install something on the device itself:
5) Create a folder with the name sdfuse in the root of the SD-card phone
6) Put the qsb-firmware (file with the extension .qsb) in the folder sdfuse.
Here I have 2 problems: First, my device does not boot, so I cannot create/copy files. Seconly: I cannot find qsb-firmware.qsb anywhere...
@ Dead2: How did you go through these steps?

Ok, I used a LenovoUsbDriver_v1.0.12.exe driver installer, and that includes the HSUSB drivers needed, and I can confirm that windows recognizes the tablet as being in HSUSB mode with those. Whether QFIL does I have not tested.

After you get past installing the HSUSB driver, you are officially the one that has gotten furthest on this.
I will assist in any way I can, but I will not attempt flashing my own tablet until I actually need to

I tried that one too, but to no avail When I try to execute the executable, it ask for administrator permission, and after that vanishes...

Other question: when is your tablet recognised by Windows? Also in Recovery Mode?
Thanks!

Press the Volume Up button and keep holding it while connecting it to the computer/laptop using USB cable.
Lenovo Vibe P1 will vibrate one time, and you will see black screen.
You need to hold in VOLUME UP AND VOLUME DOWN AND POWER button at same time. Until you see

Thanks
Btw: I noticed that the rom from Andersbp is a TB2-X30L rather than the TB2-X30F. I used my F file (paid for it, dammit ), and that one also works well.
I am currently checking if I can modify the stock ROM to enable root / mult-user. Any hints?
Nice zwartoog !

Noo, no Kingroot. That's where all the disasters began. It is full of bloatware. Trying to uninstall Kingroot lead to bricking the device
Personally I am only interested in re-enabling the multi-user feature from lollipop. WHICH IS FOR SOME REASON DISABLED BY LENOVO Even when rooted and modifying the system/build.prop did not re-enable it.
I'm giving up now. At least I have a workable device. Restored pride. And more important: 3 happy kids
I think the TB2-X30L is the LTE version of the tablet, while the TB2-X30F is the wifi-only version. If correct, then there should be no problem
when using the LTE on a non-LTE model, but the other way around could potentially cause LTE to not work. The LTE firmware might have some
extra apps and settings enabled to cater to this ability, but it might also be completely identical. Btw, what does the model information say
after being flashed with the L firmware? In any case it is useful to know that they are cross-compatible, since sometimes there can be differences
in chipsets or screens that can cause minor or major problems.
As I mentioned earlier, another root alternative to kingroot seems to be vRoot, but I have not tried it myself. But now that it is possible to
recover a bricked tablet, it is also less risky to test such things.
BTW: Please remember to use the "Thanks!" button on posts you find helpful, I have tried to do so myself on the posts that I find helpful

Same issue here as well, nothing I try works on this phone, it's driving me insane.
EDIT: It's android 6, so you can't root the phone without a custom recovery.
WELP. So I just spent the past 2 days wasting my time on this god awful phone. I can't even access fastboot on this piece of crap, it comes up for 2 seconds and then disappears and no amount of "properly" installing usb drivers for it has helped. I even tried disabling driver signing and installing the drivers through adding legacy hardware. Nothing worked at all. So I thought I'd just install a custom recovery with sp flash tool. So I downloaded a stock rom for the vfd300 (my phone) from here: https://androidmtk.com/download-vodafone-stock-rom-models and ported TWRP using an ASUS Zenfone GO's TWRP.img.
Custom Recovery works fine, the phone does not. It is now stuck in a bootloop. Tried formatting everything (from TWRP) doesn't work. Tried flashing the rom again (even with the stock recovery) still stuck at bootloop, tried about 3 other vfd300 stock roms that people have uploaded to http://forum.gsmhosting.com and none of them have worked either. Currently downloading yet ANOTHER one and tbh I don't have high hopes. (EDIT: It didn't work)
Any help at this point would be appreciated.
Holy crispy crap it started............................. So I managed to find a working rom from (what appeared to be) some Vietnamese file hosting website .
You follow the instructions below at your own risk. No one is responsible for any damage done to your device but you.
I officially have root working on this device.
Now that I've done it, it's a surprisingly simple procedure. As I stated in the edit in my reply above, the VFD300 has Android 6 on it, which requires (afaik) a systemless root to be installed from recovery.
I ported the custom recovery from this thread (since the Z00VD has the same chip as the VFD) which you can download here.
Download the latest version of Chainfires beta SuperSU installer from this thread and transfer it to either your phones internal storage or SD card.
Also download a copy of SP Flash tool (if your fastboot works, use that instead). Finally, you will need this scatter file.
Unplug your phone from the computer and shut it down. Open SP Flash tool and click the download tab at the top.

