First. I am a new member in here, sorry if me disturbing you or false thread place. please correct me if I wrong.
I have an chinese phone with MT6582, I want to install a Custom recovery but there's no tutorial with it. so I searching in chinese phone forum and i found MTKDroidTools to make and flash recovery for all mediatek MT65XX device. I read and do all instruction but my MTKDroidTools cannot read my device, I think i just wrong installing adb and usb driver (adb google without usb driver) and i reinstalling it but it's not change anything so I check in device manager. and it's make me confused.

I really confused my computer detect's 4 unknown devices and 1 Universal Serial Bus Controller
any people know how to install adb device and usb controller for these device ?
for information: all of 4 unknown devices have an a name "spreadtum" the name same with cpu vendor

I am defenitley stuck at point 1: 1. Make sure you have installed adb drivers (If you don't know ADB installation use any of these links LINK 1 , LINK 2 )
I did everything that was written in LINK 1 but no adb driver has been installed. I have currently the device connected to the pc through usb and the device manager of windows 7 is like this:

I tried to tell windows the driver is in the folder "google usb driver" (i downloaded this archive:www.mediafire.com/?xt1dmy3iz8humgb) but no way ... any help?!?!
EDIT: since the first time i have connected the device to the pc i did not launch PC Companion i re-did everything from the beginning but this time i told the phone to install PC Companion. The result is that now i can see the xperia mini pro in windows'7 device manager like this:

Hi guys,
I was trying to update my ROM with SP Flash tool but the preloader appear and then desappears as a device. Researching about it I read a lot of cool information about testpoint but I didn't see any explicit information about where exactly is the huawei g500 pro u8832d testpoint. I read some thread saying that possibly I can hold vol down/high and/or power. Then when I hold vol/up in my phone (without battery) the PC sound new device connection and firstly the "Mediatek USB port' appear.. then desappears... After that "Mediatek preloader usb vcom" appear .. then desappears. And the device manager refresh every time showing one or other or none and never become stable.
I found a KCOLO point too in u8836d pcb and the same thing happens when I short circuit it with GND.
Does anybody knows how do I start the preloader permanently with my G500?

my Lenevo s850 not recognize in laptop.
history:
i have root my mobile.
remove some factory installed unused apps then phone malfunctioning,calling not working.
so i made emmc clear in hard reset.then phone update and ok.working ok.
after that i have flash custom vibe 2 ROM by flash tool , phone working ok.
when phone switch and again on.
i try to again flash original flash ROM it completed but preloader error msg was coming and flash tool completed.
. but when disconnect phone and again not ON. i try to factory or meta mode but not working screen,when connect to PC it shows usb not recognize.
i read other thread regarding this.
if i have to jumper the usb charging.give me picture of point.
help me to On the phone.
Make sure USB debugging is set to on. Like so :

To turn it on go to about device and click build number 5-7 times to enable developer settings

I have a Lenovo s960t phone (I think fake Lenovo). I tried change rom and I load a wrong preloader. Now the phone not turn on, not charge, I can't get any sing of life. It hard bricked.
But I tried go to meta mode with short the colo or kcolo with ground. But havent any sing on motherboard which golden point the colo. I found 2 point (can see on picture) what work and the pc is see SOMETHING on USB port. Unkown device. I tried tons of MTK 65xx driver to install. Change my operation system to 32 bit Windows 7 but same. Unknows device. Tried both golden point and same results.

To upgrade phone's Android
Bootloader must be unlockable ( Option OEM unlock must be present in Android settings )
Both ADB and Fastboot must be installed on computer
A Custom Recovery ( CWM and/or TWRP ) suitable to phone must be available
A Custom ROM - of your choice - suitable to phone must be available
Hi have had reply now from arbor the only issue i have now is getting the driver “Mediatek Preloader USB VCOM driver” installed just will not load without code 10 ?
