Tried flashing this rom tonight. The modem flashed fine, but I get an error when installing the Rom. "Error: unable to mount 'system'
I was coming from the crdroid ROM, and wiped cache, DC, system and data as advised.

I ran into the same error, however, the rom flashed fine. I think it might have to do with the device being plugged in at the time of flash.
You should see that after the installation is done, it says the installation was successful.

When I go to reboot after the flash tho, a popup warns that no system is installed. I didn't go any further and just restored my backup just to be safe.

This Rom works awesome... Yes you will get an error after install... Ignore it. I have been running this since it's initial post in another thread for about a week no issues....
Thanks

All errors fixed also includes the missing tethering and networks not loading?
Also you made a joke about missing the clock app is it still missing?
Also is xposed included in this version? I loved that in your other rom.
I love the rom otherwise. Super lightweight and snappy.
Thanks for all the hard work we all really appreciate it

Finally have a thread up!
Running the Debloated rooted/xposed version with G3TWB and all is running swell. No complaints from me.

When you update the rom with xposed and framework, would i be able to dirty flash that over your original stock rooted rom?

Any one taking bets?
How long will it take for someone to inquire about a 855 version? Sorry if my cynical side is showing.....good work on this rom. Us little guys really appreciate some local flavour (note the correct spelling) eh?

Just confirming, I can go from rooted/bumped stock kk to this following OP instructions and just keep moving along? No more retverting to original stock?
Thanks

So just to make things straight. Flashing this Rom and the baseband allows me to not have to update my kitkat to that of the official lollipop ota right?

Thats correct, be sure to be on the latest recovery, no more OTA. If you want to return to KK be sure to have the KK baseband
Edit: Fixed the title of the thread. lol oops

Great. Now I just hope I have no issues with all my casting apps. I guess that's what backups are for.

Well atm I'm on cm12 with the original stock kitkat. I flashed the lollipop modem that someone posted not too long ago. Do I still need to re download and flash the baseband of I want to flash this Rom?

glad to see this back! do you HAVE to have twrp? I've had nothing but problems with twrp after 2.2 (I think that was the version. it was right after s-off)

Thats what I used. But it was 2.5.
I've been having issues with it myself with my s3 and getting liquid 2.4 to install.
Thanks though. I got in a little trouble for posting Hacker Smash Edition.
That would be why it says WAREZ in the download.
WAREZ meaning pirate/copyright software. Opps lol.
Plus I fixed all my links in my old posts.
If you need any copy of my htc incredible roms. There in my sig.
Enjoy!!
I would like to try this out. Is it any more stable than cm 10 is? What I mean is that with cm10 and avatar my phone was very unstable. It would open apps all by itself and just all types of stuff like that. Maddy phone unusable. I'm using pizzuto 5.0 and have no issues at all. I just dont like sense very much.

Sorry will fix in update.
Has anyone tried?
Neither 5.0.1 or 5.0 3 would flash for me, giving me a status 7 error. I'm using twrp 2.2 though. I will try to get a chance to update that and try again. 5.0.1 did start to install then the error. 5.0.1 acted like an update then the error.

Changelog for Virtuous Onemax 1.0.1:
It brings back Virtuous Tweaks. You can find them in the Settings. There is a %stock battery option for the moment. In the next updates more tweaks should be coming. I'm always open for suggestions.
There is also an auto-installer for Xposed included. If you haven't installed any Xposed module before than the installer should enable the Virtuous Xposed module automaticly. You only have to reboot the device once more after the first boot. If you have already played with Xposed then please enable Virtuous Xposed in the module list. Otherwise the tweaks won't work.
Well that sucks. I mean I'm glad it's out for those guys. But no love for one max Verizon sucks.lol. nevertheless congrats on the Rom.

Finally some real love for this device . Sorry for you Sprint & Co guys.
Super excited for this opportunity for the One Max community!
Cool, nice to see more devs for this device!
Hi,
When you say Full Wipe does it mean, wipe cache, data and dalvik-cache or does it include system too.
Sorry for asking just gotta to make sure.

I can really understand you Maybe I can make it compatible with the Verizon version of the Max too. But for this I would need your help.
Can you start this package in the recovery (best would be CWM and TWRP) and give me the output of it. And then a "adb shell cat /proc/emmc" would be needed too.

A wipe (Data, Cache and Dalvik) is enough. The system partition is formatted during the flash of the rom.

what is your method to get init.d and system write protection working since kernel source isnt out yet ?

init.d support has nothing to do with the kernel itself. It is handled through the ramdisk and therefore no kernel source is needed.
To disable the system write protection I used the module provided by flar2. I had to patch it (hexedit) to make it working for the One max.

That is only possible with the stock recovery. And maybe a locked bootloader, not sure there though.

Yes. It should be theoretically possible. But it would be a full rom then. And I'm not sure if people want to download it over the phone then. But lets see when the first big Android update for the Max arrives.