}
Click "choose" next to the Scatter-loading file box and select the path to the scatter file you downloaded. IMPORTANT Make sure all boxes below except recovery are unchecked and select Download Only in the drop-down box. Double click on recovery in the Location column and point it to the custom recovery image you downloaded.
Click the Download button at the top and then plug your phone back in. The bottom bar will turn red, then purple, then yellow and once it is fully done flashing you will get a pop-up box with a green tick as confirmation.
Unplug your phone and reboot into recovery (Power+Vol-Up). In the custom recovery, select install, go to the directory you transferred Chainfires beta SuperSU.zip to, install it and reboot. TWRP will ask you if you want it to install root, DO NOT LET IT INSTALL ROOT. Your phone may loop a few times and can take up to 10 minutes to boot the first time, but it will be successfully rooted.
If you need a copy of the stock rom, download this one. If you want to flash this rom, make sure you use the scatter file in the roms archive and select firmware upgrade from the Download Only box on SP Flash Tool.
EDIT: I'm so sorry I borked the hyperlink order. Instead of linking to the scatter file I linked to the entire rom and vice versa with the stock rom link

Sounds like a boot loop. You need to download the stock rom (it should be about 700mb or so and in rar format). Once you've downloaded the stock rom, extract the archive to a folder somewhere (you will need something like 7zip or Winrar). Open SP Flash tool, load the scatter file from the extracted folder and make sure you select every box. There should be a check mark in each box. Change SP Flash tools dropdown box to firmware upgrade (by default it is on Download Only) and then flash it similar to how you did with the recovery (make sure you change the recovery to the custom one from above).
If my instructions aren't clear enough, I can do it again to my phone and take pictures of the entire process to make it easier to follow.

Yeah man! I've done that as well but had no luck .
1. I've enabled USB Debugging Mode and I've shut my phone down (NOTE: It has not been connected to the computer)
2. I opened the SP Flash tool and I clicked the download tab at the top
3. I then choose next to the scatter-file thing and have relocated it to the scatter file that I've downloaded from your link
4. ALL boxes are unchecked except recovery with download-only in the drop-down box
5. I've done the recovery image and everything and then...
6. I plug my phone in (Yes, it's completely shut down from step 1) with the USB cable and nothing shows up (Colored bars, tick etc.)
7. When I unplug it, an error comes up and then I'm completely stuck with no idea of what to do next
[UPDATE] - Does my phone have to be on the latest version?
Same problem
I'm having the same issue. I follow the instructions, phone off, press download, etc. I dont get any bars changing colours.
Did you manage to sort it out yet?
[update] managed to work it out. the MT65xx drivers werent installed properly. Use the instructions here (I cant post links!!! google: sp-flash-tool-mediatek-mt65xx-drivers-download-and-installation-guide-including-bricked-devices) to get them working first, make sure the battery is out of your phone and the main instructions in this thread work first time.

My brother, you're a genius . Thanks for helping out! It was worked. God bless!
stuck with a white circle runs
hi bro, i met the same issue.
I've done all the step successfully, and after i reboot my phone, it shows up with the logo of Vodafone, then a big circle became a smaller one, and then, the small circle runs endlessly.
I can go in recovery, but cannot boot the system.
I also did a memory test, got tow error
ERROR: NAND Flash was not detected!
ERROR: UFS was not detected!
I tried many times, and format whole flash and download all of them again.
it just doesn't work.
please help, thank you in advance.

Bro I got the EXACT same issue now because I accidentally installed Supersu through TWRP (which is pretty stupid because it was mentioned to AVOID the Supersu prompt when exiting TWRP). I've been stuck on bootloop for a couple of days now .

Did you make sure to power off your phone and unplug the USB, then press download and reconnect your phones usb? Don't turn the phone back on, just replug it in after you hit the download button.
....why?

Bro, I accidentally installed Supersu when the prompt came up as I tried to exit TWRP. I know you said to NOT let it install, which was pretty stupid that I didn't read carefully what you wrote. Now I'm stuck in bootloop -_-.
Please help bro; I've tried flashing it to the stock rom, removing dalvik cache and everything etc. Nothing's working. Please help!
successfully got a rooted vfd 300

I was stuck in bootloop, but we don't share the same reason. I think there is something wrong with the rom above.
I found another rom, flash it, and problem solved, pretty simple. Now, I have a rooted vfd 300, even better than the stock rom, but you need to delete some app you don't like before you enjoy it.
you can find this rom by searching MT6580_S00_EMMC_MRA58K__6.0_VFD-300_Vodafone.zip

Vodafon VFD300 Firmware + TWRP + ROOT
As recommended above, Vodafon vfd 300 as a result of the phone turned on until the endless download -TWRP was not requested, sr1-SuperSU-v2.82 - sr120170608224931 and flash driver SP Flash Tool 3.1352.01 (5.1352.01) did not fit. I decided to solve the problem - the vfd 300 flashed through the firmware MT6580_S00_EMMC_MRA58K__6.0_VFD 300_Vodafone_356774071726533_08_19_2016_09_02_53 (1) (2), the flash driver SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1648_vin - the next way (remove the battery, hold the volume (-) until the end of the firmware, Download, connect the cable to the phone (the firmware will go to Emergency port about 8 minutes)
****************Next, we flash the TWRP - the flash driver SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1648_ the scatter and the TWRP are recommended - (MT6580_Android_scatter.Tht and
*Recovery-TWRP-VFD300.img) flashing.
**********We check TWRP (we clamp simultaneously ON-volume (+) release ON-opens TWRP.
**********Get Root rights ---- copy SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742.zip to the phone folder, turn off the phone, go to TWRP find Install - SuperSu - Swaipe to instal - Dj not Install. All made happy, good luck. There will be questions [email protected]

4. ALL boxes are unchecked except recovery with download-only in the drop-down box

you need to make sure you click download on flash tool then plug the usb in to phone and pc (also remember the battery has to be out of the phone for it to flash)
then you should see the red, yellow, green colours.
Hi all. I will be attempting to root my Vodafone VFD-300 tomorrow, after reading through the entire thread there seems to have been many issues with getting it done successfully. I also saw that it was suggested to provide step by step screenshots of the entire process. If anyone who managed to do the whole rooting with no problems could please do so again and provide us with the step by step screenshots,it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
