I put few days ago W10M AU to few 920 and 925 without problem with WPInternals. Plus made some fixes (virtual memory). Owners is happy and for now is satisfied with W10M.
Wp8.1 can work 1000x better but who need him when dont have support and apps. With 8.1 you only have phone and camera...

I know that Microsoft use a special software to output the phone into TV, laptop, however, they don't release it. Custom WP7 roms have this functionality, so just wait for some dev to come out with support for WP8.
There is that possibility ? Is anyone working on this ? thank !
Its realy but we have no comunity (as DFT on HD2).
I have many knowege (i build from source Android for Xperia Neo V & Samsung Galaxy Mini) but i buy WP smart (Lumia 710) one day ago
i tink the hardware will be a problem.
The 710 struggles with a full screen of tiles on 7.8
I doubt WP8 will run well but I would love to see a port

Whatsapp is on this smartphone not running anymore, so i want to upgrade.

Android pie is a major update in terms of the AI assistant but will not be coming to the Nokia 7. The Nokia 7 is less than a year old and its support has been dropped by HMD Global. This is outrageous, we just bought these...

I'm tired with 4G issue on Andoird 8.1. So disappointed when have no Andoird Pie to fix this.
Maybe it will be updated, but on China so @nokiamobile doesn't mention it.

Don't worry you will get Android Pie. It is only that Nokia 7 does not come under the global support of Nokia. If you have followed the news, they have beta tested Android P for Nokia 7 as well among other devices. So, they are cooking it. Just give them some time and it will be updated. Do keep your hopes for Android O as well!
Its confusing as hell as the consumer. I really dont care to understand the relationship behind Nokia, Nokia China, HMD Global. They need to get their act together and tell me what phone gets what update (and where).

That is why Apple has succeeded. That is also one reason why Nokia failed in the symbian era. Each phone was its own closed ecosystem for the most part, and Nokia had the clout to encourage users to buy new phone for what was most needed (software features).