Is AllianceRom similar to JellyBean's? I really enjoyed that rom, and it was extremely stable. I'd prefer a more stripped rom though. Do you know yet the few things that may stay in Purified? I'm hoping it's completely stripped except for multi window, and the clipboard. Will it have the notification toggles like the G3 or like AOSP? Looking forward to more roms available for the Verizon G3.
Edit: The Note 2 was where I had experience with your JellyBean's rom.
This! I will be replacing Jasmine with this due to issues with Google Play Services.

image by anseboviThis rom was compiled by me only, Scott.Hart.bti has done the real work!
I am proud to present to you BeanStalk Builds put together by myself. This is a build composed off of the CM builds and ScottHart.BTI has added alot of features on top of it. So you get speed, stability, and ultra customization ability. Many of the additional code additions come from slim ROM and also Derteufels build and have been modified to work with my current setup. A huge thanks to Derteufel and the Slim ROM guys for their work and dedication. Also a big thanks to everyone involved with CM as that is the building stone in this project. Thanks to skyliner33v for the bootanimation and wallpapers!

Please give first boot a good few minutes.

***Please keep in mind that this is the initial release and bugs are to be expected. I am working on this myself and do not have a team that is helping me. Before reporting bugs, please make sure you verify everything on your end and make sure you do a full wipe and format first to make sure it is a legitimate issue. Im going to say this once and only once... I am doing this for fun. It is my CHOICE to share my work with everyone. If you decide that you do not like my work, good for you.. Move on and flash something else. I will not tolerate ungrateful people in my thread.***
[*]Make sure you are rooted with a custom recovery & on "UCMD3" Modem!!
[*]Download both the BeanStalk build and the latest GAPPs package.
[*]Boot into recovery
[*]Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe /system and dalvik cache as a precaution
[*]Flash BeanStalk build
[*]Flash GAPPs package
[*]Reboot
[*]You will NEED to FLASH SuperSU by itself until I have the time to fix the one built into my rom.

This has been a long road but finally!!NOTICE: THIS BUILD HAS KITKAT BEANSTALK IMAGES & BOOTANI!!!
The reason for this is because BeanStalk WILL NOT boot on this device with the 5.0 parts for some strange reason?
NEW BUILD with Beanstalk papers & bootani from kitkat!
Sweet ROM. Hope you can get the boot ani from LP going....it's killer!
Edit: 2 Notes. To get the pull down tiles to show, go to Smart Pull Down and set it to anything but "Off".
To get Weather to show in the pull down....turn on the Weather toggle and then tap the null-null in the pull down.....that will take you to the Weather Settings.
Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
had to install SuperSU-v2.45 thru recovery to gain root.

I believe that we need to repartition the device for our gapps & maybe for the bootani as well. I've been looking at doing this but I need to find a stock "pit" file so I can proceed. If you could point me to that file then we could possibly flash any gapps and have the 5.0+ bootani with wallpapers.

If you would like to mess around & see what all will work from 5.0 & up I'd be happy to add those things back into my BS builds? Like the bootani & wallpapers. When I add supersu the way Scott has it setup it always gives an error when flashing so I am trying to implement it into my rom like in my others. I'm always busy but open for suggestions to make my work better or whatnot. Also did you see my post about a pit file? Not really sure how much that would help users but it would allow us to flash the full gapps if we desired to do so.

I've looked around and from what I can tell you need to be running stock firmware to extract the pit file. I doubt it will be of any use but there is a pit file for the rogers variant of the i717 on the gsmhosting forums
rom great, but i cannot play clash of clans...

sorry for my bad english .
I don't think that is problem with the ROM my copy of clash of clans is playing just fine aside from the fact that the keyboard doesn't like to stay open when I try to use the clan chat

Any way to add the NAVBAR? In the past I would disable the capacitive buttons and add the onscreen soft keys.

Dialer code info
Backup your EFS first!!! Just to be safe - In the FAQ
A dialer reset may be required for a lot of the issues. In order, easy to most invasive.....
##UPDATE#
or
##SCRTN#
or the biggie - which fixes bootani and Wifi calling
##RTN# - requires your MSL. You will need to either call Sprint. Or, follow THIS
Info
If you end up doing the dialer reset, you'll probably end up with the Sprint bootani again. Well, Sprint changed how it's installed so I've got to work on that.
Woot! Thanks @engine95

I noticed there is the "Oversharpening fix" but it was vague. Does it remove oversharpening period?

Guess I've been away to long, ZVC out I'm still merging Linux kernel into zva kernel. Well I've come to a little stand still on that. Now going to test this rom out.
Engine what changed in zvc?

Not yet. But I'll get to it soon. ZVB might work, but make sure you backup first.

Not sure yet. Cosmetics mostly from what I've noticed.
But I think they done done work on the modem and rpm,tz partitions.
Haven't even looked at the kernel yet. But it seems if I strip the padding from the kernel, some people have issues flashing it.
This kernel isn't striped and nobody's had issue yet. But stock zvc, is striped and some are having issues flashing it.
Flashed and loaded perfectly. Thanks for this.
BETEO
How's it running for you guys so far?? I downloaded but haven't had time to flash it yet...
Very smooth. No lag at all. Battery life seems pretty good for stock so far.

Maybe? But if you have issues, then clean install.
Coming from the BareBum's you should be OK, because the apps moved to /data are similar.
You'll probably need/want to flash the modem also. The rpm,tz partitions are optional and will probably give some issues. But ymmv. That's why neither the modem or rpm,tz partitions are included. I need to add the modems to post #2 or #3. Or for now, get them from the Stock thread.

Screen looks great i think. Looks soft but at the same time everything seems to pop more. Especially if you are looking at a very detailed full res image. Are the new modems and partitions built into this rom?
